Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
What is wrong with these guys? Letting grown men dresses as women (freaks) in the bathroom with little girls? And they are proud of it? Wow NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP AT TARGET NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!

I have used Shipt 4 times over the last 6 weeks. On my 2nd delivery my shopper texted she noticed a couple small items missing that Target must have forgotten to bag. It was not a big deal to me, I did not think anything of it.
Today, I had my 4th delivery. My shopper texted me a similar message, however this time Target had forgot to bag xyz…$42 worth of items. My shopper went on to say
"I swear I saw the cashier at target put everything in one bag and they aren't in my car. I understand if you have to penalize my shop, I just wanted to personally apologize for the inconvenience."
I was appalled and very concerned, however I imagined Shipt would handle the issue and want to stop this from happening right away.
While trying to get a hold of them for over an hour, I called Target who verified the items had been returned for cash/gift card with my gift receipt.
The supervisor at Shipt said it was a billing issue and I had to EMAIL customer service, end of story/period! I told the supervisor this is a fraud issue, not a billing one, he did not care. I will pursue this matter but not through Shipt, I feel that would be a waste of my time. I'm extremely upset on so many levels.

Pluses: Value is good. Stores are attractive. Pharmacists (at one store, in my experience) are quite helpful--though their assistants, not so much.
Minuses:
1. The product search engine on the Web site is essentially useless, so off the mark that using it is a complete waste of time.
2. Customer service by phone in my experience is almost as useless, for any except the simplest of questions.
3. To look in the store for a type of merchandise not a major category (mens' clothes, furniture) can best be described as a fool's errand. This has happened to me 4 out of 4 times [never again!], of which a description of my most recent experience may be instructive. I entered the Eagle Rock, California store at the upper level, seeking alarm clocks. The greeter had no doubt exactly where they were, on the first level. Except that they weren't. After searching in vain I proceeded to Customer Service, where a representative (also confidently) directed me to a section on the second level. With some difficulty I found clocks: wall clocks. I went back to the same customer service rep, who called another employee on the phone. When the other employee arrived, she wanted to give me more instructions, but agreed to escort me. She took me to a place on the second level, nowhere near where I'd been directed previously. Nobody apologized. The last person explained that the merchandise used to be somewhere else.

Seriously this place is like a better walmart, the lighting is so much better and it doesn't feel like a depressing wasteland of poor people and thugs everytime I walk in.

I had to make an online purchase return - my experience with the target customer service was good, very helpful, fast and very accommodating to my situation!
Exceptional Customer Service!
Thank you!
Products used:
Shoes, sports bras, down feather pillows, everything but one item and they refunded me for that item.

I've stopped making purchases from Target because of their anti family bathroom policy and their persistence in alienating a large sector of their base by making political and social views public.

So very disappointed. I went to Target's website to do 2 things: purchase a gift card for my son's birthday and to purchase a pair of shoes.
The shoes arrived a couple of days ago. The gift card was cancelled - TWICE - and both cards had more than enough funds to make the purchase.
When I received the first cancellation, I thought maybe they wanted me to purchase 2 cards with different denominations so the second time I purchased 2 gift cards with different denominations on a different credit card. The second transaction was cancelled as well.
I called Target's customer service number and was told they would submit a "ticket" regarding the "error". When I received a response from the "ticket" submission, it was a template email saying something to the affect of "Sorry. Not our problem."
I then called Guest Services and was hoping I could get a better explantation as to what happened. They reiterated what the template email stated.
So... I can get a pair of shoes from Target but I can't buy a gift card?
Well, this is the last time I will be a Target customer and, apparently, Target doesn't care. That's okay. In today's competitive retail environment I will choose to spend my dollars elsewhere.

I don't know what's wrong with this Company but it seems it likes playing online "games". EVERY TIME I have entered my password AFTER resetting a new one to access my billing information at www.targetrcam.com the website DENIES me access with the claim of it being an INvalid password! It then plays with me by asking me to confirm the answers to DIFFERENT security questions than those I responded to when I set up the password! Therefore there is NO way for me to get in to check my billing account info and WITHOUT the username and password I can't contact them through the website log-in either to straighten out the problem. I have even CALLED their customer service center several times to get the problem stopped and got the "promise" EACH time that it "wouldn't happen again"! And EACH time it STILL DOES!
THIS is WHY customers PREFER PAPER billing records sent by mail!

Dont USE SHIPT! Owned by target to screw you! Must return in seven days or they WONT REFUND YOU! Big screw from TARGET THE OWNER OF SHIPT! Then they play LYING customer Service PEOPLE game! Target alson plays games with what they will let you buy online. Do Amazon at least you get treated decently!
Tip for consumers:
Run away! use Amazon!

I bought the Zulu Atlas Beverage Bottle in Blue. It is a great bottle for drinking. It is a heavy glass with a rubber grip around the bottle. The lid fits well and does not leak if tipped over.

Bad experience at Beavercreek Ohio Target store. Daughter received wedding gift and tried to return it. It was unopened but we did not have a receipt. Store would not accept it as a return. Store manager tried to argue must have a receipt but policy on wall stated different. Store manager would not give store credit or exchange for another item. We've shopped there for years with no problems. Seems very unprofessional that store manager takes upon herself to interpret policy as she sees fit. You would think that a manager would try to find a way to compromise on resolving the issue to both customer and store satisfaction. Bottom line do not buy or receive a gift from Target without the receipt or you may be out of luck if your gift must be returned. Not a good situation or management approach. Didn't appreciate the comments made as I walked out either. Store might need some management training. Now I know why Amazon is sweeping up the market because the brick and mortar stores are still operating in the 1990s.

I have shopped at Target for years but I just conducted my first online purchase/store pick up. It was easy and quick. A Target employee loaded my trunk and I was on my way. Not bad!

I like target's ease of shopping and store layout. I think they are a little over priced or I would go there more often. But there store is always clean and has a good retail layout.

Target is a bit over-priced with most of their items. I recall running low on some contact lens solution and came to target since it was closer to me. I was APPALLED at the price of the stuff but I needed it since I was on the road. This same brand of contact lens solution is actually $2 cheaper in Wal-mart. COMPARE, COMPARE, COMPARE!

Won't give Target any of our business for two reasons.!. Because of their policy at Christmas...
2. Because of their bathroom polices. They are just to liberal!
