Went out for a christmas dinner at The Steveston Seafood House in Richmond, B. C. and it was a nightmare. First I asked what the turkey dinner consist of, vegetables etc. Well I didn't get the sweet potato with my meal and had to ask for it. I told the waitress I wanted my appetizer of scallops well done but got seared and rare inside. The turkey was awful with gristle and very dry, as with the stuffing. The time I got a second plate my friend was finished. Wine was a 15 minute wait. The only thing good was the salad and dessert. The service was awful and I was expected to pay a 18% gratuity for a table of two. Total waste of
200.00. Anyway I phoned and complained and the manager said a gift certificate would be in the mail for $80. 00. 10 days later no certificate. Then he got my address and sent it again. 21 days later no certificate. So I phoned and he told me he changed his mind after talking with staff and said the food was good and he will not send the gift certificate. I personally don't think it was ever sent from the beginning, as he probably thought I might forget over time. As a 15 year customer that came a few times a year, I guess this is how they treat their patrons. I will not go there again for I was lied to and they don't respect the word of their customers.
