Sur La Table offers great product at a good price, but never have I had to reach out for any issues before, and now knowing how great their service is, I will definitely keep them in mind on future online purchases. I purchased several drinking glasses for Thanksgiving and a few of them (although packaged well) arrived cracked or broken. So I emailed them and Sebastian responded right away and took care of everything, and even had my glasses shipped and delivered before the holiday which was only a few days away! I can't thank you enough for making it such an easy process and helping me out so quickly.
I was extremely dissatisfied with receiving a clear factory second/reject half-sheet perforated Silpat baking sheet I received. Although Customer Service initially tried to deny my refund despite it looking terrible and uneven, way different from the other Silpat I bought in the order (non-perforated) that is in perfect condition and extremely high quality, I was eventually able to cajole a refund from them and they admitted it was defective. I am still irritated how much time and effort I had to expend to get a refund as navigating CS was tiring. They were initially very cavalier about my complaint and made me work for it to get offered a refund. This very terrible experience has made me completely lose trust in what I had thought was a great company based on my in-person visits to the Sarasota, FL location in the past. It also helps ruin the reputation of Silpat.
Their website says that if a lower price is found that they will match it. There are NO EXCLUSIONS mentioned nor is there a link to a "terms and conditions". At this URL https://www.surlatable.com/guarantee.html - It simply says, "The best price. We like to think you're getting the best value around. If you see a lower price somewhere else, just let us know—we'll match it." That is not true. Amazon - not a 3rd party seller but Amazon itself - had a lower price and they say they will not match Amazon. They kept talking about other pages on the site that have more info yet they do not have a link in the main statement. This is terribly dishonest and misleading and their customer service and even the escalated rep were really, really awful. They tried to say that Amazon does not buy directly from the vendor, Emile Henry, yet I ordered the item from Amazon (in addition to the one from SLT) and the inner box has a label from Emile Henry to Amazon! The worst retail online experience I think I have ever had.

I purchased a product from this company on May 10th indicating 2 day free shipping and received tracking information from UPS that the package would be delivered Friday, May 13. When it failed to arrive I reached out to customer service to let them know I had not received my package. They indicated that they would look into it. Subsequently, after also contacting UPS, the message of delivery changed to it will be updated. It stayed that way for 2 days with no updates. I emailed Sur la table again indicating that UPS had no clue where my package was and that I should have Sur la table launch an investigation which I had already done. Since I receive no response from them I emailed them again that at this point I wanted a refund. Again, no reply so this morning I called them indication that as of this morning UPS still had no idea where my package was and that I wanted a refund. The rude customer service agent said he would look into it and email me back with what they could do, which was basically nothing. I never heard back from customer service, not surprised. Now UPS states the package will be delivered no later than today May 16 They all lie, fail to do their jobs and leave the customer hanging. Sur la table could care less if you get the merchandise because they have your money and UPS hides all movement of the package and takes the attitude that you'll get it when the feel like getting it to you. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT DO BUSINESS with either of these companies.

I ordered an $18 glass loaf pan because it was 11" ( 1.5 L, 1.6 qt) O Cuisine from Sur la Table. Out the door tax and shipping was $26. It was a present for my siter who lives no whre near a Sur la Table store.
In reality it was 9.75x 4x 3 so essentially the 9x5 loaf pan she already had.
I called customer service who initally said hello, no name, no company (? Working from home and when I questioned if I called a private residence then hung up) When I called back again, got a man who identified the company and his name and told me that I could return it for a $12 shipping label. No thanks. That this compnay took no resonsibility for mislabeling of products, would not refund.
Done will not shop here again. For $26 bucks to lose a customer who both bakes and cooks is not a wise business practice.

As the product was no where near a Sur la table store , to order a $`12 shipping label from them and then have to go to the post office after having spent a total of $26 for the $18 item was too ridiculous so this counts as no refund in my book

My 10 yr old took 2 of the kids series classes this summer in Boulder CO…don't waste your money! They don't have enough Chefs who can work with kids.
The 1st week he took it, it was cancelled the last day so they never got to finish the week and we had to go back and pick up the cook book and apron…never got the 10% coupon to purchase something in the store. He was super disappointed.
Tried it again…. He just went this past week to another kids series and after Thursday's class in Boulder he was in tears as I came to get him and see what he made. Chef Debbie took over the class for the rest of the week starting that Weds. Was very short tempered with the kids (it was obvious she only works with adults) and Thursday told them they cannot take any of the food out of the classroom if it was warm they had to eat it there. Mind you there is nothing on their website that says the children will not be able to take the food home after each class, which he had done that previous week in June and the current week up to that Thursday. The kids were able to take food home after every class.
When I asked her about the inconsistencies of the rules she threw every chef in that store under the table and said they've all been wrong in letting the kids take warm food out of the class all summer
My son was so proud of the chicken, dumplings, and fried rice he made, he wanted his dad to try it when he got home and left in tears when he had to dump all the food in the trash. The trash was full of all the uneaten food that had been cooked. Some parents were just taking the food out of the classroom anyway as my son was crying, but that Chef Debbie was focused on us snd would not allow us to take anything out of the room.
I complain to the manager told her I would like a refund for the last couple days of class because I will not make him to come back the next day, my son was super traumatized after this and wants nothing to do with cooking again. I was told the main manager the store would call me back, Donna, but never received a phone call.
Save your money find a better cooking program for your children! Sur La Table has major issues! We never received a callback from anybody at the store in Boulder as they said they would follow up with us. Horrible cooking classes for kids!
