A site which develops the concept of awarding both contribution and the quality of contribution into the field of business questions and answers, not just for startups but anything commercial.
Anyone can ask a question and anyone can answer, no membership required. People who ask good questions and give good answers get rewards. Badges are awarded for achievements, a bit like the Boy Scouts. And with achievements come the opportunities to move up in the site hierarchy and be allowed to add comments, vote things up and down and generally mess with things you previously weren't allowed to handle.
This is a similar idea to that which has been the basis of Experts Exchange for many years, only that site is devoted to answering tech questions and as far as I recall, the awards system isn't so complex.
What looks genuinely new here is that if a person acquires enough reputation points, they become moderators of the site and can alter other people's questions and answers, wiki-style, without having to be invested with any further authority. This is an intentional part of the concept, to make the community self-policing and self-maintaining. And it distances the creators from the day to day administration of the site.
There are no charges for asking questions at this stage, so if you have some urgent need for an answer about your existing or intended business, especially if it's a web startup, now would probably be a good time to jump in. The site already claims a community of seasoned business people, successful entrepreneurs, journalists and bloggers, so you could get some very useful free information here.
I found this site very helpful for my son who's looking to start his own company and raise some venture capital.
