Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
I requested a copy of a receipt for a custody trial of kids clothes I bought there from their west Madison, WI store and they kept my DL. They claim they didn't, but I am sure they did as I didn't have it when I left the store. I was not doing anything wrong. It cost $14 to have it replaced, which they never offered to pay the cost or anything. I would never shop there again. They are too overpriced anyway.

Every time I walk in this target, I notice it's so clean. The employees make every effort for their guest to have the best experience. The management team is super nice and thankful for visiting this target. I usually find what I'm looking for because this target immediately put their stock on the shelf. This is a great store.
Tip for consumers:
Be patient and nice

I don't order much from Target online but I have been getting Organic Valley Fuel, which I can't get locally. I buy it by the case but the first two orders consisted of one bottle each! Target quickly remedied that, and the last two orders have been correct. I'm looking forward to ordering more from Target online!

I recently ordered two pair of cowboy boots from the site for my brothers wedding. I received them in a timely manner, was very thrilled with the products and sizes, and am ready to get down at my Brothers Fall Wedding. Yehawwww!

If you are searching for a pink and yellow toaster online, Target will put themselves right at the front of the pink and yellow toaster line. And, although they MIGHT have one, usually they don't and it's, like, "What were you thinking? A pink and yellow toaster?"
Otherwise, shipping is frequently free, and you can find better prices than in the store.

Worst online shopping experience I've ever had!
Not sure where to start, item was damaged during shipping and was returned by Fed Ex. I was told I'd receive another replacement the next day. I did not receive it. Finally called for the third time to fix the problem and my item was out of stock now. My email shows it was delivered to my home but it was not. I asked for a refund and was told I could keep the item that was damaged in shipping but no one could locate it and I was finally told it was sent to be disposed of but to my understanding it belongs to me? So how did they choose to do with my property whatever they please? I will never shop at target again and I will leave this review everywhere I can from this day forward until the contact me to fix it. I spoke with customer service and he was rude and said I could re-purchase the item and I'm not sure why he felt the need to be rude? I'm thinking this could make it into court.

Placed an online order and it was sent to the wrong address. And:
1. Target is not able to update the address on the order...
2. They tell me to call when it ships, so they can update it. Which I did. And they tell me they can't UNTIL the carrier actually has updates. By the time that is available, the carrier already delivered it (that was the original order)
3. While on the phone, Target just replaces the order with an IDENTICAL order, with -again- the wrong address...
4. On that same call, they are UNABLE to update the shipping address. Even though it hasn't shipped yet!
5. I call a day later to have them redirect. They are unable, because -they say- UPS will transfer the order to USPS. (still. They should be able to)
6. I check a day after that. And guess what. "out for delivery". Through UPS. (not a mention of USPS).
Target is so incredibly unprofessional and inept, it's a huge miracle they are even still in business!
Tip for consumers:
Stay far away as you can! Go to the store and maybe buy something there, but DO NOT USE their website.

Previously I used to go to target. It was pleasure experience. But last approximately six months store looks horrible. Store manager most not I can find. Most employees look so unhappy. When inquired their manager recently changed and she is young. She how to manage store. When I go to store during morning around 11:00 am see very less employees and they all are running round to complete job and in evening when less customers in store too many employees move around. Most look like Target hiring young kids. Before more mature employees working in store. Their should be balance between young and mature employees. Some employees working hard and some are not. Before when I was inquiring store manager I can find most time, now a days I can't see store manager in the evening or in weekends.

I love Target! Every time I walk into Target, I'm like a kid at a candy store. I love their $1&$3 section. I always find something. And their clearance section for home decor is amazing! I found a cute pillow for $5, wall shelves for $10, those room essentials floor shelves for $10, organizational boxes for $4, and so much more! Target never disappoints.

I bought my baby stuff and returned unused things that was too small with the receipt but to my greatest surprise the returned price was way lower than the original purchased price. Do not be fooled by the online policy.

I have shopped at target here in Dover Delaware and have always had a wonderful experience and found the employees to be exceptional customer service people. It is one of the places I love to shop at.

When ordering from Target.com they do a pre-auth on your card AND they charge you for the purchase. It takes up to 7 business days to get that pre-auth dropped from your account. It's like they charged you twice. Ridiculous!

I used a card, which I has used 5 minutes earlier on Amazon and used 5 minutes after on Doc Martin, but their website said 'there is a problem with your card, please contact your card provider'. Since then, I have tried to order online a total of 8 times, and each time they do not want my card - although they took it before. I know there is no problem with the card, so obviously they do not want me as a customer!
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy online from Target

I loved Target and Target.com, until the last few times ordering online. They have messed up my orders.
They have also over charged my card 2 x times. One order, I received someone elses order, then my item was out of stock, since I ordered the last one and someone else received it. I never got my items. And it took 14 days to get the credit on my card(it was not my bank it was them) They said sorry and that was it. I do not know what is going on with them? Sad, but I will not be ordering online anymore. Also, the Target in town is so slow and rude when picking up orders. Sad to go, but Target I'm done.

Terrible! Been trying to call for the last two days and nobody answers for a simple question. I live in El Paso Texas trying to call the one on Gateway and now I'm just going to call the other store. Hopefully I don't get the same type of no answer.

No more Target for me. Today I checked online for a portable chair and found the Riverside store had 3. Drove there, long drive for me, and they only had 1. I wanted to buy 2. A month ago I checked online and they had the pickleball paddle that I wanted. Drove there, they were out of stock. Further the lady that helped me said their online inventory is not accurate.

Shopping there since 80s when stationed in North Dakota and Target was a regional, not national store. Always impressed with their service, quality and prices. Sad when we moved away but very happy when they went national and built stores in our area. A Target customer for life!

I ordered something online for pickup and I ended p having to go back and grab the item myself because it wasn't ready after 24 hours. I love the store but this was really annoying. It seems to happen at every company that I try "in store pickup".

I live in the USA and watching show on Peacock and a commercial comes on in a foreign language. I couldn't understand a word but did recognize the target logo. So I guess you really don't care about all the English speaking people who see your commercial. I hope you can make enough profit off that small segment of the USA to make that commercial profitable. I'll just continue to shop elsewhere.
Tip for consumers:
That when in the USA the language is English.

None. I could not understand what they were selling since it was in a totally foreign language.

Target has a lot of products you can order online. They have furniture and bigger things that are not it the store, that you get online. They let you use their 5% card to deduct money if you have one. One of my favorite stores

Target got much worse than it used to be. We recently bought a baby chair, checked it at home and found out that it was not good for our baby. They did not want to get it back, though we had a receipt and not used it it at all. They said that they cannot get children products back. Shame on you guys. I wish I would go to another store if I knew.

Bought the polar watch and it stopped working two months in well the band did called to get a new one target said I had to call polar and they take care of it. Took me 3 months to get a new one. What a waste of 7$ btw the band isn't working again! Will never buy electronics again from here. Thought I was getting a good deal instead got a hassle.

Unfortunately I received a Target gift card for Christmas. I hate to even have to purchase anything from them at this point. I work from home and the nearest Target isn't convenient for me to get to so I tried to place my order online. It would look as though my order went through but later it would say order canceled by Target, with no other information. Target support is extremely unhelpful. They keep telling me they can't help me and to go to the Target store to make my purchase in purchase. Because of this I will never shop here again. You really need to step up your game target. Your customer service is seriously lacking!

THRSHD Nolan recliners are a terrible buy at target. Bought two of them in February 2014, by dec 2014 one of them was useless. Coating all worn out, parts broke under the chair so you sat tilted to one side. No head rest. Save your money and pick up a used apple crate. You will be more comfortable.

Went for dry cat food today at Target and found the price on a 30lb bag had gone up $6 from $19 to $25 since last week. Bummer, but no problem - they offered a buy two and get a $5 gift card back. I purchased two bags and asked for masks, got iunstructions from polite staff on where to find them, but left with out them. Got lost in store- my fault. At checkout, could not get the deal advertised with the gift card, so ended up leaving unhappy. Staff made an attempt to help, but they were busy. Check around before shopping, don't make the mistakes I did. Next time I will shop local QFC or Amazon for similar less priced items. Sorry target - I tried Sat. March 6th 2021
