Despite the horrible negative comments I have read for 3 days, I still decided to give ssense a shot since only they have the shoes I want to buy with such a steal price. Anxiety starts hitting me after I started the order. The next day came, when I tracked the other, it was already there, at the front of my door. Excellent packaging, excellent quality and super fast, the best online order I have ever experienced before. Recommend you guys give them a chance.
Ordered an $800 designer belt and it arrived in nothing but a kitchen ziplock bag thrown into a battered cardboard shipping box. Contacted their customer service to complain and received an extremely rude, argumentative, and deflective reply saying they were doing it for environmental and sustainability purposes. You guys are full of BS if you think you can convince anyone your idea of environmental packaging is by using PLASTIC ziplock bags. Let's not try to act like there aren't thousands of brands who have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging options. You guys just want to cut corners and save a few bucks on packaging all the while blaming the designers "for how they shipped it to you" as if there aren't tons of other luxury outlets that offer their own in-house packaging (I can think of 5 just in Canada). Don't market yourselves as a luxury company when you offer such a terrible buying experience and horrific customer service.
Packaging and feel is imitation, can not be sure is genuine goods, shipping information is not clear, no goods after ordering the information, you need to wait for more days to get the site to view the information is not updated, etc...
Ssense was unable to fulfill the order in the time promised, with absolutely no notice. In face it took well over a week for them to even ship the item after the promised arrival date. After not receiving the item when promised, I called customer service who informed me that they were unable to cancel the order at the point, nor expedite it. Each time I called they assured condescendingly assured me it would arrive within two days and of course it didnt. Terrible customer service and complete inability to fulfill orders.
Orderd an outfit monday... Here it is thursday not only did i pay for 1 day shipping i still have yet to recieve any confirmation an every time i look it shows no account for me... Well i hope i get my stuff before saturday an sunday an if not then i will be taking legal matter
My item took forever to be shipped and delivered. I purchased something for my birthday and was disappointed because it didnt come ontime. Trying to reach a representative to figure out the issue was even a hassle. Just very disappointed at the service.
Placed an order for a Burberry scarf on 10/15. Order shipping label gets printed and gets stuck in same status for a week. I call to open a customer case and they cannot get an update from their internal shipping team for 36+ hours even though it is ALL THE SAME COMPANY. Zero updates to me for another week until I call them back. They supposedly escalate but no update for another 36 hours. I have to chase them down again.
Turns out it was a fault on their warehouse, but they need to do an "investigation" on their side and that can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. So no refund, no item, no apologies. Finally, they cancel and refund my order over weeks of poor communication and SSENSE fault.
In this day and age, never have I received such poor customer service through a large eCommerce retailer. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. STAY AWAY if you want a good customer/consumer experience.
Purchased a Max Mara coat it arrived not as described as per the photos online. Paid $45 aud to get it shipped to Australia and paid $65 aud to post it back out of pocket. Emailed and sent photos to customer care team who never responded to my email. Shop at your own risk if product arrives not as described you'll be out of pocket to ship item back to SSENSE.

The seller couldve packed this more carefully since this is a makeup palette which makes this item fragile. I'm still giving this item 5 stars since it looks like it has great quality and its really pigmented.
I am very indecisive, so even if I order something, I'm not sure it's the right choice until I try it on. I so appreciate that SSENSE understands this and makes returns so easy! I will absolutely shop here again!
I ordered a hat and the packaging was very flat, thus, flatting my hat. Also, as an online retailer with high end designer product, i would expect more out of the packaging and care, but instead i got a hat stuffed in a clear plastic bag, stuffed into a very shallow box.
I bought the Diesel white sandals from SSENSE and it was my first time purchasing any products from the website. I heard about the site from my friend and decided to go check it out for myself. Upon purchasing the sandals, there was no problem whatsoever. The order confirmation was quick and shipment was also fast. Will definitely buy from SSENSE again!
I love ssense they sell quality items service is really great especially Katrina is absolutely wonderful always helpful and friendly. They ship items really fast and all products are quality items and if there is a problem they are always willing to sort it out. Regarding return shipping these guys are still young company and still working on things and not all onlince store got return shipping labels but they got many other good things!
The website is fantastic, budget shoppers may be disincentivized by the relatively high international shipping costs. The DHL service is fantastic but it is expensive. Consider adding cheaper options if for smaller orders.
This was my first time making a purchase from Ssense. I have always been a little skeptical with purchasing lucury goods from online sites. This experience confirmed mh worry. Not only did the item arrive without a box. It had nail marks on the inside flap. The first customer care agent I spoke to also kept on telling me marks are to be expected because this type of leather is prone to wrinkles and marks and its only natural. Even though I showed her photos of obvious scratches done by hand. It was very dissapointing.
They were good enough to show me photos of one from the warehouse in better condition. However when I sent back my poor comdition purse, instead of sending out the good one. They refunded me my money. I have to call back to replace the order. The whole process is absolutely horrible. I will never shop on this site and neither will any of my friends.
I'm a repeat customer but something awful has happened to SSENSE!
I ordered two pairs of shoes. The drop down size list showed the EU size and US conversion, I selected my size as EU40 (US10). When they arrived they are both EU42. They have incorrectly converted and refused to acknowledge that had received incorrect sizes! Customer service outright lies. I had to file for a return through Paypal, and they put up a fight there too. Paypal luckily enforced a refund.

I orderd belt cost more then $600 and I haven't received the package and i complaint to the customer service… after 3, weeks of investigation and they declined my complaint and now no belt and lost my money…. Best advice, don't purchases anything from these scammers
I have placed an order in October for a birthday gift. My payment was taken but the Purse NEVER arrived. After weeks of calls and emails, they kept telling me they were investigating but 2 months later told me they have delivered the purse and I can go to the police. No document or proof sent to me in regards to receipt of the order.
Now I should have checked the reviews on consumers sites as I now see I am not alone in this situation. At the very least not reliable I thought with lousy customer service. Reading other people I am convinced there is a SCAM here. We have to have some recourses for this type of practice. Never seen this online as I thought it was a reputable site.

Bought Costume National jeans on final sale (20/5/16)
Their policy states they will not accept returns on final sale items (no mention of faulty goods in this statement)
Cost -£196
On arrival i found the zip to be faulty - broke in other words
Informed Ssense within 1 hour of receiving the item
Asked to send photos by them - I did
Their resolution? To offer me a 10% discount on a faulty item - thats £19.40 on the £196 i has spent!
Irrespective of whatever reply they post BELOW i have received no other satisfactory offer or resolution! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
UPDATE: thanks to the lovely Katrina i have now had a full refund and my faulty good was returned free of charge. My review now reflects this - nice to see a business listening to its customers.

Absolutely do not buy from SSense if you live in US and have any reservations that you may have to return the item. No receipt comes with package. Customer incurs the full burden of return. SSENSE reserves right to refuse return. So many unknowns, cost of return, customs, and time. SSENSE agent admitted to me that most American customers do not like SSENSE return policies. Compare Net-a-Porter for great customer service and customer friendly help.

Total website is a scam and a waste of time and money. I was very skeptical because of the bad reviews and because the item i wanted was a hugo boss messenger bag discounted from $191 to $140 i didnt pay it to much mind because it was sold out everywhere else. I purchased it and it got shipped almost immediately. My item came three days later and it was literally a baby essentials shirt. Will contact my bank to dispute this charge i hope yall get shut down
Polyvore has a lot of scam Chinese website products. People expect that polvore would have some kind of check to make sure that they don't have so many products from scam websites, but they dont. I don't feel comfortable ordering the products available there because of this. So I stopped using polyvore.
I bought a Alexander McQueen shoe from ssense, it's a sales item with spike design on the shoe. After receiving the parcel and wearing the shoes out for only few hours the spike actually fall off and I am so so disappointed with it. I didn't expect a shoe that cost me SGD $680 to spoil after wearing it less than few hours.
Please email or call me asap to settle this issue. I don't mind changing to another design if not please refund me.
And I suspect you guys are selling a faulty good as sales item. Please if you guys are not going to handle this issue properly I will never ever shop at SSENSE again and I will inform my friends as well to never shop at ssense too.

I am a contributor to the Ssense editorial team and was given a press discount as a result which I have used a few times without any problems. However on my last purchase, I was told there was a technical problem and they couldn't refund the discount. Then a week later I was told I was no longer eligible for the press discount which was completely without warning! Had I known this I would not have made the purchase from the website. Am very unhappy about this.
I ordered 2p set on 20 December!only 3 January I got email that one item is missing and other been shipped and will arrive 9 January. But I don't need one item from the set! I didn't get refund for second item yet, and by the 9 January I'll be away of country, so I asked them to cancel order or change delivery adress but they can't! What's that to wait from 20 December to 9 January and get only one from two things?

I purchased almost $1000 Thom Brown sweater from SSENSE and they sent me a pants, different brand, almost three weeks ago.
I requested refund via email as I can't return the wrong item.I provided picture of wrong item that I received from them and
They said it will take 5 business day for me to get it refunded but it's been three weeks and still no reply.
Update:
I finally got refunded but please be aware that to solve this issue I called SSENSE almost 10 times and finally last person from customer service was able to send me the return label. Previous customer service personnels all keep saying there is other department who handle this and did not give me any solution. Another shocking fact was that when I speak to last customer service, she said my case was closed, so if I did not call again I would never get it returned and refunded. If you are willing to waste your time on calling customer service and wait for almost a month if you happen to get wrong item, you can buy from here. Even if they have good collection, I will never buy again, with this horrible customer service.

I have purchased items via SSENSE several times. The items are not bad, but the shipping sucks so bad, especially when it's shipped by USPS which is the worst shipping method. Sadly you cannot choose an alternative method.
SSENSE use basically two shipping method, Fedex and USPS. Fedex does well, but USPS, it seems like they specialize in make your package missing.
In December, 2018, I made an order and it was shipped by USPS, which was supposed to be "delivered" by 31st, December 2018. However, now it is the end of January 2019, I have received nothing! The so-called investigation took one month, but no real progress has been made at all! The order worths nearly $2,000, and I am still contacting the customer service for my missing package!
Every time when they ship items via USPS, the packages get lost. This has happened more than once.
