Ok… this review is for the pen snobs! If you're particular about what you write with, start on a new page when you make a mistake you can't erase, or just like good pens, this one's for your! I used to think I'd have to spend more money for a better pen and writing experience, but I found Pilot G-2 pens and never looked back. This review is specifically about the. 05 extra fine Pilot G-2 pens in blue and black ink. Smooth writing EVERY time which makes for continuous strokes, faster writing and more beautiful pages.
Really good customer service. My package was late and that blame belongs to ontrac delivery. What really impressed me was that upon contacting them, they offered to cancel the order. They could not have been kinder in their correspondence.
I wish they would change delivery companies. Capstone Logistics sucks! Every order is a problem. I will no longer be using Staples because of this issue.
Went in Staples in Jersey City, NJ to "SCAN" a 90-page document. No printing - just scanning. They charged 50-cents per page to scan a document! AND worst of all - it's only self-service. UNBELIEVABLE! I've been a long time customer of Staples shopping there at least a few times a month. I will now BOYCOTT them forever!
I love Staples stores. The prices are incredible and the selection is great. However, every experience ordering delivery from Staples.com has been a disaster, and my business will never use them again. 1 - We ordered a box of non contact thermometers. They never arrived. After a month we had to re order them.
2 - The second order was left outside our fence during non business hours. 3 - The order of cleaning supplies was thrown over our fence during non business hours, and damaged the supplies. We had to reorder. 4 - The reorder was also damaged and brought during non business hours.
Each time, we made clear what our business hours are, and to deliver them only to office staff directly during business hours. Each time they claimed to put this in the notes for delivery. Each time they failed this basic business delivery instruction, and twice this resulted in damaging the order.
I love the stores. But goodbye forever to delivery from Staples.com. We will use the more expensive Office Depot for future deliveries - less expense in time and damaged product that way.
I have ordered business cards from Staples before and with success, but this time their website was Obnoxious and Uncooperative. With much patience and time, necessary because of their inept website, I was finally able to construct a card and prepare it for ordering. Then the site bombed me out and lost all my work. Did I say Obnoxious? Total waste of time. Good Bye, Staples.

What a horrible experience! 48 hours of wasted time, aggravation and disappointment. I brought a simple 8"x10" flyer in to have a few photos and text arranged. Because the employees working in the print center have under the table cash jobs they are hustling through large editing jobs... only one employee is handling all the other walk in customers. This employee was aggressive, rude, beyond difficult and a waste of time to even try communicating with any longer as it had already been 24 hours and 4 trips back to the store with nothing completed. Greatly frustrated I called the "corporate office", explained the issue along with my Friday at 5 p.m. deadline and the women offered to whip the flyer up and email it back. This call was at 10a.m., she notified me at 5p.m. That she would be finished at 8p.m. As she is answering call too, and it is now 10p.m. With still no flyer, no email, no response. What a waste of time! Staples is not what it used to be 20 years ago...

I ordered an office desk off their website 2 week ago. I expected it to be delivered in about 7-10 days at the latest. I just called customer service and that there were unexpected shipping delays and I would have to wait 2-3 more days. This is just a horrible experience and I wish I had ordered from another shop.

I had a school project to print for my Graduate program to study for my BCBA license. I attempted to call my local staples several times a day for 3 days in a row with no answer. I then sought help through their customer service line which kept me on hold for several minutes only to hang up on me before getting through to a live representative. At the end of the day I was unable to print my project at Staples and went through Amazon instead. Don't waste your time with Staples if you have an important project to get done.
I am an attorney. I have repeated deadlines, etc., requiring various Staples products, services and more importantly knowledgeable advice. But for AARON, Sales Manager's assistance I would never have met my deadlines. I was also greatly assisted by Edith, Assistant Manager on several occasions. I noticed that they did not only treat me w/ personal service, but also kindly helped others. Staples deserves the name Super Store because of them. Reliable!

I wanted to buy online a package of 5 Staples retractable pens at the displayed price of $5.94. But by the time I got to the checkout area (not easy) they had given me a different (more expensive item at $7.04), added sales tax of 43 cents and shipping at $9.95, so my one package of pens now totaled $17.42. Can you guess that I did NOT place the order? Also,, Chat is available only during business hours Eastern time. So if you are on the West Coast and want to chat at 6 pm. forget it. They are not available. I'll never buy anything from Staples.
The emails for a receipt never show up, get it printed. In my case I never got an option for one purchase and that wasteed an hour of my time later. When you return only the store you bought from will have access to the receipt. I got a return but it was a different amount from what I paid.
At my local store, the assistant manager was stumped. I had to call th emanager the net day. Both tell me to call corporate. Corporate tells you they only work with online orders call the manager. The manager (wait for him again) says once a return is processed he cannot help you, the system processes the lowest price regardless of what you paid. My manager was not nice at all about my call.
I know companies make it hard to return and I seldom do, but at least Staples store managers should know the process, not send me calling corporate who cannot help me. The return took more than an hour.
I stopped in Staples late one evening, about 1/2 hr before closing time. I knew it was late but had just a few questions about how to download some PDFs to the Staples site for printing. Stacia helped me with the file, helped me choose the correct paper and printed a sample of what the item would look like. She helped me with other items I wanted to download and print. Although the store was closing soon I never felt like I was being rushed along. I offered to come back the next day so she could close up but she said not to worry, we could finish the project that night.
Very nice girl, very knowable, very patient. EXCELLENT customer service.
I just placed an order with Staples online, haven't received everything yet, turns out someone used my card and either paid bills or transferred money, two large amounts and a small, even though my bank is going to refund me, this thief im sure that works at staples got away with my money and i gotta Wait until the 11th they tell me before I see my refund, the thief didn't have to wait but I do for my own money, What A World We Live In!
WON'T BUY ANOTHER PRINTER HERE AND/OR THE WARRANTY COMPANY ASSURANCE I PAID FOR IS NOT REPUTABLE, PUT ME THROUGH HOOPS FOR DAYS WITH NO GOOD OUTCOME. PRINTER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. NEXT TIME I'LL BUY ONE ELSEWHERE.
