Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.

I got a target credit card because they offered a $50 off coupon. You can only use it for purchases over $50 with a very long list of exclusions. I tried to use it today when I was making a large purchase. Apparently, it expired yesterday. I spent 40 minutes on the phone being passed around. Finally I reach someone who tells me tough luck. They won't extend the coupon one day. I'm done with target. I won't ever shop there again. "Tough luck" to them.🤬🤬🤬

I just purchased a H2O simm card from Target. This is one of the few places to purchase the card. I spent over an hour on the phone with H2O updating and installing the new card and found out that it was an old card. The date of the card is 2018. This makes my phone unable to send or receive pictures of any kind. Skip the BS and just get your simm card sent from H2O, it will save you a lot of headaches. Not the first time of experiences getting out dated merchandise.

I can call in to check a gift card balance WITHOUT an account or password but I am forced to login to my account if I want to check the balance online. Target does not need to know my personal information as to the balance of my gift card. If I don't have an account does that mean I can only check via calling? Are there any brains in corporate American anymore? The most senseless thing. One brain cell will take you far.

I placed a order for pick up at the inver grove heights, mn location. Upon calling and wantng to be connected to guest services on a question. After being connected to this department there was no answer, the phone would ring and ring and then it would disconnect. I tried several times during the day and no answer. Upon speaking to my daughter she stated that they never answer their phone and she has tried many times in the past year to check on things and always no answer. Whats up with the customer service at this store.

Purchases online earned a 10 dollar gift card.
When used the gift card in store towards purchases, I noticed the next day that they charged my bank account as a separate transaction for the $10 card. Waited on phone call to customer service 28 mins, to no avail. WHAT A SCAM! THIS IS WHY I SELDOM SHOP AT TARGET.
Tip for consumers:
Won't do it again. I will stick to Walmart for toiletries.

The service in Beaumont TX store is very poor. I went there to pick up an order placed online. When I arrived there were 4 people ahead of me in the line. Soon there were 6 people behind me. There was only one associate working the pickup orders. She had to work the front service deck and go to the back of the store to retrieve the orders. I was there 45 minutes just to pick up an order. I asked for a manager. A dept. manager came; not the manager of this dept. Another dept. manager came. Then an assistant manager. The manager refused to come to speak with me. The store was not full considering it is one week before Christmas. There was merchandise on the floor in the women's clothing areas, the floors were actually dirty, associates avoid eye contact to discourage customers from asking for assistance. I left my phone number and asked that the manager contact me. It has been 7 hours since I left the message. I do not expect a call. She was too cowardly or apathetic to speak with a concerned customer. These are the reasons that most customers prefer shopping the largest online retailer. This may be just another store to shutter in Beaumont, not from low demand but because of extremely poor customer service and the ineffective and inefficient management.

Ordered from target.com, picked up 1 of 3 packages. Told the other packages did come to the store, there is no record of pickup. Called store. They agreed that the packages came to store, and they are aware they were not picked up. Store told me to call Target.com for refund, since they cannot find packages and they know I didn't pick them up. Target.com said: "No refund for you!" Just like that! Target.com said that I wanted to receive free packages by stealing them and asking for a refund. Stolen from where? They came to the store and the store shipping clerk acknowledged receiving them, and there was no pickup. I didn't get my order and wanted my $33-$35 back.
Target.com said: No, and we're tired of talking with you. Enjoy your holiday - minus your money, we're keeping your payment, no refund. Wow, setting the standard for excellent
Customer service. And just like that, my money is stolen from me - no exchange of goods or services for my money, not even a gift card. Too scared to even go back. Will I be assaulted and frisked, money stolen at the door? Target is REALLY making money ($33-$35). They are such a superstore they don't even have to sell you the goods, just take your money, no matter how small the amount. Amazing customer relation strategy - I didn't receive my whole order, but Target.com gets to keep the
money I paid in advance for the order? I never understood online ordering before, but I do now: you may or may not get your goods, but your money is theirs from the start. I am not a gambler.

1) Buying with their customer pick up service today in East Memphis, TN 6/25/24: they require waiting in line with all those who have returns or disputes, then waiting for someone to shorten the long line, then waiting for someone to run to the other side of the store for the product. No uniforms so unclear who's staff and who's not. Total wait: 25 minutes for toothpaste.
2) Not a good company. They bow to all left-wing activist demands, aiding the exploitation of kids that has become so common in this modern version of the USA which is held hostage to the hyenas of sexual perversion. When they were finally forced to relent by the backlash, they did not apologize. Given today's experience, I now intend to maintain a strict boycott of them indefinitely.

This store is going down hill really fast. Their products are cheap and the cost is high. The North Scottsdale store has one of the worst store managers i have ever seen. The less I shop here the better.

I'm looking for a men's sport coat... been 20+ years. Need to try on. Search engines were worthless in finding a 'local' business. Settles for Target - has good selection and only 50 miles away...
Except all of the prices are 'online purchase', just like the way Walmart.com does - bait and switch, shows one price but when you get into the store, price is way different. Guess Target doesn't want people going into their stores either, just order online and have someone bring out to your car.
Since I don't know my size anymore, guess I'll order online, have them bring it out to my car, try it on and if it doesn't fit, refuse it and just sit in my car and order a different size for them to bring out to me.
Tip for consumers:
I really don't understand why business websites with 'brick and mortar' stores can stay in business - ship item to store, pay employee to put onto shelf, pay employee to get from shelf and repackage, then take out to customer, while charging a lower price than the shelf price. Can't be very profitable...

During a power outage, I looked for a USB fan with my phone, which I HATE when I have PC with 4 monitors, but the power was out. I also have plenty of power 'bricks' for recharging my phone and tablet... so a fan shouldn't be a problem.
First, the website gave me what I was looking for... and the 2nd item is a car plugin, not USB, the 4th item is a wall plug-in fan, the 5th item is battery powered (only),... Guess Target's search engine is based on Google's search engine.
Next, I tried to give feedback, but the 'Feedback' button at the bottom of the webpage doesn't do anything. So I tried the 'Contact Us', but that seems to be only restricted to 'orders'... but they offer a 'chat', which I won't attempt on my phone (I do not text).
Lastly, why do they show 'when purchased online' pricing? What's the price if I walk into the store... like Walmart.com, 20% to 100+% higher priced?
Tip for consumers:
Has minimum $35 purchase for free shipping... fans were mainly less than $20.
Showing the price difference between online and in-store would be nice... so I can decide on 100 mile round trip or shipping...
They really need to fix 'feedback' button!

I picked up an order at the Lee's Summit,Mo store today and the girl that helped me was very smug. I asked her if she wanted the basket I had because there was several items she didn't even look at me and said no it won't fit back here. She brings my order out in the same size cart lol. She doesn't say thank you or anything and walks off. Talk about rude and disrespectful. I'm used to it now most workers don't care about customers.

I've been buying from Target and using their curbside pickup for years but their employees are getting worse and worse. I picked up an order today in Lee's Summit and the guy that brought me the order was a teenager that was rather rude. In the past the employees were very nice saying have a nice day after bringing the order but now they just toss the bags in and walk off. This is a problem in most stores across the US it's not just this one store or company.

Pre-sale should be a pre-crime.
Looking at the receipt of an online order from Targé, I noticed a new charge, it is called Regional Fees. Regional Fees opens up to tell you: "Regional Fees - Fee Total $1.00 - Bag Fee 1.00
Regional fees are based on your address and/or pickup store location.
Bag Fee
Bag fees are required by law in your area. This estimated bag fee is for the cost of 10 bags at this store. You'll only be charged for the bags used for your order. For Drive Up or Order Pickup orders, the final bag fee can be refunded at pickup if you decline bags or bring your own. If an EBT card has been applied as payment on your order, bag fees will not be charged."
That is, Target, is pre-charging you for something that you might be interested in purchasing. I hope this heinous practice is not adopted by other underhanded businesses, or they will be pre-charging a 50K dollar Regional Fee next time I am window shopping for a used car.

My experiences with Target delivery have been a mix of positive and negative. On the plus side, Target offers a wide range of products available for delivery, from groceries to household items. Additionally, their delivery tracking system provides updates on the status of orders, allowing customers to monitor their shipments. However, there are areas for improvement. Delivery times can be inconsistent, with some orders arriving later than expected. Furthermore, the packaging of items can be subpar, leading to damage during transit. Overall, while Target offers convenience, enhancements in delivery reliability and packaging would improve the overall service.

Target is my favorite one-stop shop for everything from groceries to home decor to clothing. The store layout is well-organized, making it easy to find what I need, and the prices are competitive. I also appreciate Target's commitment to sustainability and their diverse range of products. Whether I'm stocking up on essentials or treating myself to something special, Target always delivers.

Would give zero if I could. Target.com reguarly ships product with ZERO packing materials. I have complained multiple times. They also use cheap shipping service (surepost). Over half shipments arrive damaged. Because of no packing materials, the collectibles inside were damaged. Yet they will not process a return for a damaged item that THEY shipped using THEIR shipper of choice and THEY decided to put no packing materials in the box. Their customer service states they have to esculate to a specialist that will call me in 5-7 days. I have a video and photos! What is there to esculate? What happened to customer service? Worst service of all the retailers. Never buy collectibles here.

I tried to make a PayPal payment but received errors. I called PayPal and they said there was no issue with my account, I understood. I paid for an order using PayPal earlier today and for other orders lately and there were no PayPal payment issues.
I then called Target and spoke to a woman who thought it was a PayPal account issue. She couldn't understand that the problem was with their OWN website. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and then I was disconnected. I called again and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor but was told basically she couldn't transfer me and or there was no one to transfer me to. She also could not understand that the errors were because of their OWN website after telling her multiple times that there was no problem ordering an item earlier today and also at other times too lately, I believe I may have said using PayPal. Finally, I disconnected the call.

Not sure if you made some kind of back alley deal with a group of homeless clown gypsies on LSD, but that's what your clothing looks like now. I haven't shopped at Target in years since you started regurgitating clothing that even the 80's didn't want. I used to get most of my clothes from there, but now… well I actually have standards. And it looks like you tossed yours to the wind.

My home oven broke so I ordered a countertop oven for pickup. So many issues but the worst was how rude customer service was. Not only did they not help he also cut me off and ended the chat abruptly. I took screenshots of the end of the chat too. That's target for a wonderful holiday.

I think that prices could be lower than what the store has them at and that it should jack the prices up because of the store name and that quality of the stuff should also be important to them and not the price and that customer service could be better or at least more polite and that it could have the layout of the store easier to get around in and understand where things are at.

I went to Target in Westlake Village to buy a coffee maker, nothing fancy. The Hamilton Beach was on sale, and I got it, paid $25+ tax. When I got home, the package was missing the basket.
If the merchandise was defective, why don't you make that obvious? I think this is cheating the customer. Very annoyed. Does not deserve even one star, but the system does not let you write a review without.

Buyer beware of Target.com - I recently made a purchase on Target.com - wherein I had to navigate through pop up boxes which tried to sell me a "protection plan" for the item I bought. Which was a simple $40 desk lamp. The pop up is automatically set to "yes, protect me" - you can't click the X - as I though as I was charged for the plan. In the Order Detail on my account, it said it's non-refundable. It took a phone call and a nice customer service person to refund me the money charged for the plan. Which is why I give Target.com 3 stars vs. 1. Someone in their Marketing Department needs to be fired for conducting business this way. Are your finances in that much peril Target?

I like how Target still sells compact discs. I know it's so common today where most music is downloaded online but I'm old school when it comes to music and like the hard copy. I found at Target Taylor Swift's 2 new compact discs Folklore and Evermore. As usual The store was clean and staff was attentive. Both discs are very good very mellow. Thanks Target for still selling compact discs.
