Target has a rating of 2.3 stars from 1,739 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Target most frequently mention customer service, gift card, and online order problems. Target ranks 3rd among Department Store sites.
Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
In a time when Sears and even Macy's is struggling you would think Target would at least TRY to put out better products. Their clothes are of such low quality that it is disgusting. People are fooled by the idea of them partering with big designers for lines but those small lines are of such horrid quality they are not worth buying. I also think their prices are out of this world for the quality they are selling. Don't even try to buy toys there, keep your kids out of the toy isle or you will be broke. They are by far competitors. Michelle Obama became a brand ambassador but it still did nothing for the quality of the clothes sold their. I get mad when my husband wants to go there to buy work clothes. I always win. I am not buying clothes again in 6 months. Let that big red ball just bounce right by me. You have to have something the people will come back for to stay in business. Junk! People would do better going to a thrift store buying high end brands then those at Target.

I started shopping at Target.com before Christmas last year. It was nice since they offered free shipping if you spent a certain amount of money. Shipping time was really fast, about 2 days later. Which is really surprising but very nice. The cons of shopping at Target online is that not all items are available for delivery, they were in store only. Which is not a viable option for me since the closest store (that I know of) is over 3 hours away. I would love it if more items were made available for delivery. The prices are good on some items and then there are some that seem way overpriced to me.

The disadvantages of ordering on line and told order now receive order by 12/23/16. Then on 12/22/16 you ger an email that states sorry your order will not make it until after the holidays. Thanks alot Target don't worry about me ordering anything else online.

I bought a dog sweater from Target.com about 2 weeks ago, and got the email notifying me of its arrival at my local store. The email stated that I had 48 hours to pick up the item. I didn't receive the email until after 5 on Friday, Labor Day weekend. Seriously? Not even a single normal business day - just two days on a holiday weekend.
I called to see if anything could be done about it, but no, it's their policy. End of story. Is this what they call customer service? Every other store in town will give you a week or more to pick up an item, and nobody expects you to make a pick-up on a holiday weekend. And the customer service rep I spoke with had an "I really couldn't be bothered" attitude, which didn't help a bit.
I have ordered quite a few things from Target.com and had them shipped to me, but this was the first time I had anything shipped to the store for pick-up. Never again. They have finally lost my business for good.

We are very disappointed by putting the flags colors of homosexuals on the baby's clothes and toys. You completely ignore the millions of Christians who believes in the creation of almighty God. You can't choose one let other's dawn you store for everyone so don't humiliate one please others. This is against God and against millions of people who believes there is one kind of marriage that is man and woman. Please don't involve the unborn baby's who have no clue about this messy situation. Take it out of your stores otherwise God's hand is on you and we will raise our voice in public.

I recommend target to family and friends. I love to go there and walk around to make my lists, love to buy presents in store or online.
A few things to avoid purchasing: Moschino brand fabric is not long lasting, jewelry is not good quality either.
Plus: target has $1 to $3 areas that have a lot of interesting toys, books, snacks and accessories and plenty of affordable good toys and musical instruments.
For delivery, I did run into one or two incidents but for most I was satisfied.

I love shopping at Target. They have very nice products, 5% off and free shipping. The return policy is great. They will refund you with no questions asked. I do more online shopping than in store. The shipping is fast and well packaged. Thanks Target. Keep up the good work.

I seriously am about to quit target due to them only having good and gather options. It's literally the only option sometimes when I'm looking for name brand. I refuse to buy any good and gather because it's so in your face and forced.

I do like shopping there. It is bright. In general it is easy to find things there. Many good sales. But, yes there is always the "but." Until my last trip I enjoyed using their mobile phone app to locate items in the store where I am shopping. Now they have updated their app, removing this great tool. Very frustrating.

I could spend a good part of my Saturday at target, and usually do. They have very helpful employees and the sale items at the ends of the isles make me happy. Sure I might not need the 12 pack of shiny dresser knobs, but they're only $4! I'll find something to use them with haha

They let people with a full buggy and loads of coupons in the express line. I had to walk out 2 times without my groceries. Also don't go to the restroom with a shopping cart, they will put your things up before you come out. How frustrating. Prices are also too high.

I stopped shopping at Target, though I liked the store, after they have allowed Men to go into the Ladies Room if they "feel like a Woman today." How many little girls will be assaulted due to this new rule? If they would like to accommodate true trans-gender people they should install a bathroom just for them. Shame on Target or any other store such as Walgreen's that have implemented this new policy.
Sincerely,
Cricket H.

Used to shop at walmart but we got tired of dealing with rude & ignorant employees and customers. Target stores are clean, don't have the ghetto atmosphere walmart has, employees in glen burnie are great, very helpful & courteous plus after getting lots of free $5 & $10 gift cards on every trip you notice prices are much lower with all the freebies at Target

Any store that lets men use lady's restrooms isn't getting my business. That's just asking for trouble. What if a little girl is in there and some man that says he identifies as a female came in there and molested her. Where's Target then? Don't shop at Target.

Went in to find Botanics face cream which they had been stocking. Gone and only No7 available on shelves with no price for any of that merchandise. Checked on line for Botanics which looked like they had it but didn't. Probably could order but I was already in the store. You never know what brands will be there or gone. Not my go to store.

Worst customer service ever! I ordered a crib from Target.com for a baby shower gift and what arrived was a book shelf. I asked cs if he can issue a call tag for UPS to pick up the package since it was 65 lbs which I can't carry to a local UPS store. They said no and basically couldn't do anything to help except email a return label and order it again on the website which the process will take another month. All I wanted was target to fix the issue in a quick reasonable time but they could care less. I ordered the gift a month ahead before the event and now I have to look elsewhere.

I ordered with target.com and was sent incorrect sizes. How is a size small confused with a size xl. I was also missing a necklace... really? The customer service was great but they need to be better with their shipping department. The whole point of shopping online is to NOT have to deal with the in person thing. I ended up returning all of the stuff i really wanted in the store and managed to exchange a few of the clothes. But Why not just refund me for what is unavailable in my size. Get it together, target.
Shipping is a bit lengthy too because They use fedex.

I buy pretty much all of my clothes from target. From underpants to socks, shirts, pants, singlets to t-shirts & polo's. I don't think I've ever been confronted with a unpleasant or obnoxious staff member at Target either, which makes every shopping experience at Target not only practical & useful but also satisfying & delightful.

This place is one of our favorite store to get groceries. Their product looks fresh and organized. I also like to get my beauty products from here. Don't forget to signup on their app to be member of target circle. As a member you can have loyalty programs from them such as rewards for your birthday and etc. Their employees also very welcome and friendly. Definately will come back soon.

I don't understand why target allowed the ceo of honey pot to choose her words for the commercial. Color shouldn't have anything to do with starting your own company... if you work hard, you succeed. That's a principle and FACT of life. Does this suggest that most white girls work harder, if the commercial is suggesting that there are hardly any African American females who own their own business?
Please don't put the words color and success in the same sentence, for they are not related... the words "work hard" and success are more appropriate.
Thank you.

After their bathroom policy
And then accusing my wife of not paying for something ( she had nothing they later apologized) if they were selling $100 bills for. 50 I wouldn't shop there they are greedy, self serving and treat their employees like scum. They have no full time people so they don't have to pay benefits Shop Walmart!

I placed an order on Target.com on 8/30. It was supposed to arrive on 9/8. When it did not arrive, I chatted with them but the chat guy could not help because he could not find the order. I called the help line and they were going to fix it or credit the $25 gift card I used. However, no other emails have arrived. I have had my $ taken by Target and when I tried to call today, I was hung up on twice. Finally got some one to refund the money but took over $45.00 of my time and still no email from Target telling me the order was cancelled.
