Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
The Greenbrier Target has been out of or refuses to offer take home bags of popcorn For months. Other Targets have them but not Greenbrier.
Now they are out of the large bags and instead give you a small bag and another small bag that's not even half full and still charge you for a large one.
They are really cheating customers

They are loud and disrespectful neighbors in Glenville, NY.
They make so much noise with compactors that start at 4a, trucks coming before 5a, maintenence of their parking lots all night.
The worst part is they won't fix the problem.
I'll never give them a penny of my money.
Walmart is way more respectful in our community.

Had baby registry there and got doubles on registry and the wouldn't refund the money. All they would do is give us a gift card even though they could see when it was taken off an who got it and they said receipt or no receipt all they can do is in store credit. We live far away and it is hard to get there to shop and we needed the money back for other baby stuff we wanted to get else where but no they won't give ur money back. U got to spend it there and it was their mistake. It says they do what they got to to make there customers happy but that ain't true. Once u spend money there it's a lost cause. Don't expect it money back if ur not happy with the idem!

Charged me for a warranty for an electronic item they cancelled and then wouldn't reimburse me. Had to call and be put on hold several times and was hung up on 3 times. When I finally got a supervisor I was told that I could get my refund in another 3 to 5 business days (for an item I never received). To hold your money hostage is bad business practice. When I repeatedly suggested they don't ship any warranties for items that don't ship, they didn't seem to understand.

Went to pay for some items.
Incompetent cashier mistakenly scanned an item twice and didn't know how to take it off.
Had not been trained; I was his first customer!
A few days later I went to buy two items. Had to deal with the same cashier, no one else available. One item scanned at 17% more than the price displayed. He couldn't correct this, so I had to pay the wrong price then go to Customer Service to get a price adjustment.
I'm the untrained, incompetent cashier -- because only self-checkout was available; not one register with a Target employee working at the register.
I'm not a cashier, haven't been trained and shouldn't be working for free.
Target should have employees at the register, so self-checkout is a choice, not an obligation.
(Just as I was leaving the store, one cashier did come on duty.)
Tip for consumers:
If anyone at Target bothers to read this, I hope you know that shoplifting from customers failing to scan items at self-checkout is a big problem; probably more than it costs to hire cashiers.

Very deceiving, Site clearly says Spend $50 and receive Free Shipping. Ordered 3 items totaling $117 and had a shipping charge of $9 for a 412 item they said was note eligible for free shipping.
Main page didn't indicate there were items ineligible it said Spend $50.

My kid saved her money for months so that she could buy an iPhone. When it arrived it was missing the earbuds and charger. After 2 hours on the phone, they agreed to send her earbuds and charger, instead they sent her another phone but no earbuds and charger. Then the battery would not charge. Multiple phone calls, hours of time, no working phone.

Not happy with their customer service, always have to wait on the line when my shipment does not arrive. They have to do smth about it. You need to provide a better service in order for people to keep shopping with you

I placed an online order and the site would not let me change the shipping address, so it is going to TX and not KY.No one is around to talk to at target.com. Postal service couldn't help me. Bad experience all around.

Who makes every shopping experience easier and its( free) on uncomfortables situations dont have to deal with managers who cant handle situations! By the way i talked to the manager and was helpless! Even evelyn sorry cant remember her name! I ended up paying but for sure will choose amazon prime over target now!

I get withdraws if I don't go to Target at least once a week ;) I really like Target, they are a great store to shop at and I love the red card program. We also shop online and have not had any issues.

Washed the sheet and put them on the bed and that evening when getting into bed the sheeets were so soft I could not believe it. These are the softest sheet I have ever had. I liked them so much I bought another set. YOu should get a set because I know you will like it as I do.

Target's website is pretty easy to use. They have pictures, descriptions and options to deliver to your home or pick up at a store. You can use Target circle or your 5% Target card and sometimes have great Internet deals. The only thing it lacks is to order groceries to be brought to your car. You have to have the Target app for that otherwise you have to go inside the store to pick up your orders. I'd like to see Target adopt a similar system to Khols with buting items and bringing them to your car. Other than that I really like using their website.
Tip for consumers:
Just remember if you want a little bit better deals, and want things brought to your car for pick up be sure to use the app not the website

After buying a Serta air bed at Target I set it up and found I was allergic to whatever it was made of. It had a very strong plastic/polymer/chemical odor and made me sick at my stomach. When I tried to return it I was told I couldn't get a refund or Target gift card in exchange, that the store policy on air beds is that after their boxes are opened the customer has to buy another air bed of equal or greater value. The only other suitable air beds were more expensive. I went around and around the issue with a Customer Service representative and manager - both very courteous - and, after standing my ground, was finally allowed to exchange the toxic air bed for a less expensive one with a gift card to cover the differences in price. Overall, my experiences at Target have been very positive, but customers should be aware of the outrageous return policy for at least this one item.
Tip for consumers:
Be aware, be assertive, stand your ground.

Checking out at target they ask for phone number. After typing it in and hitting send they tell you the equivalent to " now that we have your telephone number we are going to use it to solicit all kinds of things to you". How unfair iw that?!. I get over 60 emails and 20 phone calls because of inappropriate activity as this.
I havent been to Target in a long time guess i just moved here and didn't know where one is. Wish i still didnt know. Friends and family will know about this solicitness, unwanted activity!

Order a pickup order. They got most of the order wrong. Through weeks of emails, I finally got a refund for 3 items. Although a dozen were wrong. Incompetent order pickers and customer service. I am done with Target. I'm canceling my red card.

I'm so incredibly frustrated with Target. I made a baby registry there, and right then I should've known that was a bad idea. First of all- they had no scanners working, and I had to download an app on my phone to add items (which for whatever reason took forever to scan, each time), and didn't get my goody bag (they should've just given it to me right there). I received some things from my registry there, and actually things that aren't on my registry- and given a gift receipt for those. Returning items for both the registry AND the gift receipt will apparently only get me store credit- which I don't want since I'm frustrated with them already. The item from the registry- they couldn't even take back until I sign in to my registry (atm I can't remember my password), but still- will only get store credit. The icing on the cake though was the complacent attitude of the employee who couldn't have cared less about it. I'm so unhappy with Target right now.

Target usedto be my favorite store. Lately, they credit your payments after 3 weeks. When you are really late I payment for a few hundred, they issue you a subpoena letter for your past due. So disappointing. They destroy your credit.

It's no surprise that Target.com is identical to the brick and mortart version. I do like that I can find items online that I can't find in the stores. My quibble is that the site doesn't seem to mirror the sales or discounts that are available in-store. I only use the site when I can find what I need in-store. Target is really more of a sensory experience for me and using the site kind of takes away from what makes Target great.

Target ( I like to pronounce it as, Tarjay) is located quite close to our home so we go there often. The store is clean with spacious isles and always has a variety of lovely clothes, jewelery and accessories on display. Fitting rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable with great mirrrors. Staff are helpful. A great place to shop.

I can find a lot of things at Target, especially in the purse section that I love. I've bought 3 purses of the designer in different colors because they have everything I need in them. Along with that, they aren't tiny little clutch purses and they aren't the size of a duffle or gym bag, just mid-size but 3 sections and zippered pockets inside, which is exactly what I need.

After the recent decision on the bathroom issue, I can only say that as a business owner and seeing the reactions to your decision, I wonder if you explored the benefits of having a 3rd bathroom? As a business owner, I know respect for a company is imperative. I also know as a business owner it would be something the company could afford. As a consumer, mother, grandmother, I would not feel comfortable with the way it is presently set up. I truly hope you choose to read this review! I do love your stores otherwise, but this issued could be a deal breaker for many! But a 3rd bathroom would solve ALL issues with all the public. Thank you for your time!

Target offers the worse online shopping experience around. I wouldn't even shop here if it wasn't for the 5% off with the Target card. Their website is slow and terrible to navigate, their shipping speeds are atrocious (granted it is free shipping with RedCard), but I try to avoid them if I can find something for a comparable price elsewhere.
I specifically recall having to call their customer service over a missing order and it was a nightmare scenario. It took multiple phone calls and my issue wasn't completely resolved.
Buyer Beware!
