Despite the horrible negative comments I have read for 3 days, I still decided to give ssense a shot since only they have the shoes I want to buy with such a steal price. Anxiety starts hitting me after I started the order. The next day came, when I tracked the other, it was already there, at the front of my door. Excellent packaging, excellent quality and super fast, the best online order I have ever experienced before. Recommend you guys give them a chance.
Ordered an $800 designer belt and it arrived in nothing but a kitchen ziplock bag thrown into a battered cardboard shipping box. Contacted their customer service to complain and received an extremely rude, argumentative, and deflective reply saying they were doing it for environmental and sustainability purposes. You guys are full of BS if you think you can convince anyone your idea of environmental packaging is by using PLASTIC ziplock bags. Let's not try to act like there aren't thousands of brands who have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging options. You guys just want to cut corners and save a few bucks on packaging all the while blaming the designers "for how they shipped it to you" as if there aren't tons of other luxury outlets that offer their own in-house packaging (I can think of 5 just in Canada). Don't market yourselves as a luxury company when you offer such a terrible buying experience and horrific customer service.
Was able to return an ill-fitting dress and receive my refund, no sweat. They even responded to my update queries with a helpful timeline
Go with netaporter instead. These people do not care about their customers at all, their content is weak, they are what is wrong with the world
I received my package in a well secured box within the week of purchase. Very happy with the service and how fast i got my items.
After several successful orders with no problem I ordered a jacket which did not work out. I promptly returned it and received an email saying the return was received and I would be refunded. After 2 months of checking my credit card bill and seeing no refund I contacted them, first via email (no response) then via phone. The customer service rep confirmed the item was returned but said she had to pass my case on to colleagues to issue the refund. I don't hear anything further and after multiple follow up emails with no response they write back and say they cannot refund me without a copy of the UPS receipt, location of the UPS and date when returned. Uh ok… good thing I saved the receipt. I send this to them, then nothing for several more weeks and multiple emails. When they finally write back it's yet another different customer service rep saying they cannot refund me and need to open a case with their courier service. WHAT?! This has nothing to do with a courier service - they clearly have received the returned item. I even send them a screen shot of the UPS tracking that shows the person who signed for the package. They say that the courier service will be contacting me to investigate and do not under any circumstances open a case with my credit card company as doing so will jeopardize my ability to get a refund (?). Another week goes by and they email to say they have decided to proactively refund me but that the case is still open and to cooperate with the courier. WHY? There shouldn't even be an open case. I will see on my bill if they do indeed refund me but they seem to be scammers. Just please beware when buying from here. If you need to return they will make it extremely difficult. Make sure you keep all documentation and take photos of everything.

It has been 4 days since I was told by Ssense customer service that the charge will be reversed. My bank account hasn't been credited at all. SSENSE IS SHADY. It's only $2.90, but it's the matter of principle which SSENSE is completely lack of. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS SITE!

I called to cancel my order. I thought it was canceled but no. I checked my bank a few days later, they still did reverse the charge so I had to call again. Another person told me my order was canceled. WTF!. She canceled it again for me.
They said they take the card holder very seriously. Sure they do. Again, it doesn't matter what they say, I stick to my review about this website. Never order from them again ever.

Ordered on the 19th, ssense charged my bank account on the same day. On the 22nd, I got an email from them saying they charged me again for a small amount. If I can't tell them exactly how much it is, they won't send me my order. I understand the whole extra step to make sure I am not using a stolen credit card. If I weren't in the rush of getting my order, I wouldn't care this extra step.
I even sent them a screen shot of the debit card transaction for the full amount. They still wouldn't release my order. Never order from this company again.

One way to fast-track the security process is to call your bank and ask them for the small amount charge. This has helped other customers quickly find the amount, and get their orders approved.
