Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
This is at the Marshfield plaza on 118th Marshfield inside of Target. I ordered a tea from Starbucks inside of Target. Wondering what was taking so long, so I waked to the end and the young lady was adding agave syrup after I requested honey. She was angry I caught her then said its all the same. Then, the water where the tea comes from comes out black/brown, they put directly on brown tea bags and you assume its all tea. Its tainted pipe dirty water your drinking. They are aware of issue and it is not resolved #Beware

I am an extreme couponer and Target was my jam! I loved getting the products, the gift cards, and the catalinas, but sadly due to their recent stance on the bathroom issue I have had my last shopping experience there. I can't fathom allowing my 12 year old go into the bathroom alone anymore in a store that allows a person to use a bathroom based on what they feel they are. So, if I wake up and feel like I am a horse, does that mean I stop speaking and start nahing, I start walking on all 4s, and get a prosthetic tail? Absolutely not because I would been sent the nearest professional for a psych evaluation. My job is to keep my child safe and if I knowingly can't keep them safe in a store why should I go there? Targets job is sell products not get into social/political issues.
Bye Target, it's been real and this parting is bitter sweet, but I have to go.

Last week I ordered several small jars of various spices, a box of baking soda, a pair of metal kitchen tongs, 3 packs of applesauce cups, and a box of baggies.
All of the items were tossed in a box, with no protection. During shipping, one of the packs of applesauce tore open, and the metal tongs punctured the foil seal on one of the cups. This resulted in applesauce leaking in the box.
The box of baking soda was not sealed well, so baking soda was also leaking in the box. When the mailman handed the shipping box to my husband, baking soda was actually leaking out of that box.
Everything in the order was covered with a mixture of applesauce and baking soda. It cleaned up ok, but would have ruin books or clothing. There was obviously no thought given to packing the order carefully, so all the items were loose and tumbled around during the shipping process.
I won't order stuff to be shipped again, if this is an example of their method of packing and shipping.

Target is the best store by far. There have been times I go to walmart and they dont have my brands because the location is "low income" areas so they dont carry certain brands.
Target usually is a bit more, but for a reason, they carry WAY MORE brands, Walmart carrys cheap processed garbage 99% of the time.

I shop only occasionally at Target, but I do find some sizes available there not common and occasional deals like when I bought a computer mouse there. Target though at Cascade Station in Portland, OR, has the worst arrangement I have seen for use of electric shopping carts. Both Costco and Winco locations I use do much better.

I received a confirmation number and email stating that I order was completed. I later found out that my money was on hold. Once money was on hold and deducted from my account. I was later told that the items is no longer and stock and they are sorry for the inconvenience. It wasn't an inconvenience to take the money out of my account. I also reached out to the store who said first come first serve. How is a item available and order confirmed to be later found out you didn't get it. I wouldn't wish this experience on anybody. It really ruin my day. On top of that taking hard working Americans money and then lying to them. When you are a powerful company you can get away with this kind of business. I would suggest to order from another company when getting the PS5. I personally will never shop at Target again.
Tip for consumers:
Be very carful and be aware that you may get charged and not have your item. Its not right but big companies can do whatever they want. The app and online is not trustworthy. I wouldn't wish this experience on anybody.

Ordered two like items (hoodies) in different colors. Received one and not the other. Was told the item was backordered, then delayed, then another excuse. Finally after two months I canceled the order. If I had been given other options I could have ordered another item, size or color. Even to the store and got the runaround.

The brick and mortar Target store is less than a mile from my house. I have to order the item I was emailed exclusive to Target ONLINE because the store doesn't stock it. Fine. But why do I have to go in and out on their extremely difficult website to place an order? The edit cart and check out box REFUSED to high light so you can click onto it. I don't know how many times I removed the item and started from scratch before those brats would FINALLY complete my order! I don't need this crap! I have no problems at Walmart.com (where I can order and complete in a flash) for example. I tried two browsers (Chrome and Edge), and quite frankly if this item wasn't exclusive only to Target, I wouldn't have bothered. If you have patience, then maybe you would have better luck ordering from target.com. Me, I'm done stick a fork in me GONE! This site needs MAJOR ordering experience IMPROVEMENT STAT! Or they will turn customers away!

I've been looking for new and trendy apparels for my casual wear home fashion. I never look out for the Target after reading the customer reviews. But believe me after I shopped from target and bought my PJs and t shirts, honestly those reviews now seem to be fake. I was bombed with a huge collection of apparels to choose from. All the fresh arrivals have a mix of decent, trending, coolio choices. I must say Target is doing a great job along with offering discount codes to online coupon sites. I also found $20 Target coupon from couponmonger.com/target-20-off-100. They have valid and working codes.
I am absolutely satisfied with the Target collection of apparels along with working discount codes.

Lately, I question management policies re: hiring, price of merchandise, extension/refusal of credit. I'm not sure what's going on here, and have sold my long-held Target shares.

I've never had any bad experiences with ordering from target.com. The only complaint I have is that shipping isn't as fast as walmart.com and other sites.

This store if fine if you are a rich person who is too embarrassed to shop at WalMart. They carry equal quality but charge more than other discount stores.

Close by so we use them for a lot of different products. The Super stores can get a little crowed on weekends but they have always been quick and polite about their customer service!

I love target! Quality and service are hard to beat... sometimes their prices are a little higher than that competitor, but the time saved is priceless!

I prefer shopping at Target more so than the other big store that starts with "W" ....Target has great atmosphere re: lighting and layout overall- larger isles...

I really like Target because of its product distribution, red color everywhere and modest prices. They also conveniently located and always there's available parking spots

They have so many products on sale!
Love the holiday toy online purchasing!
Prices good and discounts in most areas.
Many stores close by also.
Something for each household member!

They do it for me much less even than Walmart. Their stores look clean enough, no problem there but I just don't like the "feel" if you know what I mean.

Never order ANYTHING from target.com
Problems with delivery of items
Cannot send an inquiry and get a response
Customer service on the phone is nonexistent
A miserable experience
The only reason I ordered through Target and not Amazon or WalMart was their guaranteed delivery date which was exceeded by 3 days.
Date of experience: August 25, 2015
Pretty much if it's on sale, you cannot get it shipped... in store only. This is not why I shop online. The clothes have also gotten expensive and are not worth it.

I will never shop at Target again. I have been a loyal patron for many years. Some of your staff at the 233 Carmichael Way Chesapeake, VA ******* location are COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT, RUDE and did nothing to help me. I had left something on hold and drove over an hour to pick it up and they gave it to someone else. You lost my business forever.

White there is nothing wrong with Target, per se, it is however just another brick in the wall of American retail mediocrity in this day and age,
Yes, you can find just about any type of household or clothing goods at one of these stores, but the items will have been made in China and of questionable quality.
The retail experience in the US now is so homogenized, that you could be anywhere from Tucson... to Atlanta... to Akron... to Little Rock... and each marketplace would be the same: vast wastelands of Targets, Walmarts, BB&Bs, Lowes, Home Depots, etc.
Anyway back to Target -- I guess it is convenient, predicttable, offers lots of parking -- but just not that inspirational.
It's kind of funny... some of us call it "Tarjay."
Three stars -- meh.

Awesome brand; like there advertisements; there pricing is about 10-12% higher then Walmart but i prefer to pay that for the convenience of a clean and organized store and friendly staff.
