Despite the horrible negative comments I have read for 3 days, I still decided to give ssense a shot since only they have the shoes I want to buy with such a steal price. Anxiety starts hitting me after I started the order. The next day came, when I tracked the other, it was already there, at the front of my door. Excellent packaging, excellent quality and super fast, the best online order I have ever experienced before. Recommend you guys give them a chance.

“Awful buying experience and even worse Customer Service”

Ordered an $800 designer belt and it arrived in nothing but a kitchen ziplock bag thrown into a battered cardboard shipping box. Contacted their customer service to complain and received an extremely rude, argumentative, and deflective reply saying they were doing it for environmental and sustainability purposes. You guys are full of BS if you think you can convince anyone your idea of environmental packaging is by using PLASTIC ziplock bags. Let's not try to act like there aren't thousands of brands who have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging options. You guys just want to cut corners and save a few bucks on packaging all the while blaming the designers "for how they shipped it to you" as if there aren't tons of other luxury outlets that offer their own in-house packaging (I can think of 5 just in Canada). Don't market yourselves as a luxury company when you offer such a terrible buying experience and horrific customer service.

SSENSE sells their products in Japan.
But they do not even have customer service agents.
The customers do not even understand what they ask to do because the messages are written in English.

They are not even capable to hire Jp, they never make efforts, this company... my Jp friends gave up buying their products.
GOOD CHOICE, I am proud of you!

Dont order from them!

After waiting for weeks for my order to be shipped... i had to find out, via my account, that they canceled my order, without even telling me that!

And this is after customer service, every day... during these weeks i was waiting..., told me they see my order and it will be shipped very soon...

I bought shoes from here when i got them they were tight so i called and told them its tight in the front i would like to return them and i told them i dont have the box and they said its ok so i returend them after a week i got i phone call that they cant take it its worn but i never did i explained but i went no where with them i would never buy again from them.

Canceled the order before it even shipped out.
But the order shipped anyway. (Can't be mad about prompt shipping I guess.)
But now I have to wait for the item to land, then I have to wait for SSENSE to receive the item back, then wait a few more days after that for a return to be processed.
Approximately 3 weeks for a refund.

I purchased a Faye small bag in red and I received it with defects, I sent pics thru email and asked them for a replacement, they told me tho color already sold out. When I called them, the guy who answered my phone said actually they received addition stock, and they told me they gonna put aside for me, I was so glad actually, but I waited for one whole, I haven't gotten more responds from them, so I made the phone call again, and the lady told me the addition stock already gone, I was like wtf? You suppose to keep one for me, but she said oh I contact to the person who works for the stock department, but he's too busy to see the email. $#*! U ssense, $#*! u

I placed the order on Aug 20th and still haven't received the item. Our family was on vacation in August and came back to town on 26th. Didn't Find the package and called Ssense right away. I was told by SSENSE representative DHL is going to call me to get it resolved, but today is Sept 5th, NO one called me. I was charged over $400 without receiving anything! This is ridiculous!

After paying a flat €22 for shipping cost which is a total rip-off, SSENSE managed to send my item in the wrong size! I contacted an agent and they told me I should wait for 3 days. 3 days later, two hours of waiting just to interact with an agent who takes 30mins to respond and as he was about to complete the refund, he left the chat without saying a word! I have tried live chat again and I was transferred to no new customer agent.

THIS IS A WARNING: Stay away from this website!

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this website at all cost and vent to other with affordable shipping and better customer service. You will most likely get ripped off.

I made my first purchase here for a moncler jacket. The payment was straight forward and the process was great. I never shopped here before but I get emails frequently for new products they receive. The items they receive is great and very fashion forward. But I do wish I get a earlier email for limited products like yeezy sneakers. Most of the time when I try to purchase them the site is frozen or it sold out even before I get the email. Anyhow hopefully next time I am fast enough for those sneakers and I would definitely buy here again for my future purchases!

I ordered a dress for my wife and a week later they told me they checked all of their warehouses to find out that the dress was not available in a large. I went back on their website and saw the dress was available in a XL so I called prior to placing the order thinking this dress was not available either. When speaking to the representative what I believed came true. The dress in the XL was not available either. As a first time customer I don't think I will ever deal with SSENSE again.

On the website it didn't mention anything about the extra fee that would be added, so I payed for express dilivery then was charged an extra £45 for the service on dilivery. If I had of known this before I wouldn't have purchased the product.

I have been shopping at SSENSE since 2008, when it first opened,,!
There customer-service was good then and now it's at Platinum status!
NO OTHER RETAILER/ON LINE STORE COMES CLOSE!
A regular priced item ships with perfection as well as a sale price item ships at perfection!
Open 24 hours a day you're online shopping could not be easier I've never had any issues I have only great things to say about this whole company and their philosophy!

You won't have to hear due to pandemic your orders will be delayed or you don't have to call UPS or Canada post and get false information here you'll get all the right information

A rich Chinaman owns several of these 'companies' like StyleWe, Rose-Something and multiple other scammy businesses. The viewer sees adorable pix lifted from the Net somewhere and then his maltreated, unskilled laborers try to produce knockoffs. When enough people get wise to one of his business names, he adds another. Ever notice that the model's face is never shown in the ads? That's a red flag telling you that the company is not legit. Don't buy from any of them.

I bought my friend a Jacquemus purse from SSENSE and didn't open it before giving it to her (because it was a gift) and at her birthday dinner I embarrassingly realized they sent the correct bag in the wrong colourway. I emailed their customer service to rectify the situation, thinking they would make an exchange easy since it was their fault and I provided all the requested proof. They told me I'd have to return the bag (keep in mind a refund will take several days AFTER shipping it out) and then buy the correct product, which was by then NOT on sale - and they did not offer to price match or offer any sort of compensation even though it was their mistake. Won't shop here again, terrible customer service policies in place.

Spend your money at Revolve their policies are way better and their customer service reps actually treat you like a friend

This is a horrible complany to shop with! I've literally had the worst experience Ever! This company is running a scam! Ive made my first ever purchase with SSENCE and never received my order. Every time Ive contacted customer support about my order, there was a different excuse. Please stay away from this company it's a scam!

Im a big shopper, Im known on social media for my clothing and my style. So i always buy my love ones stuff they wont usually purchase them self. Such as the 2 balencaga sock trainers i orderedy mother and little sister for Xmas. So i ordered them and my comfirmation said it will come in the day after Xmas. That was find with me because i had purchased them more then one gift. The sneakers did not arrive until after January 18th. I order from this website a lot and i just think its horrible and inconvenient that no one was able to email me and tell me my packages were going to be late or when i emailed the company several times no one had an answer for me.

During COVID I ordered Nike bikeshorts from Ssense. Upon receipt I tried on the shorts and they gave me a rash so I sent them back to return. The tags were cut off but the item wasn't worn for more than a couple of minutes. Upon receiving the item they told me that they will issue me a refund, but deduct $18 as a mysterious restocking fee, which is basically half of the price of the shorts. When I asked why such a fee I got a very rude threatening email from a customer service representative telling me that this is all they would do and threaten to decline refunding me all together.

I will never buy from SSense ever again.

I have been hunting for a pack pack large enough to fit my laptop and Saint Laurent has a product sold under the product name "Giant City Backpack" which is 47 cm high (18,5 inches). As of now it only comes in canvas on the ysl website. Interestingly enough SSENSE is selling a product labelled "Giant City" in leather. After a week of back and forth emailing with SSENSE they confirm that the product is in fact the normal size and not the "Giant" I receive this email:

"Thank you for your feedback.
We will consider to update the product description if that was confusing you. We thank you for pointing out the issue.
With that being said, you may use the measurements provided in the previous email to help with your decision making.
I hope these measurement information helps, if you need further help, please let me know."

In my opinion this is not only a very strange response, everyone can make mistakes, but with this they now also confirm that they are stating false product information on purpose. I can only imagine the problems that can occur if you actually shop with them. Seeing the other reviews online this is a trend from them.

UPDATE
So, I finally returned the shoes and they did not bother refunding me the initial shipping fee. Why is the customer being forced to pay for shipping of defective merchandise? What rubbish. I sent them a private message via the site and they just ignored me. Clearly, they don't bother about customer service. Lesson learnt, STAY AWAY FROM SSENSE. What a dodgy site.

Bought KENZO sneakers from the SSENSE sale. Wanted to return them as they were too big. When I was packing the shoes, I realised that they were defective, the rubber labels on the tongue were ripped in several very noticeable spots. Contacted customer service and they offered me a 10% discount. What?! Googled and found this site, looks like several people have had the same horrible experience shopping with them... I refuse to shop with SSENSE ever again. What a disappointing experience!

WOULD HAVE GIVEN 0 STARS IF I COULD.

I purchased a bikini on 1/10. I have had phenomenal experiences with this company in the past, and I expected this to be no different. I received the package on the 13th (super fast shipping), and when I opened the package, only half of the swimsuit was there. I immediately emailed and called and they said they would get back to me. On the 13th. Fast forward to the 20th and there is still no resolution of the matter. I called again, and they expressed that they would not be able to send me the MISSING part of my bikini that I ordered. I have to return the TOP HALF of my bikini to get a refund on the item. They wouldn't even send a replacement in the meantime, even though I had indicated that the purchase was time sensitive for a beach trip next week. Will not be purchasing again or recommending this store.

Unfortunately, as a long term SSENSE customer, I have found their customer service to be consistently and significantly of substandard quality. Moreover, the only available communication method with SSENSE's customer service staff is via email or a chat option. Additionally, the representatives appear to lack necessary knowledge and skills specific to consumer law and rights, and thus, are unable to appropriately address and resolve problematic customer transactions pursuant to SSENSE's "breach of advertised processing and shipment policies". Shame on SSENSE for their their non-compliance with their merchant designated policies and ongoing failure to ensure consumers are recipients of quality and lawful customer service!
