Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
Ordered gift cards online 12/18 and upon check out was informed they would arrive 12/27, after Christmas. Called and cancelled my ordered with target.com and went to local store and purchased directly from store. A few days later the gift cards show up on my doorstep. Some reps that I have spoken to say they see that the cards were cancelled and some reps says it was not cancelled. It is a huge ordeal and still has not been resolved. 10 days from being a month dealing with this issue.

After shopping Target for 25 years without warning they canceled my two Target credit cards. No late payments. I have an 800 plus credit score. They said they were canceled due to lack of use. The fact I had spent many thousands of dollars using much lower interest cards meant nothing. Have a card canceled drops your score. In my case not much. However it ticks me off as a very good customer They did this because I elected to save significant money using cards other than theirs. They have forever lost me as a customer.

The Salvation Army performs a non-discriminating support of the poor, homeless, and destitute. There is no religious test, and no proselytization to be helped. They need funds all year, and once a year their store Santa bell ringers do their passive thing in front of stores during the holidays, but not welcomed at the bigoted Target chain for years now. The Salvation Army has consistently the lowest overhead of any charity in the world! I will never trade at Target or recommend anyone else to do that as long as they rebuff the Salvation Army fund drive.

Placed an order for home delivery. Items were missing, the app would not allow me to "report an issue". Proceeded to send an email to support, and rather than imply resolve it, I was told I have to call Shipt. Target takes absolutely NO ownership; it's ridiculous that Target has now lost a customer for a less than $4.00 error.
Tip for consumers:
Beware home delivery! If items are missing, Target will not take responsibility.

Great, Great Company. Stay away from selling those crazy GreenDot Prepaid cards because if someone buys the junk card from your store that person will be unhappy. But you Guys and Girls have been great and customer service is much better than Walmart. Your store has style! Only the Best!

Target is the place to find what you need at a low price. They have a large variety of things offered to meet your needs. They have wide, clean aisles to maneuver around in, making it easy to shop with kids. They have about everything you need in one place, which is a bonus for busy moms. I do wish that they would offer more variety in plus size clothing. They have tons of teeny bopper clothing and not as much for larger sizes. Overall, they are a good place to shop at and I'm pleased with my past purchases.

They have different varieties of collections such as clothing, jewelries, electronic items, household products, gifts, toys, books, sport products etc. I have ordered shirts and T-shirts from their website. The quality of some clothes was not up to the mark, but it was adjustable with the discount rate they provided.

I can't believe ordering a mattress topper could be so difficult. I ordered two identical toppers and got two different ones. Called and they offered me a 5 dollar gift card. What a load of crap. Had to go to the top. Got a new topper shipped and they sent the wrong one again. Go with amazon please! Avoid

Target stores are always clean and well organized. They pay attention to customers and make sure they are satisfied. It seems to matter to them if customers are happy. They also have something to eat, like a sit dowb restaurant type deal for hunger pangs while you are shopping which is good as I am a diabetic and sometimes my blood sugars get kinda low and I don't feel good if it gets too low. Other just want to eat because they are hungry. It's good to have that in-store. Their stuff usually is nice so you get nice to begin with. That's very important!

Don't call corporate when you have a problem with the local store because they outsource their calls and nine out of 10 of them. Have a hard time understanding you so you're better off just a not shop there anymore and not deal with the issues in those stores
Tip for consumers:
Do not order Target online. It took over 10 days before they're even shipping my product. It's been sitting somewhere so you may as well expect a two to three week delivery process when you can get it anywhere else three times as fast

I have been Make Red Card Payments On Time and Still Get Hit With Late Fees... makes you wonder if Target is owned by Bank of America or Comcast. After being hit with late fees on three occasions for making on time payments online & on time I closed my account. I went online to make a payment on my closed account only to find out that you no longer have that option available once the account is closed.
Don't get me started on how well their phone system works... got hung up on four times when asking for assistance.

I honestly don't get all the negative reviews. I think they're great. I love being able to order online and pick up within hours. The stores are always too packed for my liking with COVID going on. Haven't had any issues with my orders - pick up or delivered. I can get most of my essential household goods at Target.

I wanted to say Thanks to Alexis P. At the target on Greenwich in Wichita. I had left my cash back at the store. She researched it and was so nice and helpful. Customer Service is gone these days, but she was amazing. Above and beyond!

I buy around twice a month at Target. The prices are a bit higher but the sales are often better than in similar stores. Customer service is good. However, the selection of produce is bad, overpriced and the quality is not very satisfying.

I ordered a TracFone prepaid card online this morning. It's to be delivered by email. They say it takes about 4 hours. Well it's been more than 10 hours and I have not received the email. No way on their website to cancel. I ordered another one online from WalMart and received it within 10 minutes. Do not buy prepaid cards online from Target. Frustrating!

I ordered food items. Soups, pasta sauce in glass jars and dry pasta in boxes. Items shipped in one box, not sealed correctly, and cans and glass not separated. Cans arrived all dented and 2 broke open sending soup all over items, broken glass jars. It was all discarded. Called customer service and they resent- 6 days later- and promised to pack it properly and ship it properly. Second box arrives, bottom falling out, tape barely affixed, every can dented, pasta boxes broken open all over box,. Called customer service again. They did credit me and I asked that this time they arrange to do a same day delivery so we can verify AND NOT WAIT another week. First they said yes but them half of the items were not in the store. REALLY? Soups? I said forget it- NEVER again. I tried twice. This is food items and when you order food you do so because you need it sooner than later. I spent way too much time wanting to support target. NOt again!

I ignored all the videos showing racial profiling while customers were shopping inside your stores. But it was really disappointing Black Friday. You guys took a few dollars off the prices showing all you care about is money! The prices is too high!

I bought and returned an item from target use my PayPal account. They were not able to refund the money back to my PayPal saying that their systems don't operate that way instead they gave me a refund in target gift cards. The purchase was pretty big, so I'm still using these target credits I wish I had my cash

I have done business with Target on line only a few times, however this is one of the few retailers that has made the transition from brick and mortar to on line seamlessly. In my experience, Target has delivered what was promised, albeit late every time.
If you're in a hurry for a product, skip Target. Other than late deliveries, Target has been consistant as well as middle-of-the-road on price. I would recommend Target as a trust-worthy retailer. Thanking you in advance, Henry

I won't shop at Target anymore since I saw the racist honeypot commercial. The owner says she hopes the next black girl gets an opportunity to sell a product. She should have left the word black out of the ad, and it would have been perfectly fine. It just shows that it's OK to be racist as long as you aren't white. Since Target thinks this sort of advertising is OK, they won't be getting one penny more of my money.

In this day and age stores should be able to ship quickly, affordably, reliably. But every time I order from Target they only get worse. Not only have they stopped shipping unless you spend over a certain amount, even if you are willing to pay for shipping, but then when you order, it always takes at least a week to arrive, they just toss everything in the box carelessly, and I have not had a single order arrive ever that came quickly and not damaged. They take at least a week to arrive, I still pay for the shipping, and most of the items are crushed or broken. This is not a one-time thing. Their prices aren't even cheap. Their customer service is not responsive. They do not care at all. This happens every single time. I am done with them! How they stay in business when they behave like this I don't know.
Tip for consumers:
They only give credits - no refunds. I think they believe they can send you damaged junk and expect you to spend more money with them because they give you a credit instead of your money back. If you want your money back, it's more involved and a long wait. They are supposed to deliver within 5-7 days, but it is always more like 7-10+ days. And they always charge for shipping. You also can't ship at all if you don't spend over $35 even if you offer to pay for shipping, or don't need more items.
Products used:
I threw out some damaged products, and tried to use others quickly because the food inside could be compromised, but then you can't save them for a later purpose to make what you intended to for a specific recipe and occasion. You can't store them in your pantry for any length of time. This is not an isolated incident. It has happened numerous times, it has happened every single time I order. It is a systemic problem with Target that they surely are aware of since people have complained of damaged goods plenty of times, including myself, and choose to ignore because nothing changes over many months and several years. Finally I decided to write a review because it is ridiculous!

We purchased a scooter for our grandson recently. Online shipping dives no up dates, just what they have predicted. Our item was stated to be here 3 days ago. Nothing arrived, now its past the delivery date and still no updates. We are unable to get any information as to where our item is. Don't buy anything from TARGET and have it shipped to you. Buy it in store if it's the best price or get from AMAZON or WALMART who at least give you up dates shipping info.

…the website is sooo iffy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it won't load. Sometimes you can find what's in your store, sometimes you can't. There have also been times I've tried to add something that was *definitely* in stock to my cart, but when I hit the add button the site freaked out and told me that item was unavailable. I prefer shopping at Target in person, the app or website can be a bit unreliable.

I received notification that the 3 items I ordered had been delivered, but when I opened package there was only 1 item that I had never ordered. I called customer service and spoke with a polite man with a strong Indian accent whom I had difficulty understanding. I then received an e-mail with directions on how to return the items I never received for a refund! I will never shop at Target again.
