Despite the horrible negative comments I have read for 3 days, I still decided to give ssense a shot since only they have the shoes I want to buy with such a steal price. Anxiety starts hitting me after I started the order. The next day came, when I tracked the other, it was already there, at the front of my door. Excellent packaging, excellent quality and super fast, the best online order I have ever experienced before. Recommend you guys give them a chance.

“Awful buying experience and even worse Customer Service”

Ordered an $800 designer belt and it arrived in nothing but a kitchen ziplock bag thrown into a battered cardboard shipping box. Contacted their customer service to complain and received an extremely rude, argumentative, and deflective reply saying they were doing it for environmental and sustainability purposes. You guys are full of BS if you think you can convince anyone your idea of environmental packaging is by using PLASTIC ziplock bags. Let's not try to act like there aren't thousands of brands who have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging options. You guys just want to cut corners and save a few bucks on packaging all the while blaming the designers "for how they shipped it to you" as if there aren't tons of other luxury outlets that offer their own in-house packaging (I can think of 5 just in Canada). Don't market yourselves as a luxury company when you offer such a terrible buying experience and horrific customer service.

I don't usually leave reviews as I have a pretty high tolerance when it comes to mistakes that can happen in life. However, this has been a nightmare of an experience for me. I ordered an item that said in stock on their website for my friend's birthday gift. After a month of waiting an seeing my order status never changed, I decided to contact their customer service. Note that no one has contacted me until I reached out. The customer care told me that they couldn't locate my item in the warehouse and will have to cancel the order and offered me 15% off my next purchase.
I decided to let it go and placed another order since I thought the discount was a decent gesture for their mistake. My second order was never fulfilled AGAIN after two weeks of waiting and they sent me the exact same email.

I'm not sure if they think 15% off is an amazing offer that will help people to forget about their problems but my time is way more valuable and the time wasted on this single purchase and website was like no other in my entire online shopping experiences.

Definitely would not recommend for anyone

We are from the UK and I bought a hoodie for my son from SSENSE and unfortunately it was far too big, so sent it back and ordered another one which was the correct size. My refund was processed within a week. It was expensive to send back to Canada from the uk which isn't down to SSENSE but may be a returns service for U. K. Customers would be good at a reasonable cost?

I understand this isn't Ssense's fault, but I have an issue with the socks I purchased. Terrible quality, after one wear, they no longer look like $95 socks. Threads are loose and coming undone.

Bought Y-3 bag from the SSENSE sale. I opened the box and see a big crack and scratches in the middle of the leather strip. Contacted customer service and they offered me a 10% discount. What?! Googled and found this site, looks like several people have had the same horrible experience shopping with them... I refuse to shop with SSENSE ever again. What a disappointing experience!

WOULD HAVE GIVEN 0 STARS IF I COULD.

AVOID this company the parcel that I received was empty, sent them pictures and yet they refuse to investigate/show any evidence that they actually sent the item. They also refuse to take any responsibility and I would really hate for someone else to experience this so please use Saks or Holt Renfrew but not them as their customer service is appalling and unprofessional.

Worst customer service and organization. I had a couple of incidents with packages i ordered. First, they sent me a skirt instead of the bracelet I ordered. Second time I ordered Balenciaga sunglasses and i received the case empty with no glasses. Imagine how can you trust a company like this. I was advised to place the order and ask to put it on "hold" and request photos of the items before they ship them. This time I was extra carful and took a video of the package while opening it. Again, one item is missing even though they sent me pictures of the 4 items I ordered. HOW CAN YOU TRUST A COMPANY LIKE THIS. STOP BUYING. I'm not sure what's going on but I'm taking legal actions on fraud.

I had an utterly unacceptable return experience with SSENSE that left me feeling frustrated and mistreated. After purchasing an item from them and returning it in pristine condition, I was shocked when SSENSE falsely accused me of damaging the item and refused my return. I had even provided photographic evidence proving its impeccable condition at the time of return. To make matters worse, SSENSE's customer service failed to address my concerns and provide a fair resolution. I have escalated the issue to my credit card company, and I strongly caution others to reconsider shopping with SSENSE due to their false accusations and lackluster customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Keep every piece of evidence you can have. Photo, video and voice memo with consent.

Shopping at SSENSE is always an easy process in my opinion. Other companies should be worried about the underdog of the culture for the culture. So many SSENSE Exclusives for such a young company, I might as well call it collaborations. The overall aesthetic & look reminds me of Apple & I like it.

Actually, it is a amazing experience I have never been on the online shopping. There are many choices for the products and I can choose the most faourite one. Awful customer service.

Ordered some Aesop gift sets during their Black Friday sale. Placed the order on November 28,2022 - I received an email stating they had an overwhelming amount of orders come in during their sale which would inevitably cause some delays. Okay, fine.

One to two weeks later, no updates from them. Checked the status of my order through their website and it still said "preparing shipment." Sent an email to their "Customer Care" and received an automated (useless) chatbot response. Responded to their auto email in hopes that a CS Rep would respond... nope. Instead, I receive an email that says the server timed out or some bull$#*! like that.

The week of Christmas (three weeks past the order date and no updates on the website and I received no email from SSENSE)... I sent an email to cancel my order. No response. Started a new email to cancel my order, again, and FINALLY got a response.

Not sure if they responded because I raised this issue with my credit card company - no way in hell I'm going to let this scam of a company take my money.

If you've been kept in waiting - DISPUTE this transaction with your credit card company.

Also, just for laughs, because this is comedy at its finest:

"As a courtesy of the inconvenience, we are offering you a 15% discount (with a maximum discount value of $150) on your next purchase with us."

LOL. $#*! off. Do they think I'm dumb enough to go through that whole entire ordeal again? No thanks, I'd rather pay full price from a legitimate company.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't even try purchasing anything from them - save your time, anxiety, and money

I have sent polyvore two requests for support as currently when you try and clip from Internet you cannot save an image as the image you go to clip only shows about 1/6 th of the image so you cannot view the save the button, therefore you are unable to clip, this is on the iPad, I cannot work out how to clip from the laptop with the new set up and again no one from Polyvore will answer my question?

In December 2019 I ordered a pair of shoes and glasses Which I've never received, I did get a tracking number and months later it says not delivered. I called SSENCE and they didn't give me any information Just told me to wait for it, i waited another week or so nothing with the tracking changed. I then disputed with pay pal i won the dispute and got a refund after a month or so later in which i still haven't received items( thank god i used Pay Pal). So now i decide to try them one more time cause i actually love looking at stuff on their site and they cancelled my ordered and said I couldn't shop with then due to shipping issues as if it was my fault or i did something wrong.

Avoid at all cost! I shipped back 2 gucci belts in one box and the return was only processed for one belt. I emailed ssense multiple times and nothing was done on their end. They claim that they never received the second belt even though they were shipped back in the same package. When the belts came, there were no gucci boxes, just put into dust bags with lots of wrapping paper inside the shipping bag. I suspect when the belts were returned, the warehouse worker saw one dust bag/belt and didn't bother to look underneath the pile of wrapping papers to See that there is a second belt/dust bag inside the box. After almost a month of meaningless correspondence with their customer rep, I had to file a credit card dispute with my credit card company. Seems to be there is a lack of controls in place at their warehouse. There were so many yelp reviews from customers complaining about the same issues (fake items, lost returns, bad quality, pre owned sold as new). I personally work in the areas of risks and controls and I can definitely tell, from the massive amount of issues reported on yelp plus my own experience, that ssense warehouse controls are broken and cost so many missing items. Ssense then blames these control deficiencies onto the customers when it is suppose to be their own responsibilities. Avoid at all cost no matter how enticing their price may be.

They claim to have sent the package via FEDEX. The package was not delivered as i wasnt home and suddenly later that day FEDEX marked it delivered 3 hours after not delivering. FEDEX never attempts delivery twice in a day. This is a scam between SSENSE and the courier. Probably fake listings and they always scam ppl. Worst customer support as well. STAY AWAY. Zero Stars if i could rate them so.

When I try to purchase and checkout I ALWAYS have difficulty whether it be with paypal or card. For example the yeezy releases I always encounter errors such as adding sizes that are out of stock or whatnot.

I was on a vacation in Canada and decided to order something from their website. I ordered it on 7 July at 9 AM and decided to pay for Priority Shipping since it said that it will arrive in 1 day. The next day comes and there is nothing. I message support and they apologize to me and reassure me that it will be shipped that night (7th July) and that I would get a refund for the priority shipping upcharge. In the meantime, I have a flight on 9 July and I have to leave Toronto in the late afternoon.

At midnight on 7th July, the package has not yet been shipped. I contact support and they first try to tell me that the priority shipping is 2 days and not 1 day as it said on the checkout page.

Then when I tell them that I want to get it delivered to another address within Canada but they tell me that it is not possible and that they will be able to deliver my package to the previous address on 11th July (long after I have already left)

do not use it

Made purchase in January and now find out the items are sold out. Their inventory control doesn't exist. They don't know what they have or don't have in their inventory so what shows as available, you make the purchase only to find out 2-months later that the item is sold out. If I would have known this I would have purchased from another vendor who is now sold out on the same items. They offered 10% discount on full price item that expires in 30 days... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR.
