I DID finally receive full payment. All total I have made $645.00 since early OCtober 2019. Their customer service has been consistent, taking 48 hours to respond. I do hope they continue to provide surveys for me to complete. I will post a monthly update. Happy New Year!
Get ready for nothing but anti-conservative surveys that glorify liberals and spread false narratives in an effort to sway those who must be senile or brain dead. And good luck sending in pics of your driver's license or passport, along with a selfie, in order to get any type of compensation. You're lucky if you can make $10 a day while giving up your personal information nonstop.
I am new to the whole survey-taking-for-rewards universe, so I can't speak to how it used to be. But, based on my current experience (last 2-3 weeks), this is some messed up stuff! When you sign up, they ask for a lot of personal information-including email and phone. I opted NOT to offer up my cellphone number, but did include my email. Since I have been "working", I receive at least 10 spam emails a day-sometimes more, from 3rd parties who bought my contact info from various survey sites. I am very thankful I didn't provide a phone number-otherwise, my phone would be ringing all day. Survey Junkie is actually one of the better sites, as they do actually pay out rewards when eligible. If you are debating whether or not this is a good side hustle, it is not.
This company is truthful, you will only complete 1 out of every 5, or so surveys. But what they do not tell you is that often, you will spend 10, 15, 20 minutes, or more taking a survey, only to be informed that you do not qualify and receive either 2 or 3 points. These 2 or 3 points convert to 2 or 3 CENTS! So spending 15 minutes to earn 3 cents means you are being paid 12 CENTS PER HOUR! Keep this in mind when you start taking surveys. You are going to have this happen to you many, many times. If you don't value your time very highly, then sign up and take these surveys. But if you feel that your time is worth more than a few pennies per hour, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

I recently thought I'd give SJ a shot, so I set up my profile and got started. Statistically, I am a divorced, retired, caucasion woman with some college and a social security income under $20,000 a year. After answering a dozen or so questionnaires to qualify for an actual survey, the only responses I got were that I was not eligible to move forward to the any of these surveys. It seems that mine are not the demographics that interest any of the companies paying for surveys. This is fine, but, just a heads-up, if making $1.64 for 45 minutes of your time seems worthwhile, then go for it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Wasted about a day taking surveys and when I finally reach five bucks, I can't have it. They claim to require photo id. They provide an app for that. The app reports a clear photo on my CDL as blurry. Same for my wifes dl and her employer id. NONE of these photos are blurry and both of out phone camera lenses are clean. This is just an excuse to not actually payout. It's a scam.
Tip for consumers:
I've said my peice. Survey Junkie is a scam.

Nothing. It's a survey company that purports to pay people for their opinions and doesn't actually pay.
This app used to be good not worth it anymore. Surveys pay way less and are more longer than they used to. Also hate the way you have to verify everything now including phone number and ID and a photo of you. Didn't need to do that before. This app is Going downhill
In my opinion, this is one of the worst examples of time and personal information thievery out there! You can begin a survey, then 10 minutes into it, a screen pops up that says "Uh-oh, you didn't qualify for this survey. Try another one!:" This, after you've already filled out 10-20 pages of information. This happens repeatedly. Probably only 1 out of 15 surveys is legitimate. It's total waste of time. I would have given it zero stars if I could have. They should be shut down.
Tip for consumers:
It's a scam, IMO.

At first, it was great. I loved this site and told everyone about it. But, I was just about to cash in $31.83, but I had to contact support. Emailed twice and got nothing. I waited two weeks. I emailed the third time and got an automated response saying I've violated rules and so I can't cash out or do surveys anymore. I made a total of $111.98 but didn't get that $31.83, so I made much less than that. Still a good amount for me since I'm 17 and still looking for a job. I've been with the site since July of 2018, but now I can't do anything because I "violated rules". I was honest about literally everything in the surveys and was consistent and I took my time with the surveys. So, what did I do wrong? Most certainly nothing, but I'm guessing they're just really picky about who they want to get money. What a joke.
Tip for consumers:
Cash out each time you get $10, so you can't get cheated out by the crap system

I have gone back and forth many times, trying to redeem my points. Nothing is being done. I have asked them to call me. No call. Keep getting told they've reset so I could now do it. Doesn't work. Emails are short and ridiculous in giving any help. Tired of the runaround. Have asked to just send me a check and wipe out the points. No answer. I've seen ads saying that most surveys are between 100 and 200 hundred points. Don't believe it! Guess BBB is next.
Survey Junkie may be a legit company, and easy to sign up for, but getting paid is a whole other issue.
They want you to provide a extreme amount of personal information, provide copy of your government issue photo ID. And if you try to call them, you must agree that they can perform a credit check on you, just to talk with them.
Sounds like a perfect way for an identity thief to get you information.
Despite my multiple communications and attempts to get the money owed from the site, unless I subjected myself to providing ng obscene amounts of personal information they wouldn't do anything
My advice stay away
I've used this site beautifully for months - no issues. Past few days I get a "surveys not available" message so I send an email to ask if there's a problem with the site. They tell me they're not able to help me because I've violated at least one term of use. WHAT? As I've said, I've not had an issue with the site for MONTHS. No problems. So I ask what term I violated... crickets. I'm extremely upset.
They barely want to pay and they trick you into filling out all the surveys just to at the very last moment give you 3pts for a 25 min survey and this has happened to me several times now it's to the point where reviewers who accused survey junkie of being shady with their business practices seem even more credible
I was collecting points for a $50 gift card, once I got close to it, they shut me off! They won't pay for the hours I spent filling out surveys! I'm so mad, there no contact numbers, and you can't e mail them because they block you. I'm so mad.
I love this website i cashed out twice now and I barely spent any time on it never had any problems receiving money. For everyone that's having problems of error code 14 clear your internet data/cache. It worked for me after i did that.
Run by disgusting crooks. Make you work your $#*! off and then play games when it comes to cashing in on the measly money you make. So many times you finish a whole grueling survey just to be told you didn't qualify. Sad how such businesses exploit those who need the money.
I've been a ‘Survey Junkie' member since March and enjoy the extra income from taking surveys anytime and anywhere! I've used my ‘points' for Walmart & Target gift cards and feel great getting things for ‘free' ‼
I've taken dozens of surveys and haven't passed one. They say your supposed to pass about 1 out of every five, but it's bs. It looked cool at first but it's really a waste of time. Highly recommend not using it. It would be better if i actually passed some and got more points but the site's wacked.
I wished I had researched more before signing up with Survey Junkie. After finishing several surveys over a couple of weeks, and reaching the 1,000 pts. I tried to redeem and was told I need to verify my identity before redeeming my points and that it could take 5 to 7 business days. They have my name, address, and phone number in their data base. Why should I need to reverify? Is their website that unsecured? If so, I question their security.
I have used SJ for a couple years now and had no problems until now. All of a sudden, I don't get any surveys and can't get a payout for $13.09 because my "account needs a review", but I can't get an answer from customer support to do that. I hope their problems are solved soon because I was really happy with them before.
Too many surveys on this site will claim you "don't qualify" therefore will not be compensated for your time, even if you have filled out the survey in it's entirety. Another ploy used to not compensate you is to send up an "error" page, but once again, not until they have sucked up a monumental amount of time and information. Overall, they aren't worth the time spent and I would not encourage anyone to use this service
They will get you to answer a lot of questions in a survey then suddenly tell you the survey is "full" or you don't qualify. This is after you've answered 20 or more questions. Also, they have you answer the same questions over and over - age, gender, race, location, education, income. Sometimes these are asked 2 or 3 times in the same survey.
I started doing surveys earlier this year and cashed out once for $49 with no problems. I let my points build up for a couple of months and tried to redeem 1st week of November. I had like ******* points so I needed customer support approval. Guess what... now they don't know me. Repeated emails, give us your PayPal verification email, anything not to pay up. I filed a complaint with the BBB so hopefully I'll get my money someday. UPDATE: On November 15, Survey Junkie sent me an email saying they put all my money in my PayPal account, which I immediately transferred to my bank. Hooray!
Don't use this if you aren't a very patient person. You will be turned down from surveys if you aren't a good fit. That can be frustrating at times, but if you continue sticking to it everything will work out. There are plenty of surveys, so no need to worry. Don't expect to get rich ether. They do pay probably the best out of every survey website I've seen, but that isn't saying much. They do pay though, and it's not too complicated to get your money as long as you put in the right information.
While yes, you can take surveys and earn money, It really restricts you from earning your money you spent time on. It took me 3 hours to attempt to get my cash, and I never got past the verification process. I don't recommend wasting your time on taking the surveys, you won't really get what you really earned.
This survey site does pay, I have cashed out several times before. The average pay per survey attempted was 15 cents. You need a phone number to "verify identity". HOWEVER, the last time I cashed out, I had to fight through emails for 4 days to cash out $13 dollars. A phone number does NOT verify who somebody is!
Tip for consumers:
You will need a phone to "verify identity".
Payouts are outrageously low considering the time put in to the surveys. More and more often now so many survey takers complain of spending upwards of 30 minutes on a survey only to be told they do not quality. Then there is the infamous " survey is full " message that pops up after completing a survey. FWIW I was one of the best survey takers according to feedback from survey junkie. Only managing to take in approx $9 per day for a month or so. After this time period, then available surveys became few and far between. Basically, you are cut off upon completing a set number of surveys. There is absolutely nothing to recommend about survey junkie or maybe taking surveys in general. Don't make the same mistake countless others make when it comes to taking surveys.
