I bought a TV and good Faith. Knowing that at the time, square trade was a good and fair company about fixing any issues that you may have with electronics TV's that sort of thing, but then when my TV had an issue with having lines and all of these different colors all over the place they informed in for me. Oh, well, we no longer cover that. But that's not a me problem I feel like this company just scams people out of money to buy their warranties and don't disclose every bit of the information of what is and is not covered. I highly suggest if you have a warranty with them, I suggest you call them and get your money back because it's ridiculous. You can cancel your warranty anytime you want with them and they will, give you your money back. I highly suggest you do that because they're complete idiots over there. Not a, one of them will do anything to help you.
Square trade only communicates via emails as they do not wish to speak with claimants. Then when you call they blow smoke up your $#*!,make excuses to get your call ended. You never speak to the same person twice when you call and that person can not give you an answer. I bought a 58" RCA TV & extended Square Trade extended warranty from Walmart(Only choice you have). TV totally quit working after 2 1/2 years. Still fighting after 5 days to get any responses as to my claim. No responses to e-mails. I don't understand how Allstate can partner with such a horrendous outfit. Basically they get your money and screw you when you file a claim. Square trade does not want to part with one cent of your warranty money. Biggest scam on the planet. Sad as this is the first extended warranty I ever purchased in my 72 years on this earth. All Square Trade will do is blow smoke up your $#*! when you need them. Disgusting.

The squaretrade plan for my K800 Logitech keyboard on eBay is advertised as covering accidental damage, unless you "read more" where it contradicts its main advertisement that everyone sees when buying the product and this insurance. When you file a claim they first tell you that the product has a 1 year manufacturer warranty and you should contact them. Then you email them explaining that this is accidental damage to which they say that they do not cover this damage even thought that's exactly how it's advertised. Eventually they say they will refund you. But I would have never bought the keyboard to begin with if I understood that the insurance I was buying was fraudulent and misleading. They waste millions of people time, and steal their money, and most wouldn't even know it if their product didn't break. I would like a refund for my 30$ keyboard that they did not honor their warranty for.

So my son cracked his tablet, not even a month after having it. We also had a case on it and a tempered glass screen protector. Their 2 choices were to give me less money than it was worth or send me a new one. Well I said send me a new one, now they are trying to say they can't send me that one and now are trying to force me to take the less money option.
I have warranty with Squaretrade (Allstate) for television bought at Costco. After spending over 2 hours on the phone to report a problem with the television and being transferred to FIVE different agents, they refused to help me further. $100 wasted. DO NOT use Aquaretrade or Allstate.
I made a claim 10 months ago and they didn't want to accept it even after I gave them all details the asked for. 10 months later, after I filed a complaint on financial-ombudsman they sent me an email saying that they are willing to accept my claim and to give me an extra £500 compensation but they didn't actually gave me nothing and when I call them they're saying that I should wait for them to call me back. They never called me back. Avoi, avoid, avoid!
For over 2 yrs an $11 charge per month was being withdrawn form my checking acct! Called and threatened to reach out to Attny General in Fl and CA. Wow that got their attention: Full refund promised.
Allstate should be ashamed of being part of their scam. They said I signed up at Target but couldn't find my paperwork authorized order in 2021...BTW...I never shopped at Target.n I'm certain this is a multimillion $ scam.
I received a protection plan for a device from Amazon, to Allstate to uses Square Trade. I returned the device and followed the rules of the plan and Square Trade's website. The plan came to me thru an email. I tried to cancel the plan the next day and I was returning the device. They wanted me to send the plan back via UPS and would charge me $14.06 out of the $18.99 I paid for shipping. I refused to return the plan by UPS. A few pieces of useless paper. They refused to give me the refund. I finally convinced Amazon with proof of the instructions and their actions. They even refused Amazon. I do have a credit for the plan, but will report to anyone I can about their actions. I'm sorry I can't include images because they are not in the computer.

Had my PC die after 2 years. Filed my claim pretty easy compared to the rest of the situation. After 2 weeks from it arriving at the repair shop I began questioning about the status of my PC. Best I could get for a week was an email that said its still being looked at. After 3 weeks I complained and got a helpful online rep to push it as high priority. 2 days later I get an email saying it doesnt fit under the warranty and they are shipping it back. Its now stuck in mail since they can't even mail it back right. I assume I will never aee my PC again. 1600$ lost.

I've been working on trying to submit a claim for over 3 months I recently finally got one of the agents that said they had all the information they needed going on almost 3 weeks was told didn't have all the correct information needed to send same information all over again from personal experience wouldn't recommend them this insurance to anybodyreally feels like they're trying to discourage me from getting my item replaced and taken care of SquareTrade has not been very good at all
They continue to run you around over and over until you give up on your claim. I have talked on the phone with over 8 customer service reps and after the repair shop said its unrepairable they have no options for you. Before they got bought out I would have a check in the mail by now with the price of the phone.
Do not purchase this warranty. It does not cover or replace your items. Squaretrade is a scam. Squaretrade is not honest. Squaretrade lies. There is a reason squaretrade has 1 star reviews, because squaretrade is deceitful.

Recently, we purchased a carport from Amazon and had it insured by Square Trade. After 60 days, the frames of the carport were bent after a storm. We filed a claim with Square Trade. They wouldn't cover it, saying they didn't cover weather. Really, outdoor furniture not being covered by weather. They are just a bunch of liars and scoundrels. Amazon and Costco and all major retailers should be this despicable company. Allstate, the owner of this company, should clean house on this horrible company.
I purchased my Tv from Costco and I purchased SquarTrade I filed a claim they were giving me a hard time. They made me take pictures and videos of the TV, when I send them the information they keep telling me to send the information over and over. I regret purchasing squaretrade. I called Squaretrade about my moto g 7Power glass that was broken customer service said to fill out a clam which I did. And take your phone to a repair shop and send us the receipt we will pay you what the receipt said. The bill was for $125.41 squaretrade will only pay $115.00 because thats what the phone is worth. Consummer Cellular is sell the phone for $150.00 this is very bad business.its not a good company to deal with.
So I had my fridge go out after a little over year, hooray I have bought the warranty. I call and they say it has to be filed through the manufacturer. However, they offer reimbursement for lost food. I send pictures receipts, get it approved and processed for payment. It says you will receive payment in 6 business days.
It has literally been the "check is in the mail". It has been nearly 2 months ays, 5 phone calls to squaretrade and still no reimbursement check.
I don't understand how I can get other mail, but this check is illusive. Found out 8 days ago that my ticket escalation on July 29th was never updated, and it's now 8/18/23. I am assuming now that this escalation ticket wasn't handled.
Bought laptop at Walmart purchased insurance 3 year plan. After a few months got a Bios on it. They helped me fix it over the phone to fix it. GREAT! About month later the laptop won't power up. Called gave me claim number, sent it in. Get it back still won't light up. Called again mousepad won't work. Called again asked for check for what I paid for. Got a check for laptop only. Will not prorate warranties or refund sales tax I paid. Not a very good company to deal with!

I purchased a Magnavox Blu ray player as a gift to my father 10 months ago on ebay and a 2yr. Square Trade Electronic coverage. Today the blu ray player stopped working. So I have proper receipt of payment. Figured I'd be all set and I'd be able to replace the item or have it fixed. Nope... all games! First, the receipt picture uploaded didn't show the date they said. But It clearly did... So I resent more copies of full payment receipt... and then it was another issue, they had to "locate" the correct coverage plan because it looked like the wrong plan was used. More time wasted with emails saying nonthing... eventually got me no replacement player for my father or any resolution. What COVERAGE!

Make sure you read reviews...( Do some homework b4 u buy) I wish I did before I purchased this Allstate square trade coverage wasting $ and time.

We have been having issues with Square Trade for almost 2months! They give us the run-around, and always have excuses for why our refrigerator is not getting fixed! I have complained to BBB and ST wants us to retract our complaint or make it as if the "issue has been resolved" When it hasn't.
So upset and disappointed at their unprofessionalism, and lack of ethical practices!
Their customer service when they deal with your insurance claim is very bad and arrogant, very unpatient when you have any question regarding to the process, feels like you are begging them to process your insurance claim, never want to deal with these people again.
Why do I have to send my phone to Pakistan? I need to send my code to have the Taliban filled country download my phone's sensitive information. I refuse to do that and opted to buy a new phone instead! All State is going dangerously down hill just to save money. Look at your ratings and wake up. I am cancelling my Square Trade account..

Trade square sold me a warranty for a Bose hearing device. I sent it in to be repaired it was not repairable and discontinued They replaced it with a cheaper set of Bose earbuds noise reduction $250. Mine was a hearing device $500. They had me return them I did. I called and spoke to Kevisha they are sending back the wrong set and told me to call them when I receive them. Do what? This makes no sense.the only hearing aid bose makes with the same features is $849. Replace it with those or refund what I paid for the device you warrantied

Yesterday December the 30th I tried to upload a receipt for a new Office Depot computer warranty and the website is down I tried for an hour and a half different websites to no avail I called four or maybe even five different times and three out of the five times their customer service either hung up on me in the middle of my explaining to them what's going on or rhey just tried to transfer me to the wrong department and then I finally got to the billing department so they could help me upload the receipt they were closed. I was finally able to upload the receipt without the help of anybody from allstate/squaretrade insurance So I just want to say you guys have a $#*!ty $#*!ing attitude towards your customers

They are not reliable. I call in for a warranty on my tablet. About a month ago. They receive the payment. I got nothing. I call them to let them know that I never my warranty. Now I have to wait another 2 week before I get it in the mail they suclk
I bought a furniture from Wayfair and bought protection plan with square trade. My furniture broke and I filed a claim. It was approved and I was told I will receive gift card from them. My nightmare started right after. They send me email with gift card which I could not open. Anyways, I emailed them numerous times for over a month and called them multiple times to resolve this issue. Nothing happened. I also had Wayfair representative on the line when I spoke to Squaretrade. They kept saying that gift card was issued and cashed. We asked them to provide the email address it was sent to and proof that it was cashed. At first they said they will provide the information and then sent me an email rejetcing my claim. I would not have paid extra money to buy this protection plan if I knew I would be scammed. Stay away from this company.
