Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
The target by us is incredibly stressful to shop. Over crowded most of the time... I try to avoid when possible. Online shopping is easy, and I can generally find what I need without having to deal. I do miss my after work target trips though, haha

My daughter was gifted a target gift card for her birthday, I had noticed the card information had already been scratched off. So this is where the problem lies; it could've been easily prevented if the cashier had simply checked the back as this is a long time ongoing scam. Then I'm told I can't get a replacement via gift card as it's not their policy. Wouldn't it make sense for policy to be for cashiers to make sure gift card information hasn't been compromised? Then I call the number provided by target, spoke to one person and was told they have to mail a replacement. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The second person I talked to was extremely rude (Trish or Trisha), and mind you this is outsourced call center. As we speak, I'm now on the fifth person I've spoken to because im getting out on hold and the call disconnects. DO BETTER TARGET! I will never shop there again, what a nightmare!

I tell the man I would like to have a waterproof speaker. He points to a set of speakers and says, "These are waterproof. These are great speakers." He then playz music on them and tells me they have great sound quality. So I spend 200 dollars on the speakers only to go home and find out they are not waterproof. So I go back to the store and ask for a return. The lady says, "I cannot do a return.
Are electronics department has a different return policy." So I am stuck with the wrong sort of speakers.
Then I come to buy a phone. They scam me into getting an awful phone plan with almost no data. I end up getting a 500 dollar phone bill.
Jeez Target. This is not customer service. These are awful experiences that make me wanna stay away from Target.

Target was never as expensive for many years as it is n=bow, While I don't like it, they have to charge more to keep up with Wallmart. The perk is the quality of the items are wayyyyy better, And if you consider you're not always returning an item or having it break on you, it actually costs less in time and money,

I loved target when it was in Canada and now i live in america and i just can't stop going there. I bought a lot of things when i moved into my new apartment. As an interior designer i love the decor they have, especially the kitchen decor. I would love if they lowered their prices for some of the things but i still like going there time to time. 9/10 would recommend.

Tried to check out I'm electric section because I had finished up there. Mind you I had items from electrics and from clothing. The gentleman refused to ring up my clothes said I had to ring that up front but that he could do the electrics there... why would I have to wait in 2 lines? Never have I had this issue at any other target store this is ridiculous

Your clothing is disgusting. Our children are being subjected to sexually oriented clothing just so you can make a dollar. What is wrong with you? Let children be CHILDREN! Stop selling sexually oriented children's clothing! PS I had to leave one star to write this review.

In 2013 I applied for and was given a Target credit card with no difficulty. I did not have a need to rise to use it, as I was saving it for school clothes for my kids. What I did not know that is if you do not use your Target card in one year, your card is turned off and you are reported to the collection agency as a bad risk. I have attempted to re-apply to get my card reinstated, but because of non-use of the card, my credit score is too low to obtain another Target card. I personally, do not think this is fair and I wish I had more knowledge of this when I applied for the Target card.

I ordered a double stroller and paid for 2 day shipping. The day I'm supposed to get it, I get an email from ups saying shipping has changed and I won't be getting it for another two days. I call target and the guy tells me, sorry but u only paid for 3-4 day shipping. I said no, I didn't and proceeded to argue w him. He puts me on hold for ten minutes, comes back n says "yes, it looks like you have paid for the two day shipping. Instead of cancelling order, how about I wave shipping and have it to you by tomorrow." I agreed and never received stroller on the date he assured me I'd be getting it. I'm getting it the same day that it was rescheduled for. They are liars and could care less about customer satisfaction as far as I'm concerned. I'll never order online again.

I ordered a Mr. Coffee Tea Maker at a great price and there was a promotion of no fee for shipping GREAT free shipping. That saved me 18 dollars compared to the Mr. Coffee site. I was very happy with Target.

I ordered a product on Target.com. The 3rd party vendor was VM Innovations. A day later was was informed that my order was canceled and I would receive a refund. Lets see if that happens! I looked at reviews for this company and they are a scam. I contacted Target customer service and was told they can't help me because it was through the marketing team. Wait time to talk to the "marketing team" is over an hour. What happened to the old Target? I will NEVER shop on line with them again.

Considering that Bruce Jenner and all "transgenders"/mutilatorsaa still has male chromosomes, I am shocked by the anti scientific stance target has taken by allowing men into women's bathrooms, and vice versa. I'm from the twin cities and like to support local companies, but not when they take such ridiculous and anti scientific stances. Haven't bought a thing from target since then.

I purchased a book online and went to pick it up. When purchased, there were 2 available in my store supposedly, but when I arrived the next day to get it, I was told, no, it is not here yet! So I cancelled my purchase at Target went to Books a Million and bought the book.

I ordered a hose reel on April 21 st and still haven't received it by June 1 st. It says it's out for delivery so when I called about it they said it was lost and would refund my money. I then got an email that I got a target gift card so I called them back and wanted my money back. The store doesn't even have the item in stock. They said since it was purchased through PayPal then it would have to be reviewed for 5-7 business days and could take another 30 days to receive my refund. It's funny that they take my money in seconds and refund using a gift card in seconds but take over 30 days to refund my money back.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t order on line

This Lady cashier named Varsha has no respect. Upon check-in the booth she spoke very rudely to me and her eyes we're so mean like she will gonna eat me. She never spoke to me before and after finished the transaction. I dont like her impolite manners with other cashiers. I've waited in line for 30 minutes and never get a comp[liment even THANK YOU at the end. This Girl must learn her lesson or terminate her.

I shop at the Target Tri-County in Cincinnati, Ohio. I love that the staff takes the appropriate measures to sanitize the store- I actually see them do this every time I go- and monitor checkout. Plus the cashiers are nice and there's no crowd. I avoid major grocery stores and shop here, and am just as satisfied with their merchandise. I had to personally thank the cashiers today at checkout!

I will never order from target.com again! I ordered an item for my daughter on 12/13/16 that was estimated for delivery on 12/17/16. On 12/19/16, I contacted target and was told that the item had been placed on back order after I placed the order. I was told it would be received no later than 1/17/17. I then received notification on 1/11/17 that the back order had been extended now until 2/23/17. I called target customer service and was told that the item has been discontinued! Why then, do they keep extending the back order deadline and continue to string me along. I was told that a lot of times their website isn't up to date with what is actually available. I understand the initial oversight with the order placement, but why when they realize that I will never receive the item do they just keep on and keep on giving false hope! This is ridiculous! Never again!

I absolutely love Target! I frequently shop here and love their policies and products. The only issue I had was for my wedding registry (I told you... I love Target!). They kept sending products to the wrong address and the customer service was a pain to deal with on the phone. However, when going into the store and dealing with them they were absolutely amazing and resolved the problem right away!

Ordered an Oster fondue pot online for instore pickup at East Liberty - no other stores had it in stock. A nice product. I drove 25 minutes each way; free parking; nice young man handed it over bagged and ready to go; for a gift event at my home. Got it home, cut the tape, opened it up: burnt pot, pieces all over, dried cheese fondue flaked out onto my table. It had been returned used, not even cleaned; Target packed it up, bagged it, and handed it off to me. What the?

I do a lot of shopping online and love to beat the crowds. Target has some great deals and I buy online and then just go to my local store and pick it up the same day. The only thing is they have to have the item in stock at that store. But for me that saves so much time walking all over to see if they have it to find out they are out. This is just so convenient for me. Love this for those busy days.

I ordered three items offline and one of the item came in a pack of 12 and I only received a pack of 10. Also ordered Vaseline and when I received my package, the Vaseline had melted and went spread all over the other items. Whe taken back in the store they said there was nothing they could do. I would not go online and order anything. They are not dependable.
Tip for consumers:
Don't.

I order from Target all the time- that is the only way I can support them since I do not have a local one. Shipping is always free, and most prices are lower than Walmarts. They carry many more cruelty free products that I love to buy and I like supporting their choice of enriching the changing lifestyle of many young americans to become transexuals and be comfortable using whichever bathroom they deem fit.

Unless you get something that's back ordered, shipping is relatively fast. I have had problems with things taking a while that were back ordered. Saying it was in stock when I ordered it and then it wasn't, because of this I took off a star. Otherwise it's a trusted brand with good quality products and quick shipping.

My gift card balance strangely changes from $37.83 to $13.12 but when I called to inquire about the list the transactions they refused to tell me. Gift card manager named Angel told me I can only inquire about a specific transaction that I know. That's funny. I don't get the list of transactions, how can I inquire anything.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy target gift card.

It doesn't matter what the culture is. However, in order to successfully run your business it's imperative to have employees speak English. What is the point of being in business if customers cannot even get a simple location of a product because employees don't speak a spit of english. I almost left the store and done business someplace else if I was unable to locate the product. The consumer cannot be responsible of learning a variety of languages just to go to the corner store. Please do something about this.
