Initially this person promised that he would take the city permit to get work done on my basement. He also raised his estimate based on the fact that things would cost more if we want to do it officially. I agreed to get the work done from him as I was looking for someone who would help me do things officially using city permit. However, after work was close to done I found out that he never contacted the city to take the permit. He simply lost my trust for any work in future. Additionally I wouldn't recommend him to any of my friends and neighbors in future.
