Despite the horrible negative comments I have read for 3 days, I still decided to give ssense a shot since only they have the shoes I want to buy with such a steal price. Anxiety starts hitting me after I started the order. The next day came, when I tracked the other, it was already there, at the front of my door. Excellent packaging, excellent quality and super fast, the best online order I have ever experienced before. Recommend you guys give them a chance.
Ordered an $800 designer belt and it arrived in nothing but a kitchen ziplock bag thrown into a battered cardboard shipping box. Contacted their customer service to complain and received an extremely rude, argumentative, and deflective reply saying they were doing it for environmental and sustainability purposes. You guys are full of BS if you think you can convince anyone your idea of environmental packaging is by using PLASTIC ziplock bags. Let's not try to act like there aren't thousands of brands who have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging options. You guys just want to cut corners and save a few bucks on packaging all the while blaming the designers "for how they shipped it to you" as if there aren't tons of other luxury outlets that offer their own in-house packaging (I can think of 5 just in Canada). Don't market yourselves as a luxury company when you offer such a terrible buying experience and horrific customer service.
It seems that SSENSE doesn't care about these bad reviews but I'll add mine anyway. I tried ordering a Mackage coat for my daughter who picked it out for her Christmas gift and sent me the link for this site. I have never heard of them before but we routinely purchase high end items from Saks, Barney's Bloomingdales etc. The order was canceled with every card I used debit as well as credit. I placed the order with customer service reps on the phone expressing my frustration. They consistently claimed that their 3rd party verifies the orders and they cannot over ride a decline. I called my bank after placing each order and they assured me that they see the charge in approved status and all my shipping and billing information on their files match those of the order. My bank said if the vendor declines the purchase they are doing so for their "own reasons". The only reason my son suggests, is that they are profiling where we live and if it's an area notorious for fraud then they are declining to deliver here. This is a form of racial profiling and this company should not be allowed to do business in this manner. Needless to say we will never attempt to use their site again and will buy our Louis Vuittons, Monclers and Chanels elsewhere!

I ordered boots at 2pm from Canada and they were at my house in the US by 8:30 the following morning.

Lost $2200 to them for returning winter coats that they said they never received.
I bought 5 coats and kept 1 coat. I returned the other coats in the boxes as they came... individual boxes taped together and a fixed the one shipping label that was provided to me.
Two weeks later, one coat return was processed. I called the customer service line, waited an hour on the phone to find out that they "never received the other jackets".
A few days later one of the jackets I returned somehow was sent to me again. At that time customer service was quick to make sure I can return the jacket. Since I wasn't getting anywhere with them, I went through the dispute with my credit card company. Five months later, they insisted on the charge and charged me again.
I proved to the credit card company that someone at Ssense signed received a package that was 8lbs.
The customer service representative insisted that the 4 jackets would have been 12lbs. That's BS because I kept the heaviest jacket and that around 1lbs. Their whole system is flawed!
1) why would they provide only one shipping label for all these jackets? If they indicated 8lbs for all those jackets, why would they now say 8lbs is lighter than all the jackets they received?
2) if they didn't receive my jackets, why did one jacket got returned to me?
3) worst customer service and sketchy "resolution". They sounded willing to help as a response to my bad review on Truepilot. But the representative via email was nasty to me.
I bought two items from SSense that came to almost $1000. I came home one day to find an email saying my package had been delivered. But I never received the package. I launched a complaint and did everything they told me to do, including not launching a complaint to stop payment via my credit card company. A few weeks later I received an email from SSense saying they had completed their investigation and had decided the driver had delivered the package (to my apartment building lobby, or in a hallway perhaps) and thus they were declining my claim. I had included my buzzer number on my purchase and never did they buzz me. The buzzer rings on my cell phone and had someone buzzed me that day I would have indicated that I was not home and that they should leave the package at the FEDEX office which is mere steps from my apartment building. I was outraged to think that SSense delivers packages and does not care if they are delivered to the recipient. How did the driver gain entry to the building since clearly the driver did not buzz me to gain entry? Why would they not leave a note saying they tried to deliver but since no one was home, it was returned to the Fedex office for the customer to pick up. SSense then told me that once a claim was denied, the customer is out of luck, or in this case, out almost $1000. The guy on the phone just kept repeating that there was nothing he could do once a claim was denied and that SSense will not take phone calls or reopen files. Thus, my advice is NEVER to buy anything from this company unless you plan to sit a home and wait for your package to come since it appears they drop packages in buildings and don't bother to be sure the package is received by a person. Then they will merely tell you it is too bad but you are out whatever amount it was. Why would SSense not leave a note to say they had tried to deliver, found no one at home, and thus you need to claim your package at the Fedex office is beyond belief. I am out almost $1000 and apparently have no claim. An outrageous experience that cost dearly. Do yourself a favour and do not buy from this company!
I ordered the shoes on a Tuesday afternoon by Thursday morning they had arrived safe and sound in the UK. Now that's what I call service.
I wish a little more thought could be put in the packaging, it was fine but could have been presented better eapecially for a designer clothing shop
