Bought several pieces as mistakingly thinking it was silver or steel dipped in gold, figuring out it's just brass made me contact S&D immediately to cancel my order. CS just answered, once confirmed no cancellation will be accepted, they're sorry.
So I invented again, as it was a passport shipping, means they NEVER can be so fast with picking, packing and forwarding to shipping agency! They said once it's rolling, it's rolling.
Wished they put some effort in it instead of apologizing by mail. Now I thought of returning, as it was a lot of money spent - guess what: returns from my country not accepted.

I ordered an item on Thursday, June 30 (Canadian customer) and it has yet to ship (it is now July 7). I get that Monday, July 4th was a U.S. holiday but still, this is ridiculous. While I was given a $15 store credit, I don't want store credit as I doubt I will order again, I would have preferred a credit to my Visa but was not given that option.
Necklace lost its coating and turned yellow. Do not purchase! Company give no warranty after 120 days.
I keep getting charged for products on Stella and dot even though I order one time only. I try to call their customer support and they refer you to a chat line that charges you a 1.00 but ultimately signs you up fir a monthly communication charge. I am going to cancel my subscription ASAP.
Although I love the style of Stella and Dot jewellery, I often end up disappointed. I've bought numerous items over the years and although they start off looking great, they end up tarnished or broken within 6 months or so which, for the high price, is unacceptable. With earrings, the posts have broken off, the silver and "gold" necklaces get tarnished and the stretch bracelets end up super stretched out and unwearable. I could be wrong but I seem to remember the quality being better. The final straw was when I recently ordered a long yellow-gold chain for a pendant I wanted to wear and it arrived very tarnished and gray looking - completely different colour than the gold pendant I want to wear with it. To be honest, I missed the refund/return window and I don't really have time to deal with it anyway (perhaps they would take it back but what a pain). Disappointing because when this company started out, they really stood out as a quality brand for costume jewellery.
I have several pieces from S & D and none of them have changed colour, S & D do not claim their items are 14k (unless you are buying the covet pave collection) - they clearly state items are shiny gold/silver.
I have never had an issue with any returns or exchanges and they give you 10% back on your purchases to put towards other items. I got a top that was reg $79.99 and with my 10% back earned the top cost me $25 bucks!
People will always complain, cant make everyone happy!
You have to try it to see if you like, if you dont - just return it for a full refund! Pretty simple!
I bought a beautiful necklace that I get so many compliments on. It is what I would call fine inexpensive jewelry. I've had it 8 months and no issues! I pd. $89 which I don't consider expensive. I will order more pieces from S&D. Perhaps the other ladies are looking for lower price jewelry that you buy at Target. S&D is definitely classier than that. Very happy customer here.
The gold changes colors. They claim its 14k its definitely not. When you return the jewelry they refuse to give your money back but offer you a credit which does not cover the entire cost of the chain you returned. All reviews must be friends or family. Stay away from this company if you want your neck to stay the same color.
I ordered earrings on Dec 15. I keep going to the email I got that Says "consider it shipped" but it says no info is available until shipped. I've checked back for 5 days I with I hadn't ordered them if they are not going to arrive by the 24th.

Yes, it is costume jewelry, but for the price should have been better than dollar store quality. The item was tarnished on arrival. I have already tossed it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. They lost my order, tracking showed label create but nothing else. I contacted them several times via the customer service email to say that there was a problem. (There isn't a phone option, that is telling as if they didn't have lots of issues there would be a phone number) They ignored the messages, the consultant had to get involved before they would check on why it never shipped when I asked her for a refund. They finally figured out they never actually packed the order and started the process over as if it was a new order. NO apology or any kind of customer service contact on it. I placed the order to help a friend start her own business with them. I have told her that she should go elsewhere as the above are not the actions of a good business to be involved in.

I was given a charm bracelet for my birthday... a few years later I can't wear it because it's all tarnished, the charms and bracelet. It looks like junk. I have jewelry that I have had for several years and it still looks brand new. Stella and dot is expensive too. Too bad, but I would never recommend them.
I ordered a jacket from Stella and Dot on October 2. It took more than a week to get to me. It was too big. I found out that I had to go through a "stylist" to get the return label. That took a couple of days. I mailed the jacket back on October 13th. About October 23rd, I get a note from the "stylist" asking if I had returned the jacket yet. I told her that I wanted to cancel the order and get the money credited back into my account. Basically it took a whole month and i still didn't have the jacket in the right size in my hand.
What a bunch of junk! Oversold at a party! Called customer service to let them know it is tarnished and they said that's NORMAL. Its a bunch of overpriced costume junk! Don't do it!

Ive been to a few parties and bought earrings and a necklace. First, nothing really says "wow" but I bought to be cordial to the party organizer. The necklace broke and the earrings turned black with a new 2 months. My opinion is they are relying on these parties. Using the women trying to make some extra... to have people feel obligated to buy when if you attend. Once you buy, they don't care since there's such terrible customer service. Don't fall for it.
I bought a bracelet a few years ago. It had to be replaced once. The bracelet has a ton of rhinestones in it and they keep falling out. Stella and Dot will not replace because it was bought over a year ago. This is s very fancy bracelet that I have only worn about 5 times. If you are looking for quality don't look at Stella and Dot!

She immediately told me what I wanted to hear and I ordered the bracelet at full price. A week later, it's on sale now for half price. The bracelet came today and does not fit. It is MUCH smaller than I was told. I was deceived and now I will never buy again from this company. They just do not care about he customers. Only our money.
Answer: It is impossible. They only have a email to contact them and they sent form replies that clearly show they do not read the messages. Very poor as a relationship selling business as the consultants have to deal with the fall out due to their lack of service.
