I bought a TV and good Faith. Knowing that at the time, square trade was a good and fair company about fixing any issues that you may have with electronics TV's that sort of thing, but then when my TV had an issue with having lines and all of these different colors all over the place they informed in for me. Oh, well, we no longer cover that. But that's not a me problem I feel like this company just scams people out of money to buy their warranties and don't disclose every bit of the information of what is and is not covered. I highly suggest if you have a warranty with them, I suggest you call them and get your money back because it's ridiculous. You can cancel your warranty anytime you want with them and they will, give you your money back. I highly suggest you do that because they're complete idiots over there. Not a, one of them will do anything to help you.
Square trade only communicates via emails as they do not wish to speak with claimants. Then when you call they blow smoke up your $#*!,make excuses to get your call ended. You never speak to the same person twice when you call and that person can not give you an answer. I bought a 58" RCA TV & extended Square Trade extended warranty from Walmart(Only choice you have). TV totally quit working after 2 1/2 years. Still fighting after 5 days to get any responses as to my claim. No responses to e-mails. I don't understand how Allstate can partner with such a horrendous outfit. Basically they get your money and screw you when you file a claim. Square trade does not want to part with one cent of your warranty money. Biggest scam on the planet. Sad as this is the first extended warranty I ever purchased in my 72 years on this earth. All Square Trade will do is blow smoke up your $#*! when you need them. Disgusting.
When I buy a waarenty, I expect to recieve it in 1 maybe five days. The first bank considerdered their first check fraudelent, told me "we dont expect fraudelent checks." Squaretrades advice was to try another bank. Ok, so then thay say we can send it through pay pal, cool1-6 bussiness days. I never recieved that payment. By time rent came due, I couldnt afford it. They ruined the last month of my life for sure, the next few months potentially. I finally ricieved my 129.99 waranty refund in the last 24 hours. Exactly a month later. In my opinion, unethical, corrupt and morally wrong. Thanks Square trade. I reported them via online email or submit for, not sure what they call it, to the usps
Spend your money elsewhere, nothing but troubles with square trade. A terrible out sourced process & by the end the usually fail to follow through.

The worst is my laptop. We paid a grand for it. Kid spilled drink, monitor shorts out. We are out of commission, no pay. Call for help, can't find receipt. Call to ask for what they need to start claim. They say receipt. They put me through to someone. They put me through to someone. No one can help. Go to store to get new receipt printed off credit card. Problem with printer. Walmart customer service worker takes picture of UPC # and other items bought on that receipt, says it should be good enough.

I called to cancel my plan when I notice AT&T did not cancel, I was told I had to contact square trade and if it had been within 30 days I could have requested a refund -which it was 4 days outside outside the time frame and been charged a second time. I've then seen on the website that you can request the pro rated refund which I call back the following day to do so And was told since it was month to month coverage that I could not even get it pro rated refund...although I turned the phones in within my 14 days of getting them And never used or needed the service yet I couldn't even get one month refund. I requested to speak with the supervisor which if that's how their supervisor act, it's no wonder the company has a very poor rating. This company does not represent All State and a good light at all! I have other policies with all state and have never had to deal with the lack of customer service or unprofessionalism like I've dealt with with this company. But I quickly learned AT&T was trash as well so goes right along with the service AT&T is providing. Both AT&T and square trade is garbage and glad I got away from both of them.

It took me 48 days to get my claim payed. I tried to start my claim online, the emails did not match. I got a way to reset the email address, changed the email and still couldn't do a claim. Called and was brush off, I was told to do it online. It wasn't allowing me to do it online, so I asked for the manager. That's when the person on the line was able to file the claim. I got an email the next day saying I needed to file the claim with the manufacturer, because it was less than a year old. I called again, I talked to someone who was sure the manufacturer coved water damage. I read him the warranty, and made it clear the only thing that was covered was manufacture defects, not water damage. The warrant I got from there company covered loss and damage. He told me again I need to fill out the manufacturer warranty claim, I asked for the manager. It was then they were able to bypassed that steep. Next they needed a copy of the receipt. It took a total of six calls and a lot of time, but I should get my claim payed. It seems that they make it difficult so you will give up, and they don't have to pay the money. Just ask for a manager, keep calling, and ask them to send a email of what they just told you while you what on the phone with them. Keep going it's your money.

Ask for the manager, don’t let the person on the phone brush you off. If you say yes you understand and agree they can end the phone call. If you say no they have to resolve the issue you have.

My 3 yr warranty expired but since I am a Sam's club plus member I qualified for 12 additional months of coverage and they denied the extra yr.
So I purchased this most wothless of warranties on a 55" LG TV from Costco because why not? The TV, of course, failed after 3 years so I went to file a claim. I went into this assuming this would be a convoluted process simply because it's insurance, but wow, this proicess has been purposely setup so you (the consumer) will just give up. And after multiple emails and phone calls, I get to the point of sending them a requested video fo the problem happening. Well, my TV literally does nothing, so they got a video of the TV doing nothing, only to find out that its not acceptable and they need to see the problem happening.
With their latest claim of needing a new video of the problem happening, I give them yet another call just to be told that the video doesn't work. Video works just fine on my end, on multiple devices, so I send it again. She then proceeds to tell me the video is too short and in the wrong format. THEY TOLD ME TO MAKE IT LESS THAN 7 SECONDS AND IN MP4! I did exactly as they told me! Only to be told, nope, it needs to be at least 10 seconds long to be useful. At this point I am yelling through the phone and demanding to know what the next 5 hoops are just so I get jump through them in a timely manner. And that is where I have stopped so far in the process since I hung up out of sheer frustration.
This is a $500 TV, not a multiple thousand dollar piece of equipment. It should be this hard!
Amazingly enough they can't find my purchase in their system. They tell me to go online and file my claim. It's a freaking joke!
We called to schedule warranty repair on a covered refrigerator. We had entered the claim online and uploaded purchase receipt and other docs as required, and provided a description of the issue, and were notified that the claim was approved. BUT... in simply trying to get a technician scheduled, we had to call back SIX TIMES to get a representative who could actually verify our account FROM THEIR SYSTEMS ONLINE GENERATED CLAIM NUMBER, having spent almost TEN MINUTES with EACH of the first six failures. Having easily verified the account in less than a minute, the seventh rep proceeded to NOT LISTEN TO OUR DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM. After FIFTEEN MINUTES of realizing that he STILL did NOT understand that it was the secondary ice maker with the problem rather than the main ice maker, we INSISTED he just schedule a technician who could readily see the problem for himself (AND READ THE PROBLEM DESCRIPTION FROM OUR ONLINE FILING!) Waiting on hold for ANOTHER FIVE MINUTES, we finally got an appointment scheduled. We spent nearly an hour and a half trying to schedule an already approved warranty repair... REALLY glad I don't have my car insurance through an ALLSTATE company!

Bought a 65 inch TV that all the sudden stopped working. 20 days past the manufacture warranty. So when I turned it on there was no picture at all. Because they couldn't see what they wanted, in pictures or a video, that they requested for my claim, they denied the claim. They judge your claim on a photo? No technician, just a picture or video! First off you are talking to someone in a foreign country, that you can barely understand. I sent all pictures they asked for, and just kept giving me a run around about more pictures. This company is about getting your 49$ when you purchase. Sams club is where I bought it. I will not be buying anything there again since this is the warranty they sell with there TV's.- It's sad, you can't buy a real warranty anymore for something like this. Every time you buy a Drill, a microwave, even a blender at Walmart, this is the warranty your sold. And they are as worthless as the paper they are written on. It's Smart for The store you buy it in. Because now when you walk in with it to do a return, and tell them you bought the 4 year warranty, they tell you to call this company representative From bangalidash! Someone that has no intention on doing anything but giving you a runaround, and keep asking for more and more info, then telling you pictures are not clear, send more. Then tells ya that since the TV won't come on, they can't see what the problem looks is, so they deny you.The truth is they prob pay out very very few claims anyone ever tries to submit.Don't waste your money. This is a big scam! And do not believe all the reviews you read on the Website. Those are reviews written by the company. I have home owners, car, and camper insurance though Allstate. This has caused me to drop them completely!

Bought policy for new fridge at time of purchase for 5 years as ice makers are known to break and figure the $160 for 5 years was good deal as one call to repair would be more. Call and get message "You can only create a claim online" that is ridiculous!
Ok go to website and it will not let me do claim. Next call all state and forever on the phone, it refuses to give agent or representative and finally after about 10 minutes it times out and give rep. Then they took info and spend about 40 minutes and then finally they can't do anything with square trade and call them! WTF! Try calling square trade same message file online just kept pushing buttons and finally Indian woman picks up who i cannot understand at all. Accent and English language are just abysmal i just cannot understand enough to talk and realize how can i do policy info, ask for another rep 4 times and she just hangs up on me!
Now over 2 hours and finally another Indian woman who at least speaks a bit better English, long story of what? Say again? A 100 times. I give her policy number and she couldn't understand and kept messing up number, another 30 minutes finally gets it right...WTF
THEN she tells me my name and address and if it's right. Finally. Then i cannot understand what she is saying, keeps saying receipt what receipt. Puts on hold forever and a day, then some supervisor named DAVID supervisor #18, says i have to prove purchase, I am wtf you have policy number and i am on computer from purchase of 3 years ago. Now you demand a receipt of purchase? I gave them policy number and she confirmed my address, so i am on computer system, but you demand a receipt from 3 years ago that i bought online at time of buying fridge i don't have a receipt for that, then told basically no receipt no honoring insurance that is listed on their insurance system...so now having to have Costco history check and copy of purchase as its over 2 years old.
I have print out of policy number, date of start and end etc. and yet they refuse to honor because i cant show proof of purchase?

Look if you have a cell phone buy a warranty from asurion or anyone else. Yes it might cost you a bit more but believe me you will save yourself a headache you cant imagine. I filed a claim with squaretrade. Now it seems every claim filed has to go for a review which can take anywhere from 12 to 48 hours IF YOU ARE LUCKY! In my case it took almost 4 days and 3 call ins to finally get a shipping label to send my phone in for a simplistic screen repair. Now once you have the label everything moves pretty quick, It's shipped overnight, they fix it and send it back the next day. Figure at least 4 days to get your phone back once you finally have the shipping label. In my case I got my phone back but now it has no cellular service so apparently the tech who fixed it broke something or forgot to hook the cellular antenna back up. I contacted squaretrade to let them know I need to send it back in so they can fix what they broke and the real nightmare begun. I am now on day 5, the phone is still setting on my table waiting for a shipping label that has never arrived in my email. I was told my case would be escalated and I would receive the label in about 2 hours. Today was my 7th call into squaretrade with the same old lies about how were sorry for the delay, I have looked into this myself sir and you have been moved to the front of the line, look for an email in the next 24 hours. It is the worst customer experience you can have. So now I'm still sitting here waiting for a fed ex label and I have 0 confidence that it will arrive in the next 24 hours and even less then 0 confidence that my phone will even be repaired correctly.
I cannot stress this enough DO NOT USE SQUARETRADE!
