I bought a TV and good Faith. Knowing that at the time, square trade was a good and fair company about fixing any issues that you may have with electronics TV's that sort of thing, but then when my TV had an issue with having lines and all of these different colors all over the place they informed in for me. Oh, well, we no longer cover that. But that's not a me problem I feel like this company just scams people out of money to buy their warranties and don't disclose every bit of the information of what is and is not covered. I highly suggest if you have a warranty with them, I suggest you call them and get your money back because it's ridiculous. You can cancel your warranty anytime you want with them and they will, give you your money back. I highly suggest you do that because they're complete idiots over there. Not a, one of them will do anything to help you.
Square trade only communicates via emails as they do not wish to speak with claimants. Then when you call they blow smoke up your $#*!,make excuses to get your call ended. You never speak to the same person twice when you call and that person can not give you an answer. I bought a 58" RCA TV & extended Square Trade extended warranty from Walmart(Only choice you have). TV totally quit working after 2 1/2 years. Still fighting after 5 days to get any responses as to my claim. No responses to e-mails. I don't understand how Allstate can partner with such a horrendous outfit. Basically they get your money and screw you when you file a claim. Square trade does not want to part with one cent of your warranty money. Biggest scam on the planet. Sad as this is the first extended warranty I ever purchased in my 72 years on this earth. All Square Trade will do is blow smoke up your $#*! when you need them. Disgusting.
I think withAllstate Square Trades not wanting to accept legit reviews on their own websites on Google, and paying Google to block them tells the whole story. They have deep pockets and they get deeper with the help Google and all the other internet giants, two very sad companies

They cover it through All State Insurance, bad choice.
I've been dealing with these incompetent fools for days on end.
I provide what they require, and I receive an e-mail saying that it's not correct. Do yourself a favor step away from them as far as possible.

the run around even though I've explained to them over and over again that I have a brain injury , and that I have no other source of communication or reliable neighbors. I also informed them that I need to contact EMT in case of an Emergency or accident.
All I continue to receive after providing the information required is proof of the same information in have already provided them with.

We bought a n extended warranty on an LG OLED 55" tv for 4 years it expires 4/07/2022. The picture has a distortion of the color in the middle of the screen and after sending all the information to Allstate (they bought square trade) they will not honor my warranty because they say that it is caused by a static image on the screen or having the brightness too high. I would think twice before you put your hard earned money into the outreached good hands. Here are some pictures. By the way we are 73 and 74 do you thing we do anything more than watch tv?

We purchased a power washer 3 years ago and also purchased the SquareTrade warranty. Last Tuesday it quit. We called the toll free number and talked to an agent. Yes, we were on the phone for almost an hour but at the end of the call we were told we would receive a check since there are no repair centers within a 100 miles. And yes we received an email the next day needing much of the same info we gave over the phone. The main problem was our current email address had changed since we bought the power washer. Once we responded to the email we received another email stating a check would be cut. We received a check in the mail yesterday, Saturday, for the full amount less tax.
We will absolutely purchase an extended warranty again from Square Trade. Word of warning... be sure and keep ALL your paperwork including invoices for your purchases.

Do not waste your money. They talked me thru a factory reset which was about the 10th one I have done myself. Then they advised me to call vizio is it doesn't work. No repair or replacement of the tv. A total rip off! Wish I could give a negative review
Had Square Fade for a laptop purchased at Staples, spilled soda on it and no questions asked got a new laptop. Now, after buying a Hard Drive on eBay, I can't get an answer as to why I never got my Email contract. :/. It's sad but usually, this type of turn for the worst happens just before the company goes under. Why Allstate bought this company is beyond me. But expect your Allstate insurances to go up for the $1.4b they just flushed down the toilet. Oh, and BTW, eBay no longer backs Square Trade if you have an issue.

Keep postponing the problem after email claims it would take 2 business days to complete the process. Called many times trying to acquire an agent who can help me and look over my receipts sent to them. After speaking with a supervisor, I am told to wait till the end of the day or the next business day; it has now been three or four business days.
Sadly, Staples has chosen this company to deal with its customer support. Taking two steps back and one step forward.
800 number for squaretrade says to file all claims on line. Web site does not work to file claims, terrible web site.
When I finally got a hold of somebody, they did not speak good English and they Gave me conflicting information about how they are going to make good on my claim.
Now they are delaying me again by asking for more information which they already have. Lousy claim service.

Oversea customer rep closed the claim without resolving the issue. Tablet overheating; emitting burning odor - Fire hazard. Agent ask to do factory reset and disappeared for 5 days then closed the claim without any communication. Walmart need to find another warranty partner that provide better service. Don't buy any item that has Squaretrade as a warranty protection plan - there's none.
I have had three minor claims in the past year for used items purchased from Ebay. Squaretrade insurance was purchased at time via Ebay. In all cases they tried to tell me it was a manufacturer's warranty issue... BS, these items were years out of their warranty. Their policy is to delay till you get tired...& not pay claim.
Each case was finally paid by threatening to file small claims case against AllState. In my case I would do it. Just keep at it...

On their website it says you can transfer a warranty to someone else. Did that online and all hell broke loose! I call 15 times told to submit receipts, over and over again. Then said warranty don't match the item. Of course it doesn't it was transfer to a friend to use! Seems like they purposely make you mad and don't care. They don't listen and follow a script. Do not take notes from previous calls so you have to start over. Never got a claim filed. Wasted my money!
I bought a new mech marvel generator from homo depot, lasted less than 20 running hours, square trade said they would reimburse me $414.96. So far the money has not been in the mail, 2 times now we are going for the third time, if it was a damned bill they would have got it to me the first time, Square trade a division of Allstate your NOT In good hands, your dealing with liar's. The generator after I drain the oil Might make a better boat anchor.

This review deals with never receiving a policy, number, ID, nothing! Nothing but the same email that recognizes my email, just to let me know how deeply I'm being thought of. Did you know that this insurance is not endorsed by ebay? They'll sell it without a problem, but no protection. Pirates forming a union here; how many big names will you be screwed by this year?
Just bad. You talk with people in India or somewhere that causes a huge communication breakdown while you are frustrated. We bought this tv from sams with the protection plan and were given the run-around for hours. Just go to a reputable electronics store that handles warranties in house and do your business. This All-State (Square Trade) company stuff is for the birds. #neveragain!
I've bought square trade for many online purchases over the years, but have not had to file a claim until this year. It should have been straight forward, the product was purchased, used only a handful of times and stopped working. I filed a claim online, but never heard back. A few weeks later I called & after several incorrect transfers, went over every purchase detail and was told a check would be mailed out. After a month I realized I never got it. I sent an email and asked them to void and resend a new check. Once they responded, they said 5 business days. I waited a few more weeks and still no check. I honestly don't believe in the almost 4 months of fighting with them, that I will receive a reimbursement. I know it is only $29 they were going to send, but I will keep fighting, it's the principle!
If I could give negative stars I would. Process designed to frustrate and prolong in the hopes you give up. They will have you repeat the troubleshooting process several times with several different people over month long ordeal just to get a fraction of the value to replace your broken item. I swear Xavier ( the last person I spoke to) must be getting a kick back for the amount of money he saves square trade. Never again and I hope this is a warning for someone in the future.
What a waste of time. Long drawn out process with little results. By the time you actually get through the online process then call be transferred all over. Told them I did everything they requested and then they wanted me to do it over the phone wipe the Tv clean and put all the info back in for a 3rd time when the Tv is just shot. I would have given a minus score if possible. I had been working with them to honor my warranty for 3+months, easily 20 correspondence via email and phone. Plan to be on the phone 30 minutes each time before even speaking to someone! They continued to ask for the same pictures, receipts and warranty numbers even after they email me it was received. They dont want to pay and I believe they think they can where you down. They have decided they won't honor my warranty (11/07)because it was outside the 90 purchase they require. I started this process in August and now, 11/22/22 they are delaying the return of an invalid warranty. Remodeling my house from mold was easier than this! HORRIBLE COMPANY!

Took warrant on masonry bit set. After using for 35 days three bits are done. Put in for warranty, squaretrade said no deal that manufacture warranty still on it. The manufacture is china and no way to contact them and when purchsed, it said nothing about warranty. So squaretrade does this to make money. Never buy there warranties, it is a rip off

Purchased an extended warranty for a GE refrigerator. First challenge was deciding if it was a GE warranty or SquareTrade claim. SquareTrade eventually approved the work by a GE factory tech, but now won't pay. They keep rejecting my receipts, either saying they look altered or don't contain sufficient information, hoping I'll give up.
If you file 2 or more claims they deny your claim and you can't get in touch with them. Why pay for a warranty if you cant use it.? You can never tell when something is going to break. Horrible service and no one can tell you anything they have to wait days for an email.
You buy the plan think your item is covered it takes months to get anywhere. Then they tell you oh here is a gift card sorry we couldnt fix your item not worth it. I dint pay with a gift card what in the world is this. I would like to find out what can be done about this

Your not in good hands with All State (square trade) They rejected my claim on a Tablet. Battery not charging, keeps crashing. They say to reset it to factory settings. Um DahhhIIIII. Ive been around long enough to know resetting does not help the battery. BUT I did do all the tricks I can think of and what Square Trade said to do. Even before the mentioned it. I had my Tab for almost 3 years and now its dying
