Although I shop at Staples for supplies, my last visit was solely to solve a problem that I was having with my Samsung tablet. This very knowledgeable associate spent about 15 minutes figuring out what was wrong and advising me what to do with it. He did not ask to be compensated for his time and he did not suggest any product to purchase. I have found Staples staff to be very willing to help and not impose anything on me, which is why I feel very comfortable going there with questions or to get supplies.

Went to Staples in Alpharetta, the?manager? Richard says I can not use my valid coupon. He said I use to many coupons? Rude about it, I am amazed how bad his attitude is, why issue coupons if customer are told they can not use them. I will go to Walmart.

I've never used staples.com before but they sent a bill to ups on my behalf with my address billing me $40. Apparently they send bills to random addresses hoping that they will pay it. When I called, the receptionist said that "it might just be a bug in out system" and she'll transfer me to billing. The billing department had no idea about the "bug" and I either had to pay the bill for them or work it out with UPS. I have never used staples.com and I definitely never will. If you're someone like me who they send a random bill to, you can get it deleted out of the system because UPS is aware of the scam.

I needed print toner quickly and ordered from Staples based on their claim that I would get free overnight shipping if ordered within 9 hours. AFTER placing the order I got an email saying it would not be delivered for two business days. I called to cancel order, but they refused to cancel even though it had not shipped yet.

Terrible customer service!

They advertised next day dispatch and I paid for express 24 hour delivery. It has been 10 days and it hasn't even been dispatched yet!

I emailed to cancel and it took them 5 working days to respond and they refused.

I will be returning the item when it arrives.

Staples rewards is a scam. Employees at the store argue with customers. The merchandise is hard to find. You can't find anyone to help you. Inept management + indifferent staff = failure. Shop elsewhere.

Did you know you can buy just about anything from Work clothes to water to luggage these days at Staples Canada. They have truly grown over the years and have very good Customer Service department when you run into any kind of issue.

I have ordered business cards from Staples before and with success, but this time their website was Obnoxious and Uncooperative. With much patience and time, necessary because of their inept website, I was finally able to construct a card and prepare it for ordering. Then the site bombed me out and lost all my work. Did I say Obnoxious? Total waste of time. Good Bye, Staples.

I ordered an ink cartridge on line and I picked it up at the store near me, I opened the box to find out that they sent me a used cartridge in a garbage black bag with no red straps that usually come with it indicating its a used cartridge... I called customer service to hear someone sounding like he is doing me a favor by sending a new one at no additional cost

I will not be returning to any Staples location after the experiences that I have had this week. After ordering my product online, the money coming out of my bank, and receiving an email specifically saying that I was ready to pick up my item. Once arriving at the store, I tried to collect my order through their curb side pick-up where I was talked to quite rudely by staff and also told that I would have to wait longer for my product to be "Processed" in their system. (Although I got an email saying that it was ready) So, after waiting for over an hour to receive my item. I randomly got another email while in my car, saying that the item was not processed and the order was cancelled. So here we over 5 days later, I still have not gotten the money put back into my account and have only had negative experiences with all of their customer support and actual in person staff throughout their locations

I worked in the Staples in Orleans Massachusetts. The managers are selfishly motivated and are holding on for dear life because the store is tanking. I was abused by someone who was asked to step in because there was lack of help he fired me never met him before for asking if he wanted help. Can we say women haters. Do not go to work for them you will not be happy and Staples sure doesn't give a flying f***

This is a review for Staples, but it also applies to Office Depot, in that they are both exceedingly dull and uninspired big box stores for office products.

I am leading with Staples though, as it is near me and not out on "the strip." Also, I bought my computer from them.

You will find the most run of the mill supplies for your business or home office at Staples... but do not expect anything that is the least bit fine or inspired.

Frankly, I miss the privately owned paper goods store, where one might find Cross pens, Italian papers and those wonderful cardboard office files that tied up with a grosgrain ribbon.

The "sales associates" are usually listless high school students who have no idea what you are talking about or where things are located within the store. At check-out, they will barrage you with a million questions about becoming part of their corporate club and BS like that.

All in all Staples is adequate yet dreary.

Three lackluster stars.

Staples is aptly named because it carries everything a business needs and also offers frequent sales events and repairs etc.
Having several different locations doesnt hurt either as always one within reach of your location. Staff are up front with information and up to date with the latest electronics, can, t fault this store.

Absolutely appalling service...
Ordered an item on the 15th Dec from website, which said 'processing' I got fed up with this' so used their web chat now that it was available after the Xmas period only to be told that the item had been discontinued, this was a 2021 diary insert... no wonder they went bust...

Salesman tried twice to use debit machine for our purchases then said it wasn't working. We then used a credit card. Found later in the day that 2 debit purchases hit our checking for $110 each. After 4 calls thru various phone trees this is still not resolved. Nobody at Staple wants to take any action to refund our money. Store says 24 hours for a refund, corporate says 3-5 business days. Their mistake has cost me time and money. Will shop elsewhere next time.

Staples just doesn't compete in the marketplace. Their stores look nice and their employees are friendly however they're not very knowledgeable. Once in awhile you'll find an item on sale that's a very good price. Other than that they try to sell too many different products and don't have a true focus. However for school supplies and office basic supplies I would definitely use them. Some people would say that they can get better pricing at Walmart, there's a big difference between people who shop strictly at Walmart and those who want good quality products. You may pay a little more for office supplies at Staples but the products are much better. I wouldn't suggest buying any electronics of any type there.

Everything I need when searching for office supplies - is here, always in stock. Barely there were times these guys didnt have anything I needed. Fast delivery time and reasonable pricing makes it suitable for me - I recommend!

Got a staples card in 2017. Was hurt shortly after and had 5 eye surgeries in the next 14 months. Located the card and asked for them to honor it. Refused to and told me the monthly service charges of $ 3.00 had eaten up most of the balance. That amounted to a service charge 72 %. Will not spend another dime with them

While the tape had started coming off the lid and keys upon arrival, it wasn't until around day 12 that I started noticing problems with my new (refurbished) laptop.

Of course, since the '14 day' return policy applies to -all- laptops, I'm now out of luck (and over $400) and dealing with trying to get my less-than-month-old laptop repaired by the refurbishment company. It was supposed to be for school, but it's not much use when it needs to be sent off for repairs within two weeks of purchase.

Messaged Staples 18 days after delivery to attempt to return, keeping in mind of course that an entire week of that time the city was snowed in.

Tip for consumers:
If your refurbished laptop appears to have even the slightest issue, return it immediately - do not wait to see if there's anything else. There will be.

I needed a large ski map given out by the Resort to be copied and reduced in size. The results were perfect. Now i ski with a much smaller map 8.5 in by 11 in., so much easier to use on the slopes. Store #1416 Glendale Co. Thanks RT

Did the online shopping for the Black Friday sale they sent me a confirmation of the sale and 24 hours later sent me a cancellation "Item not in stock". Thanks for nothing, should of said that when I ordered it. Many stores had the same item same price. 24 hr delay was just enough to screw me up.

I wanted to buy online a package of 5 Staples retractable pens at the displayed price of $5.94. But by the time I got to the checkout area (not easy) they had given me a different (more expensive item at $7.04), added sales tax of 43 cents and shipping at $9.95, so my one package of pens now totaled $17.42. Can you guess that I did NOT place the order? Also,, Chat is available only during business hours Eastern time. So if you are on the West Coast and want to chat at 6 pm. forget it. They are not available. I'll never buy anything from Staples.

Bought a chromebook online. They cancelled the order because they could not verify my address because it is a new building. They sent me to the billing department when i called, who told me i was fraudulent. I called back and asked for a manager who offered to sell me anything i wanted at full retail price, but no apology or discount. I will never step foot into a staples again or ever be a customer at staples.com again. Save yourself the 3 days of hassle and take your business anywhere else. Definitely the worst customer service i have ever encountered!

This is a place you stop in when you need to figure out more stuff to add to your cluttered home office. I mean it starts with staples then post it notes, pencils, ink and before you know it you have gone too far.

I can't say enough about Jeffery at store 1378 Folsom! I worked in retail for 20 years and his customer service was superb. As well was the young man that set up my computer. This is the place to go for your next computer..

Wow! Where do I begin? Today I visited the Hanford location. When arriving, I was greeted with such an amazing welcome! These two employees were Jesse Z and Joe C. Before walking into the building I was feeling very stressed and overwhelmed. The reason was, I was needing to create a business card. These two gentlemen helped me with no problem. This is the best customer service I have ever received! I will definitely be taking all of my business to these guys! Thank you Jesse and Joe!

Ordered laptop with arrival on a Friday took forever to process. Contacted about my orxder was flat $#*! lied to three different times. They most have to many customers and don't care for the individual. I will never do bussines again with this sorry company. I should have ordered from the manufacturer would have surly seen my order inside of a week on a instock item.
