Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
I love that you can pick up your items in-store... totally saves on shipping! Plus, they generally have high-quality items for fairly decent prices.

I don't whine or complain, but when a company makes it very obvious that it's beliefs are in direct opposition to mine, I just avoid them. Done.

Found *much* cheaper comparable items on Amazon and Walmart.com. Not sure what's going on with Target because they used to be my favorite.

I like shopping online at Target because there are more products available then in store. Shipping time frames are not too bad either.

Don't look for anyone here for help, you will not find them. Cons less selections compared to Walmart but a cleaner atmosphere.

The people at my Target are friendly and considerate. The manager always asks if I need help in any way. Quality items.

They should have been neutral and kept their social and political views to themselves. I won't be doing any business with Target.

This store has managed to turn a frequent customer ($100-$300 month) into someone who almost never shops there anymore. Here's how:
1. Quality of products has declined year on year.
2. Website: more than half of my promised orders were cancelled after I paid and items were confirmed in stock; suddenly, days later, they were out of stock, and my order cancelled, so that I had to scramble to find replacement items (especially for gifts).
3. Inability to return items: Received defective item; spent 30 minutes trying to talk to someone in the Philippines about how to return it. Rep's initial response, "You can't." Another friend was shipped WRONG item - a swimming pool. Told that the ONLY way she could return it was to bring it back to a store. Pool did not fit in her small car! I also had trouble retuning something I bought online, 1 week after it was shipped- I had bought multiples, but Target's system only let me return one item; system would then claim item had already been returned, even though I had receipt to prove multiple items purchased.
4. Coupons (both their annoying in-store text variety and paper coupons) almost never work. Always end up shrugging off the rip-off.
5. Credit card: the only one that always seems to claim that the payment is "late." And then, after much fuss, will begrudgingly refund a small portion of the late fee. Then I didn't use the card for a little while. The checkout woman basically cajoled me into using it, only to have it be declined (in front of a line of other shoppers -embarrassing!) "Oh, if you don't use it for like 6 months, they cancel it," she says. Nice of Target to let me know beforehand. I received no notice that my card was cancelled. Good thing I didn't really need to use it!
6. Deaf ear. One would think that a "valued customer" who cancels his/her email relationship in disgust, and has made several complaints online and in store might be contacted for follow-up. Nope. Target doesn't care and doesn't need my business. I have found other sources for the products I need.

I am only displeased that many items are no longer available online and then only certain stores carry them. It is frustrating.

Be prepared to do the job yourself, as with Dollar General and Walmart. I must insist on compensation and benefits.
