We have loved using Stately! Everything fits! Is the comment my husband always says! When you are 6'5, things do not always fit. The sleeves and pants are always the right length. It has saved us more time and energy. It is the wardrobe hack you want for 2025. We like to move the new in and push the old out with each box! Over time, we are building a capsule wardrobe curated to perfection, based on previous selections. I would recommend to anyone who 1. Wants to look stylish. 2. Wants to save money 3. Sizing has been difficult. Shoe too narrow even though I said I wear a wide shoe EE. Pants have been too slim and our to baggy. Brands all seem to be from the same manufacturer. Would have liked to see some Northface jackets, Brooks brother suit line, and other high end clothing as Stately brands themselves. It is however fun getting a present for yourself now and then, just not fun if you have to go threw the trouble of returning items that are not your taste our don't fit correctly.
Stately has generally been able to hit the mark on my requests, but it seems like a lot of extra effort to blindly receive goods, then have to ship them back if they don't fit or aren't needed as part of my wardrobe. It would be nice to have a preview of the items before they shipped to decide if anything should be exchanged before the box goes into the mail. Seems like it could save, time, money and make the whole process a little 'greener'.

While it is fun to receive the boxes, I have had issues with shrinking, discoloration, and multiple times them ignoring my style requests (i.e. No watches, shoes only occasionally). I will say that there have been some clothes I thought I would never wear, that ended up being my favorite.
Needed to mix up my style, and my son uses them.

I received a watch that I already have, so I reached about about an exchange. AI was friendly, and seemingly helpful. They sent me a link to help with the process. When i typed in the product number it alerted me that an accessory cannot be exchanged. So, I reached back out, and haven't received a response. It's been more than a few days at this point.
I had never tried a box service, and I liked that it asked a bunch of questions to find suitable gear.

Always get some good items, things I wouldn't normally purchase for myself.
However, this last time a shirt was too big and I'm exchanging it for a smaller size. The options are to pay $16 for this to happen in the next few weeks or exchange for free with my next box - which is 3 months away. So I've paid for this shirt… but can't wear it for the next three months as I find it ridiculous to pay to exchange a stylist selected shirt. This makes using Stately significantly more difficult. Just raise your box prices by $5-10 per box and assume 1 of 2 or 3 boxes will require an exchange. Stately is supposed to be a convenience but the new return/exchange policy is very inconvenient.
Like the style as well as the number of items in a box.

I have really liked many of the items sent -- particularly the shoes. However, nearly every polo I received and a few other items don't match my personality or style at all. Frankly, many of the items appear to have come straight off the 90% off discount rack - and they are ugly...no where near current style.
I am not great at putting outfits together and local clothing stores don't carry a very good variety of items.

Don't do it! It's a scam company. They will keep sending you to different departments for you to cancel. They will give u the run around and takes about 16 days to receive your package. It's 2024! Do better.

I used stately for a couple years. During most of the time it was mediocre at best. Also many of the sizes were actually a lot smaller than they should've been. Before canceling, I just decided to try to use the once a year subscription box because I had a wedding to attend and I needed western wear to match the weddings them. I made sure to update my stylist and my preferences on my account with plenty of time before box shipped. Needless to say, I did not get anything close to western wear. I did go and purchase the boots, hat, pants, shirt, and belt separately at a western wear shop and I actually paid less than I did for that one box from Stately.
I chose Stately for the convenience. I was also excited There would be a human stylist making selections based on my input.

Some of the inputs I shared were reflected in the items shipped while others were not.
The expectation that drove me to select the presidential package was the ability to review selections ahead of time and exchange things I don't like or don't fit.
I was never able to preview anything and I was charged to exchange items that didn't fit.
That's quite unfortunate as it would seem like part of the package

At this time we do not offer previews of items since our styling team works hard to send you items based on your profile. If some of the items did not fit quite right, feel free to reach out to member service so we can waive the $14.99 shipping fee for the exchanges. We want to make sure our members feel heard and help out in any way we can!
At first it was nice to speak to a stylist, discuss the items that we would receive, then get a box with all the apparel to try. As the subscription continued, they would first charge your credit card, then send a box of items which may or may not be something that you wanted. When I asked to speak with a stylist again, the notes were not transferred to whoever curated the box and I still received items that I didn't want.

Overall I have been satisfied with the quality of the products. I have been greatly disappointed in the process of making returns and exchanges. I have needed to return/exchange items. The clothes size is accurate but not all brands are cut the same and need to be exchanged. The process purposefully extremely tedious and very inconvenient. There are other more customer friendly options in the marketplace.
Initially due to ease of use and convenience. Hasn’t worked out that way in the end.

The last several orders have not matched my profile and I keep having to return more than I receive. For instance, in nearly every order they put a belt. I have indicated NO belts but they keep sending them. I have asked for shirts without pockets in the front -- they keep sending them. The clothing looks more "lumberjack" vs. LA hip. Loose fitting jeans, pants that aren't tailor trimmed and shirts that just don't fit my style. I've asked not to send collarless shirts -- they keep sending.
Because I thought you would help me be a better dressed person. If the next one isn’t fixed then I’m going to quit.

It is becoming an issue because sizes vary in each price of clothing. If I get a shirt that is too tight, I have to pay to send it back and you then replace it with another style if you don't have a larger. The problem with this is if I don't like the new style I am stuck with it and have not option to return it. Now, you also don't send replacements right away. You send them with the next order. I am planning to cancel, but would not have gotten my replacements u less I paid another shipping fee/replacement fee. It's a rip off. Some of the items you sent are the same brands I get from my other direct to costumer clothing company and they are much cheaper and don't charge the shipping and replacement fees.
I chose because I heard it was an elevated experience, but that had not been my experience so far.

I got 3 blue jeans and I asked for no jeans. I got duplicate brown jackets. I got duplicate blue plaids button ups. I got duplicate brown boots. Asked for no accessories, I got a watch. I was hoping for business casual but nothing was business oriented.

I only awarded four stars because I needed to use customer service in the first place; I was sent several items that were extremely similar to ones I had been sent in previous boxes. However, the representative I spoke to was clearly intent on making sure that I was satisfied, which is very gratifying!
I wanted to get an outside influence on my clothing choices, which is exactly what I'm getting. Admittedly, it won't always be perfect, but I now own several items of clothing that I enjoy wearing and would not have bought myself.

Look at the other reviews and ask yourself why their average is around a 3 star. When it's bad it really is bad. Stately did not review my style profile, did not consider feedback on my returns and continued to send things I did not want. I kept maybe 3 items but had to send back every box. On top of it all they firmly stand by their terrible policy of no refunds. They claim it's covered in the FAQ but that doesn't make the policy any less terrible. My opinion of this company would greatly change if I could get my money back and move on. Instead I'm forced to take a credit and try to find something on my own in their online store. This is after the fact that my premium boxes had very little value. This is completely opposite of what they advertise. Seriously, give me my money back. I'll personally pay to ship back your clothes and let's call it even.
