Although I shop at Staples for supplies, my last visit was solely to solve a problem that I was having with my Samsung tablet. This very knowledgeable associate spent about 15 minutes figuring out what was wrong and advising me what to do with it. He did not ask to be compensated for his time and he did not suggest any product to purchase. I have found Staples staff to be very willing to help and not impose anything on me, which is why I feel very comfortable going there with questions or to get supplies.
Went to Staples in Alpharetta, the?manager? Richard says I can not use my valid coupon. He said I use to many coupons? Rude about it, I am amazed how bad his attitude is, why issue coupons if customer are told they can not use them. I will go to Walmart.
I was hoping that my order got delivered, but I checked later and it said "CANCELLED". I called and asked them why they didn't send me an email or something to let me know about it so I had to take care of it right away. They said that they didn't think it was safe to email me. But they had emailed me the receipt with the order information. It really bothers me that big companies do things like this. I needed the item at a certain date and now it's impossible! Second time, I called again. They explained the mistake I made when I ordered it the second time. I explained what happened and the lady said that I can't make the order online anymore. I asked if I can leave a review at the end of the call and she said NO. How can't I leave a review? Why? It makes me think it was because she knew I was not going to leave a good one. Of course not! I didn't have a good experience so why would I give a positive review. I am so upset right now. On top of that, she sounded like I was trying to do something suspicious and that made me more upset. I tried to explain many times what happened so I could purchase the item right away. I kept defending myself because I know I don't have the need to trick or steal from anyone. I am glad I can support myself and never see myself in a situation where I have to steal from anyone. This is my first time buying from staples and what an frustrating experience. I am only buying from this store because I have a giftcard, but next time I will look for better option.
I am very pleased with the service and the care shown by the employees in shaping the order, which always arrives on time, safe and sound. Thank you all very much!
Overall they are better than many other service provider. I used my others online services but staple's services are quite good. But there are room for improvement for perfections.
Hard to believe they are two separate companies unless one owns the other. Products are slightly different, you have to read the specs on electronics to see the difference.
First I want to point out that we are all aware of the pandemic. I go to Staples, in Bloomfield, NJ to return several packages -to ship UPS.
I wait in the copier center, no one is there. As I look to see if someone is behind the window, the worker shows up. Another customer is now in line. The worker instead of asking me, "can i help you, she takes the other person first. Than when she comes to help me, and scans my UPS returns, she tells me to put them in the shipping container (was that a covid-19 precaution behavior?). There are many little tell tell incidents. Another time I asked a worker to enlarge a document. She said she didn't have the time. She was the only person there, it was 7:30 pm. Two other customers where making copies. No one was in the line, the store was empty. She was not doing anything. She was looking up at the ceiling. So she proceeded to show me how to use the self service which was ok. But her demeaner was rude. And she went over to one guy and helped him all day. It was like a preference. The time she took to run around to the back, she could have done this thing for me in less than a minute. Very unpleasant, unwilling to help behavior. So many little incidents over the period of time I have experienced and observed. I say to myself when I need copier service, don't go to Bloomfield Staples because they are rude. But when I go to Springfield, NJ, more professional, willing to help, pleasant demeaner, better respect given to customers. WOW! "They better not ask me for a donation".
Staples make best quality office products and they are worth appreciating. They are genuinely priced at first choice for office stationary requirements.
Often I can't find office supplies for my business. I can't find any other company selling them other than Staples. They have hard to find items and have reasonable prices.
No major issues to date using Staples. I have quit using Quill (even though they now own Staples) Office Depot, ect as Staples has good prices and great specials.
You can find a solution for most of your home/business needs. Associates are keen to help. However, you can find similar items for a lower price elsewhere.
Staples has the fastest delivery of any store I have ordered from. I recently ordered a printer and it arrived in less than two days from the time I ordered it. The printer was a great deal too!
The merchandise is not delivered as promised, you have to wait 44 minutes to talk to customer service, you can not cancel the order because it is being delivered but the delivery never comes. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
In an e-mail, Staples offers $30 off $60 purchase. Below are pictures of ink, laptops etc, Below the pictures is written in small writing that ink, laptops etc. are not included.
How stupid is that?
Everytime i go to staples i always find what im looking for. Their staff always help if i can find what im looming for. Price are very competitive to other office supplies stores
Great company and the rewards really make a difference. I had a bill of over $300.00 and I had $100 in rewards, coupons, and other discounts in savings!
I recently retired from a large school district as a supervisor. We ordered everything from Staples! They had everything we needed. They were quick, friendly, and had everything I needed!
Went into the San Diego Mission Valley store on Monday, August 17 - the day after Staples published an advertising flyer that included a sale price for the computer I wanted. After tracking down an employee to help me make the purchase, and after he went looking for the requested computer, he informed me that the store only had "2 returned open box damaged items in stock." I showed him the ad flyer that had been published the preceding day and asked how it was possible that none of the advertised products were in stock and whether there was another store in San Diego with some stocked. After speaking with a manager, he informed me that the store would have some in stock the following Monday - the day after the advertised sale price expired. I asked if the sale price would be honored, and after once again speaking with the manager, he said that it would be. I continued to complain that advertised sales products should be in stock otherwise they were doing a classic bait and switch. That got results. The employee went to the back of the store and when he returned he said he had "found" the requested computer on a truck that had just unloaded - sure, it was the same turnip truck that I fell off of. Then after ringing me up, he proceeded to give me the duplicate copy, not the original, sales receipt which included the language "Duplicate copy not valid for cash refund." When I asked for the original copy, he claimed ignorance, so I had to get the manager to strike out the offending language and sign the duplicate receipt. Bad practices all around.
Need i say more, over priced again same issue with places like this. Inkfarm and go to walmart for your needed supplies. 10 bucks on planers really cheapest only gets a calender
Will NEVER order from staples.com again my first order of flling cabinet was the wrong color... canceled and ordered again... they never came to pick up the first one as promised wasted two days waiting for pick up that was supposed to come and never did
They also tacked on a protection plan charger i NEVER asked for or agreed to... had to call the president office of staples and they STILL haven t picked it up.
Was talking to a friend of mine who had a similar experience but worse... she ordered a file cabinet and they delivered A CHAIR! They have to close this business down
NEVER EVER EVER ORDER FROM STAPLES.COM... IT IS A TOTAL DISASTER.
Recently I ordered business cards from staples in Merced and their cutting machine was down to make sure I got my cards their employee Matt drove to Turlock to get them cut and brought them back to Merced he went above and beyond the Call of Duty. When I went to Staples to order the business cards there employee Kim took extreme care and time with me to design the perfect card the experience was wonderful I want to say thank you to Matt and Kim for helping me have a successful business
Like most reviewers that have horrible experiences, I truly wish I could give negative stars. My husband got a little extra money in his paycheck so we decided to get a printer that we've been waiting to get. We saw it in store (I wish I had just gone in to get it instead of online) and I ordered it online to be picked up in store. The only reason (and last time I do this) was because my husband was still at work and I wanted to make sure they had it ready for us when we got there. I figured I'll pay for it now, and just go in and pick it up and we're good. Staples.com charged my card, but cancelled my order-couldn't verify billing address. We just moved and our address is not the same as our billing as the bank is connected to our old address. Since we were going to pick it up, I wasn't aware this was an issue. I did not receive any type of email or call (they have all that info from the order) that my order was cancelled. The only reason I found out is when I didn't get a confirmation email from the store that the printer was ready, I called. The store had no record of my order so I called the 800 number. That's when I found out they cancelled it. I'm still waiting to get my money back from them.
I love shopping there just because it means I don't have to go anywhere. All I have to do is click couple of times with a mouse and few days later I have it delivered. Pretty convinient.
We purchased a brother printer all in one and exactly 2 months after the year was up the printer almost caught my office on fire! Of course since it was just 2 months past the 1 year warranty they wouldn't honor their product they sold us! BUYER BEWARE! We have a national account with this company and I highly suggest you take your business to another office supply company! I don't know the order number since it was last year when we purchased the printer! BROTHER MFC-9340CDW NEVER AGAIN WILL I COUNT ON THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
Staples has oddly beomce my go to for purchasing and ease of price matching. They don't give you a lot of hassle and they do have a bit of stuff available.
I placed an order with a representative on the phone. I had given the rep my correct address, but I saw in the confirmation email 3 hours later that they were mistakenly shipping the item to my daughter's home more than 1,000 miles away. I immediately called and asked the rep to correct their mistake on the delivery address. She said that she was unable to do that. She said that she had to cancel the first order and place a new order, so we did that. I paid for the 2nd order, had it delivered to my local Staples store, and picked it up the next day. Four days later, the first order that I was told had been cancelled was delivered to my daughter's home. I checked my credit card statement and saw that the first order had not been cancelled. I called again and asked to have the charge from the first order credited back to me. Staples will not credit that money back to me until my daughter delivers the item to UPS or to a Staples store and they verify that it has been returned. Staples made a mistake on the delivery address and on their failure to cancel the first order. They have wasted a lot of my time, and now they will also waste some of my daughter's time to get their mistakes corrected. This is a good way to drive long-time customers away from a business.
I wanted to order the brochures. Uploaded the design, glossary finish, choose "delivery" because there are free deliveries for reward members. At the check out I found out there are not any free deliveries there, I did not want to pay $9.99 for delivery, so I wanted to change this option into "store pick up" - there were no such options, I had to close out everything and start a totally new order. I have uploaded my images again, picked "store pick up" and this time it says that the glossary finish is not available for "pick up" options. Crazy. So, I don't have much choice, so I decided to go with a regular paper and a "store pick up". At the check out I found out that they don't accept gift cards online like a payment. I have already spent 2 hours on all this and still was not able to place any order.
I wanted to leave a feedback for them, but the red icon on a side of the screen was not clickable.
I have been ordering the cards and brochures at Vistaprint before and have never had any problems. At the Staples.com, spending 2 hours, I still was not able to order anything.
