Despite the horrible negative comments I have read for 3 days, I still decided to give ssense a shot since only they have the shoes I want to buy with such a steal price. Anxiety starts hitting me after I started the order. The next day came, when I tracked the other, it was already there, at the front of my door. Excellent packaging, excellent quality and super fast, the best online order I have ever experienced before. Recommend you guys give them a chance.

“Awful buying experience and even worse Customer Service”

Ordered an $800 designer belt and it arrived in nothing but a kitchen ziplock bag thrown into a battered cardboard shipping box. Contacted their customer service to complain and received an extremely rude, argumentative, and deflective reply saying they were doing it for environmental and sustainability purposes. You guys are full of BS if you think you can convince anyone your idea of environmental packaging is by using PLASTIC ziplock bags. Let's not try to act like there aren't thousands of brands who have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging options. You guys just want to cut corners and save a few bucks on packaging all the while blaming the designers "for how they shipped it to you" as if there aren't tons of other luxury outlets that offer their own in-house packaging (I can think of 5 just in Canada). Don't market yourselves as a luxury company when you offer such a terrible buying experience and horrific customer service.

Did not understand the representative that I was connected with. I had to call in again and speak to someone else that I understood clearly. There was a long process with the defected item where pictures had to be sent AND THEN verified through the warehouse department. THEN a return label would then be issued. Very lengthy and time consuming as you only have a couple of days under the return policy even though I contacted the customer service department the same day that I received the item. Response time frame from the representative was very slow too.

Hesitant to buy such a expensive jacket online without even trying it on if it fits. Thankfully their return policy is awesome. It ended up coming in 3 Days and it fit just right as Im in between a small and medium. So the Medium fit was right. Didnt have to return it within 7 days for a full refund with no shipping loss. Great system. Will cop in the future again.

I ordered a set of issey miyake suit and ssense wants me to verify my order. They charged me a small amount and want me to email to them about the exact amount so my purchase can be verified. After one day they ask me about a six digit code with that small amount. I provided all the info they needed correctly, yet they cannot verify my purchase in the end. So they cancelled my order. What a waste of time!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use it unless you have an American card

The order came in a very timely manner, packaged nicely and padded well. The only complaint I had was the tags that were supposed to come with the garment were detached and the Zip Tie tag not included, not entirely sure why.

This may be the worst place to purchase things online. I got a pair of golden goose for my boyfriend for Christmas and they sent me TWO SHOES FOR THE RIGHT FOOT! It took me weeks to be able to finally get someone on the phone that could help me which was ridiculous to start off. Once I found somebody she told me she would do an exchange for me and once I return the shoes and the warehouse receives them they will send me out a left and right shoe. She also gave me 10 percent off the shoes and shipping. So we began emailing. My return was received two weeks ago and I still do not have my shoes. It has been a month since my order and my emails are now getting ignored. They have my money and I have no shoes. You guys sent me two right foot shoes. Like are you kidding. That should be a issue that is priority and taken care of immediately

I had ordered a bag costing almost $800 from ssense and it came with a defect. It came in terrible packaging (a literal plastic bag with my item inside). I had contacted customer service and they only offered $10 to fix my bag. Seriously? $10? After that I was going to return the bag so I had checked the return slip and the value was $100 less than what I had paid. Meaning I was going to be refunded $100 less than what I paid for THEIR mistake. I was extremely appalled with the service from such a big company and will not be shopping here again. I am absolutely disgusted with the way they handled their customer service to me and unethical behaviours of hiding the fact they only offered $10 on such a big defect.

I am currently in the process of waiting for management to call me back. I have a bill from the Post Master for $313.00 for a garment that was sent to me from ssense. The customer service person said if an item is over $800.00 the client receiving it MUST pay the customs bill. ( I sent the item back prior to receiving the bill). She said it may not have been explained at checkout and for that she did apologize.

I am livid.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! I ordered some 11 by BBS boots from them and they shipped me regular Salomon boots switched out into a BBS box. They ripped me off and their customer service is trash that never responds to emails. They ripped me off for $400. I will never buy from this place ever again. Other places have fixed their screw ups within a day this type of behavior from a big retailer is unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere. Photos show what I recieved vs. What was on their site.

Updates:
1. This place then barely responded to anything.
2. Had me send their fake/wrong shoes back to them.
3. Dragged their feet in responding until the date when the ability to make a claim through paypal was about to expire.
4. THEN responded that since I filed through paypal they couldn't do anything.

Now they have their fake shoes to send to someone else and my money. Literally nothing short of thieves. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I placed an order that, when tracked for shipping, never moved beyond the initial shipping date. After multiple conversations with customer service over a three (3) week period, I initiated a credit card dispute. I was successful in the credit card dispute, and JP Morgan Chase issued a full refund. When I ordered again from Ssense, they cancelled my order because of this. I would highly recommend Farfetch, Neiman Marcus, Saks, and Bergdorf Goodman in lieu of the deplorable service Ssense provides.

I made a purchase from this website on May 20,2022, today is June 9th, they have not shipped my order nor have they refunded me my money back! I have emailed several times, talked to robots and all but all i have gotten is the customer service tactics! Don't shop here i would recommend you shop at saks, neimans, or farfetch! This site is a rip off!

I placed the order to buy a shirt with express shipping. The order was processed for 10 days. I called their customer service and they said my order got expedited. Then after another 3 days, the order was cancelled saying out of stock. They offered me a 10% discount but has to contact with customer service to get the code. What a waste of time. Will never visit again.

They have the worst customer service - they sold me broken wine glasses, gave me the run around for a month, and will not refund me. I have been such a good customer of this company. They also sold me damaged boots and as a "compromise" charged me a restocking fee. Be VERY careful when purchasing items from this company - they have gone totally down hill. Used to be an elegant store - now it's just like a warehousing mamoth that sells damaged goods and treats its customers like crap. I NEVER spend the time to write reviews but I am absolutely outraged.

Document everything - don't buy expensive items

I recently purchased two pairs of jeans on sale. Both pairs of jeans were defective products with ripped seams and ripped/unsown button holes. This was not communicated anywhere on-site before purchase.

I packed both jeans for a business trip and was forced to wear them as I had no other clothing. As a result of tags being removed and items being worn, I was not able to return the items.

I will never shop at SSENSE again, and will advocate that others avoid using your site.

A company with a terrible customer service, there's no customer service phone number, they don't answer your emails, and your order will not be guaranteed to reach. So there's lot of another options online. Don't waist your time and money with them,at the end you'll be happy that you disputed the charges.

Tip for consumers:
Use a different company they're terribly in customer service.

I ordered a pair of shoes from SSENSE, my order was cancelled by the site for a reason, I do not know why. However, my account was still charged! It has been 3 days and I have not been refunded! I would not recommend this site to anyone. The service is horrible.

I loved my Valentino slides, however the size was too big and therefore I ordered a new pair off the website. Unfortunately I had to pay £20 to send them back. If I had known this I would have not made another purchase of the alternative size.

I recently bought an item and it literally took this company 3 weeks to ship it! Despite of paying for EXPEDITE shipping which is normally 2-3 days guarantee delivery. Also they sent me a DAMAGED item! From what i've seen on other's people reviews, apparently this company sells used or damaged items! Avoid buying from here..

Had a horrible experience with buying from ssense
Would never buy from again

Endless delays in shipping, charged express shipping, but held my package and they didnt even know what happen, then lost 3 pairs of my shoes and I was told because they couldnt find it. They never informed me of anything. I had to do all the work while overseas, emailing, calling trying to get things right, while they still couldnt find the lost 3 pairs of shoes that Ive paid for. It was my very first purchase from this company and it was a nightmare from the start

I shipped and returned an item that was $1500 and they claimed they never received it. Even though Canada post tracking showed delivered and signature was available from receiving end. The company even sent a confirmation email stating my return was confirmed and that it would taken 5 business days. I never received my money back

While I like the clothing offered at ssense and they are reasonable to deal with regarding my return, I cannot recommend shopping with them if you live in the U.S. In addition to paying the shipping cost to my home, which was a reasonable $10, I had to pay $41 to ship a single item of clothing back to Canada. A waste of $51.
