My experience with the SupportBuddy tech support has been great. The HP printer that was giving me some or the other kind of issue for the last three months started working absolutely fine in just one call.
Terrible "company"they try to get you to pay extra for services you dont need or really want i lost over 1000$ with them when they said they would refund my money and it all looked very good the numbers were there and just poof gone
All that I had to do to get help from the SupportBuddy techies for my Toshiba PC was a phone call at its help desk number. And the support was indeed fabulous without me having to wait in the queue to get connected with the technicians.
For Mac related issues, SupportBuddy is the best firm get it resolved. Once I encountered a software installation issues in my Mac PC. After trying several times I was unable to fix it, so I decided to call SupportBuddy experts. I called at *******164 Mac Support number and spoke to a techie. He listened to my problem and took the remote access of my PC. He troubleshoots the error and successfully installs the software. Thanks a lot, Buddy.
I was advised to get support buddy to get ride of an unwanted program. I paid $299 in Sept 2016 for a years service according to the invoice received from Support Buddy. I keep getting telephone calls telling me I have other problems. The only problems that I had were when I allowed Support Buddy to make changes to my PC. I have not used Support for anything since the one time in September 2016. I asked them to discontinue calling me, I was told that I owe them money. I have repeatedly hung up on the so-called english speaking person who told me I owed them for work performed. I removed everything I could relating to support using Microsoft uninstall on the Control Panel. On my PC I use Windows 7..
Tip for consumers:
DON'T DO IT.
This is a scam! I was going on to google, then I clicked enter. BAM! A virus came up saying I had to call a number to get my computer fixed. I called the number and what I thought was a nice lady almost locked me out of the computer. We came to this website and saw it was a scam. I went to the computer and I tried to shut it down. The lady moved the mouse away from the shut down sign but I managed to get the mouse to shut down. DONT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS! We were about to spend $500.
In July 2016, I got a bug, and I payed $450 for support buddy to fix. But I got a new computer for college, over christmas and stopped using the previously bugged one. I got a recent phone call from support buddy wanting to refund my account, and when they gained access, they locked me from my computer because they couldn't fund to a Credit Union. They proceeded to go through my files and open my webcamera. I had to shut down my computer and completely reset the whole thing. A giant scam, and a lot of BS. Don't trust them.
Finding a reliable firm is a little dunting task. One such a firm upon which you can rely on is suppprtbuddy. Once i availed its service to get my antivirus issues fixed. I oile their approch of handling the customers.
Great job.
These people are scammers and they send a error or warning message such as BSOD, 268d3, Blue Screen. They send it and claim to provide a legitimate service. Its all a scam. They will tell you to pay to get it fixed. Thats a SCAM. Do not pay any monry and if you did, call your credit card company immediately.
I beleive they will block your computer and a warning signal with their phone#when you call this #they will say they are microsoft partner and will clean your copmuter by charging $179 and will access to your all information. Please do not call them. They are not MS partners totally scam. When Icall Microsoft they denied any partner like support buddy.
The SupportBuddy printer support has lots to offer. And, it does not leave a single stone un-turned in getting your printing machines back to working state.
True! I have started believing and relying over the technical assistance offered by SupportBuddy for the reason that it offers unprecedented quality help.
It was a nice experience availing SupportBuddy technical services for my Sony PC. I encountered a problem with the wireless connectivity of my PC. It was difficult for me to diagnose the problem, so I gave a call to SupportBuddy techies. By taking the remote access of my PC they diagnosed the problem and got my PC connected to a wireless network.
SupportBuddy guys, you all are just the best for PC tech support! You helped me save all my data from being lost. I am extremely thankful and indebted.
Having approached SupportBuddy for curbing the discrepancy that I encountered in one of the Kaspersky tools has been one of my best experiences ever. So prompt and efficient they are. Mind blowing!
I am enthralled with the kind of antivirus support SupportBuddy empowered me with. The guys there are truly amazing at resolving tech discrepancies and deserve kudos.
My laptop was not booting up since a week then one of my friend suggested me about Suppor buddy. They fixed it within very shirt time.
People should go through support buddy!
I would suggest holding off calling their number or getting support from them. Find someone else to come to your home and check your computer out or take it in to a legit computer store or Best Buy to have it looked at.
After reading the other reviews, what happened to me was similar... I had a box pop up saying call this number don't ignore or close, your computer is compromised. I was very skeptical but decided to call but not give out any information however after asking a couple of times who they were and told I wouldn't have to provide over the phone credit card info I succumbed and they accessed my computer but all the time I was concerned that they would access things like passwords and account information. After looking them up and reading the reviews I decided to call and cancel the credit card payment and have them look into it before I loose $349.99 charge for a one year warranty! Or told one time fix for $219.99, for all I know there was nothing wrong with my iMac and it's a scam.
I would not believe people from S. B. even if they told me they really knew who their father was! B. S. Fits them better than SupportBuddy. Why hasn't Calf. Closed them?
My 79 year old mother was using her Mac computer when it froze and a warning appeared on the screen telling her not to shut off the computer lest her computer get damaged. Mysteriously, Support Buddy's phone number also appeared on this warning, telling her to call them so she could fix it. Being naive to this sort of scam, she called the number and Support Buddy charged her $350 to "fix" her computer.
So, HOW DID SUPPORT BUDDY'S NUMBER APPEAR ON THAT WARNING SCREEN, YOU ASK? Because Support Buddy froze her computer in the first place. That's the scam - they seek out naive, unsavvy, unwitting computer users - often the elderly, like my mom - remotely freeze their computer, and then charge them to unfreeze it (using techniques and software, btw, that are totally free).
This company preys on society's most vulnerable. They should be shut down for unethical business practices and be forced to return the money they swindled - and continue to swindle - from vulnerable consumers.
SupportBuddy professionals are truly amazing and so are its tech support services. I have had a great PC support experience with them. Truly, you made my day!
The SupportBuddy should be an all-in-one tech support destination, be it for computer, antivirus, printer or browser. This is because it always succeeds in doing away with the tech glitches.
Hi all Hard working folks,
I confirm Supportbuddy.net is a scam. I have read the posted reviews from the last so many months. I was almost going to be hit by there racket. It all starts with a 'locked up' screen with instruction to call a toll free number - that's where cyber crime begins. The recipient of the call on the other side identifies himself as 3rd party company partnered with Microsoft. For solving problem they will like to remote login into your computer -Suspicious Behavior - (SB) #0 by telling that they are using remote diagonostic tools - (SB) #1. When I asked where are they located they would not tell - SB #3. For me three strikes and you are out. In fact I did further investigation of their identity based on which more than convinced that this case needs to be reported for cyber crime. I'm trying to find out who can help. If some one has any lead and would like to share and I'll do the rest.
Thanks. I hope you find this narration credible and at least protect your resources - hardware devices as well as your data.
Several years ago I used this company via the recommendation of another person. I had no idea I was still on their list of customers since I had not used them for some time. Recently, they began calling me again, and again and again... Then, they stated that this past May I renewed their services but I did not remember nor wanted to use them again. They debited my card (I checked and sure enough) for $299 but I do not remember even talking to them. Now, they are contending they are an official support technical company for Microsoft who is having problems with their software and my computer is about to crash and I have to pay them an additional $751. They began calling me every day and at all times of the day and night to the point they are calling around 5:30 a.m. and as late as tonight at 1:00 a.m. on an ANONYMOUS telephone line which does not display the telephone number they are calling from. Not only am I reporting this to as many places as I can because of the scamming but to the local, state and national law officials. I am getting my telephone number changed which I have had for about 30 years. This is a horrific ordeal for a recently widowed 68 year old woman who does not bother anyone for anything. I am having my own issues trying to deal with my precious husband's death and now these "Indian or Pakistan" (not American Indian) speaking people are harassing me. If anyone else is having this same problem, please report them to as many entities as necessary to get their licenses revoked
I subscribed to Support Buddy in April 2016, and paid $600.00 for support. In October 2016 I was hacked twice and asked for an additional $300.00 by wire transfer, not by credit card to fix my computer. I realized that something was wrong, and cancelled my account. I have been waiting for a promised wire transfer since October 2016. These people are crooks, have committed corporate fraud, extorsion, and cyber crime.
Do not under any circumstances use this organization, they will not even respond
To your e-mails or phone calls, I have contacted the FBI Fraud Division regarding this issue. They need to be charged and put out of business.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCIES, DO NOT USE SUPPORT BUDDY!
