SCAM
September 13, 2022

I ordered sunglasses from their adverstisement on Instagram. It took them over 3 weeks to mail my product, let alone they sent me the wrong sunglasses. This store/website is a SCAM. They advertisement products that are over 50% percent off to get you to order from them. Warning! Do Not Order from these people. Its a totat SCAM! I learned my lesson the hard way. Pass this on to your friends and family.

Horrible company

I bought Ray Bans just the first ones that came up and i realized after purchasing that i got the small ones, why would they make the small ones the first ones that pop up. Along with that you can't email them to fix the order you absolutely have to call them. 0/5 star customer service.

Just tried to get some help with pair of Oakley's bought at Harbourtown shop in July. One frame handle had come off and thought they could repair or replace.
They had no idea how to fix or thought to try and repair and offered 50% of price to new pair.
Sent me off to Oakley shop at end of centre who simply clipped the arm back on in less than a minute.
Wish I had read these reviews before purchase!

Bought a pair of Clubmasters from this place. Girl put a scratched pair the was missing a screw in the bag and I didn't notice until I got home. Took them back the next morning and was told "too bad". This was at the hut in macy's. Salesgirl was a total POS who could care less about customers and totally ripped me off. Do not buy anything here

Sunglass Hut SUCKS! I'm a successful beautiful black woman who was wrongful accused of shoplifting. This took place on ******* on my daughter birthday. This raggedy company attempted to compensate me by sending me some knock off Gucci shades. I sent photos to Stephanie of me...probably too much for her and the cheap axx company to handle. Never did they make it right. Now I must take legal action. People of color this company cares nothing for us. Go to Specs where color does NOT matter!

Walked in and asked for not too expensive sunglasses for man. Lady behind the counter asked how much do u want to spend without showing me anything or moving from her current position. I asked show me the options then I can tell you. She said can u spend $160
I walked ouf went into Warby Parker and bought 2 pairs at $95 each, wrong business for that attitude.
Don't waste your time in this store.

Quick to take your money but if you have a problem with a product they will do anything to get out of helping you. I tried to return a pair of glasses within 24hrs of purchase at the store in Oxford street. The lady working for sunglass hut accused me of scratching the lens, bending the arm and making the glasses dirty. All this when the glasses had never been taken out of the box. They are clearly trained to fob off customers rather than respecting consumer law. I will never use this company again.

Great experience

This online company is a scam. I was supposed to have my glasses in a few days. Now they are stating that they are almost 2 weeks away. The company states they are being sent UPS which is impossible if I am only 2 states away. I sent them a email and they state it will be 2 days for a response. I would reccomend going into the store or buying the brand directly. Obviously there is a logistics and operational problem with their online company.

I placed an order for sunglasses on may 31 and received an email that they shipped on June 2. Said estimated delivery was June 12, then changed to June 3, now says still calculating. I contacted ups and they said the package is still with merchant as they do not have it yet. Wtf? So it was shipped yet ups doesn't have it? No that's not gonna fly. You flipping crooks won't get away with this. And not to mention it's impossible to get them on the phone! Do not ever order from sunglass hut. Com

Worst. Experience. Ever... Still ongoing...
I went to the Sunglass Hut on Michigan Ave (Chicago) to return a pair of sunglasses on January 22nd (it's currently May...) and I was treated so rudely by the associate and she didn't even properly refund my money. I'm still out $30 that she refused to help me get back. The associates from the Sunglass Hut at the Block 37 (State Street) location were MUCH nicer and have been working to help me get my remaining money back but it has been such a struggle. I have called customer care, the audit team, and so many other numbers in between. This experience has been the worst and no one is able to locate my refund check. Absolutely nothing has been done by corporate to remedy or help the situation. I have been getting no communication and have wasted so many hours trying to track down the check. I want my money refunded and something done about all this time wasted.

Poor customer service
October 11, 2022

I bought a pair of sunglasses on the 10 th of September and return it the same day because the lady at the counter said that the shade will get darker outside which did not happen.
4 weeks later i am still waiting for my refund after i complaint to the service desk in Edgards and on social media and to hello peter, the lady that helped me is Jolene in Bloemfontein Waterfront mall, she referred me to her manager Ismaeline, she also telling lies that the money will be transferred the day of the 9th of October, today is the 11 th of October and i still awaiting my reversal funds. They also refusing to tell me what is causing the delay, this is beyond poor client service.

I have opened a police case because this is stealing.

Ordered sunglasses 11/30. Got sent the wrong ones. Sent them back and was told new ones would be sent right out. They weren't. This was a hard year for me work wise and funds were low. My son won't be opening his gift this year. They did refund my afterpay money and I should get it in 10 days. That's great, can't even use it to get something else … what a $#*!ing joke. 26 days since I first bought them and $#*!ing nothing. 26 $#*!ing days. 26 and nothing. Not a thing..

Missing nose pad on sunglasses
September 4, 2023

My husband bought me Ray ban sunglasses for our anniversary and they were missing a nose pad. I tried to return them to the store at Bergen Town Center in Paramus NJ and they accused me that I broke them when they were sold like this to my husband they wanted me to pay to have the nose pad replaced and would not return them. When I asked to speak with the manager the representative told me that there was not one there and would not know when one would be there.

Sunglass Hut's 24 month warranty was not honored. I had a small stress crack in one lens. Brought Ray Ban sunglasses to a store for replacement. I was told that even though that 24 month warranty was on their web site, it was really only one year. I was five days after one year because they were closed for Covid-19. I will not shop at Sunglass Hut again.

Fake glasses

Purchased Armani Exchange sunglasses I was looking forward to receiving them because they're made in Italy good pair of glasses and they were on sale can't beat that price then looked closely stated in China what a rip off paid good money for some cheap knockoffs I don't see how they keep in business and when you call they put this automatic machine they only tell you the store is now closed stay away from the cheap knock offs don't buy from them

Gucci sunglasses started peeling after a couple of months. No response to initial email to luxottica not even to point me in the right direction if not luxottixa. Terrible arrogant service from manager Tyler. Gucci has no number for kering eyewear who apparently manufactures their sunglass. Just B. S all around. They beg you to give them your business and money and leave you stranded. Awful! Will noy ever buy another pair of sunglasses from sunglass

Salespersons are rude and disgusting in hudson bay branch(nearby eaton center, it was on 23 august, saturday). I asked them glass which they didnt have, after i asked to salesperson maybe in other branch you have that sunglasses. He told ohh we dont do it. After my pressure he called to Brampton branch and he told oh they have that model but they cannot find. Its so ridicilious. There were 2 salespersons, man and lady, both were rude! Liar! Lazy! She talked with me rude and yell voic. This is disgusting company, because i tryed complained about them, i talked with 4 persons, waiting calling back. No any call yet!
