Im a Starbuck's fan, but I've never had an experience this dreadful. We go into Starbucks almost daily, mostly great service.
Highway 8 store in Stoney Creek (Fortino's Mall) was making up their own rules. We wanted a call back from the manager, it never came. We called customer service and they forwarded a message to have the District manager contact us, they never did. We called back customer service to ask for the Area Manager to contact us. They never did. Plus, they said there was nobody higher in all Starbucks to refer this to.
Each time we were told that we'd get a call back within 48 hours. We waited at least 72 hours each time.
Is this the new direction of Starbucks Canada? This is how businesses fail.

I ordered a drink that was over $7 and it did not taste at all like it should have, brown sugar and coffee were both missing, tasted like iced milk. What a waste of money and since it was through door dash I can't even get it replaced...Got a lousy $2 door dash credit. Come on Starbucks this is not ok.
I always order the same thing. Tall - dark coffee with 1 raw sugar and "light" splash of cream.
So often my coffee is too white, too creamy.
There's got to be a standard that the staff at all Starbucks can get their system right, at my work place... 585 University Avenue Toronto, once u walk away, its too much hassle to return to get the problem fixed. And at the same time don't enjoy this cream with coffee flavor beverage.
It tasted like triple cream because coffee is not so hot.

The coffee in Starbucks is bad. It does not have any taste or aroma. Each time I have had coffee, they serve coffee with no bean strength.
Unless they improve the coffee flavour, people are going to find other alternatives.
We buy large amounts of the holiday blend every year, from when they start showing up on shelves to shortly after the holidays because it is our favorite Starbucks coffee and we vacuum pack then freeze it to last months. This year, the first bags I bought from a Safeway Starbucks in Springfield Oregon were so terrible, it was obvious the coffee grounds were aged and had gone bad. That Starbucks, who should be expert by now in coffee, would sell last year's ground coffee is reprehensible. I wrote and sent pictures of my bags to customer service and asked them to mail me a replacement. Simple. They wrote back and told me I needed to do this and that to get a refund. Not having it. You can't handle your customer load if you make the customer do the work to correct your error. We were with you almost from the beginning, 40+ years. You lost these long timers.

Spending on average $150 a week at Starbucks and having supported them throughout lockdown when there were virtually no customers; yesterday l was refused service by the same staff at the Galleria outlet in Melbourne, who know me by name - for the 'crime' of refusing an experimental jab. The most disgraceful, disrespectful and discriminatory conduct by a corporation that has long sold its soul. Boycott ban for life!
This location used to be great. Today, it is cold and curt. If you enter the store unmasked, which is fully within your right to do so as of May 26,2022 (as the governor lifted the mask mandate), the cashiers stand firm and refuse to greet you. They simply stare at you and wait for you to place your order. Last week, the manager stepped right over my feet to get to an impulse item and failed to say "Excuse me" or "Pardon, miss." Sadly, these staffers are discriminatory, and I think Howard Shultz would be appalled. Zero seating. Will report this behavior to corporate and hope for change. Kindness is king.

Beware! There is no seating at this location. The staff pulled up all the benches, tables, and chairs and have yet to replace them. Staff is rude to those who are not wearing masks (during a time when masks are no longer mandated by the governor), which is rude and unwarranted.
Starbucks is often inconsistent with the taste of the drinks and there is no accountability or care for the customer. I am told that I will not get my money back, I need to have them remake it until it is correct. They remake it sometimes three or four times before one of them gets the drink correct. They continue to treat minorities like dirt and I will no longer set foot in another Starbucks store again.

I went to a Starbucks on New Years Eve with 4 others. They were slammed with business and we waited in line over 20 minutes. When I paid with my credit card I was not given a receipt. It showed up on my credit card bill but I need the receipt for work. Online unable to make me a receipt. Agent was fine, but policy is unacceptable.
Superb coffee, great staff, great experience! I used to hate coffee, but I'm hooked right now. Thanks to the gods of coffee at Starbucks. They always refund me whenever there is a problem with my order, and I am so thankful for that.
Starbucks is pretty consistent with their coffee and they always prepare it just the way I like it no matter where I go. It depends at what time of day you are ordering your coffee but for the most part its prepared quickly.
SO the job description says no experience then I apply and call and they're like "try again when you have more experience" So one or the other is lying to me, either the girl or the description is lying. Both can not possibly be true, it's impossible. It'd be like saying you're a human AND a cat, I'd literally know you have some issues. So do you need experience or not? Luckily for me I work somewhere better, somewhere that will get places in life because they hire the right employees. Starbucks if you continue to turn down good employees who are willing to work any hours and deal with any schedule changes, you WILL run out of business. I'm so very upset. Bought a Tumblr cup was $16 the lid you cannot clean it has mold in it. It's two days old they didn't wanna return it didn't want to give me my money back because I didn't have a receipt. I paid cash for it..

I cannot deny their coffee and drinks were nice, but it is obvious that they are expensive. You can really find something as good for a cheaper price. I've been to a few outlets and their service are mediocre. Asked about the ingredient in a pie and they are not very willing to answer.
What on earth is in the food? I ordered up some egg bites for my German Shepherd who enjoys a culinary treat of garbage & the occasional snack of dead decaying animals with no digestive issues at all. Feed her a couple of Starbucks egg bites & she's throwing her guts up.

Well for those who love this place more power to you but for me I just can not see paying such expensive prices for a drink. I do go there occasionally for a Chi Tea but only because I was given a gift card. But their employees are extremely friends and know how to treat their customers.
My daughter was ordering for me and her, and we were ordering medium orders of Frappuccino(mocha)and a refreshment, but they ended up giving us a large order of normal Frappuccino(not even mocha) and the refreshment. Pretty awful to kids I guess, since every time I ordered something they never gave something that was wrong.
