Target is my go-to retailer for its combination of affordability, convenience, and variety. Whether I'm shopping for groceries, household essentials, or clothing, Target consistently delivers quality products at reasonable prices. I appreciate the ease of shopping both in-store and online, as well as the frequent deals and promotions available to Target Circle members
I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
I ordered a rug from Target, but had to return it because the colors didn't match. I lugged it into the store and tried return it but forgot to bring my phone, so no receipt. They couldn't seem to find it, so I took it back home and lugged it in there again a few days later. This time I had the phone, but it said no receipt when I tried to find the receipt. It showed that my card been charged, but they couldn't find it anywhere. Not even when they looked it up on my credit card. The woman told me that the reason it wasn't showing was that the order hsd never been updated, and this was two weeks after I ordered it. She said they would have to give me a Target gift card, which I didn't want because I had charged it to my credit card. I asked if I could bring it back a week later and would they have the site updated by then? She said that should work. So I lugged it back home and I still have to try and return it again. Meanwhile, I looked it up on my credit card statement and it was charged the day that I ordered it. This is ridiculous, I won't be ordering again.

I placed an online order with Target on Saturday, November 7,2015, to take advantage of the 25% off BESTFIT code for toys for my kids for Christmas. I placed the items in my cart and upon checkout attempted to use my additional 5% pharmacy rewards discount. This code never works. Never. Every time I try to enter this code I need to call for them to manually adjust my order. Every time I call I get someone who cannot understand or speak the language. I was on the phone for over an hour and she could not understand what I was trying to do. Over an hour. By this time I had lost the 25% code on some of the toys as I was on the phone past midnight. She finally put me on hold and never came back! I left that phone on hold and called back with my husband's phone and got someone else. She was at least semi-helpful and got the order pushed through. In the meantime, however, some of the item counts in my order had changed and she had to adjust the 25% and it still never ended up working on the nerf gun I ordered. Which it had originally. All in all I was on the phone for TWO AND A HALF HOURS getting this order placed. This is absolutely ridiculous. Target has some serious problems. I left the original call I had placed on hold for another hour and that representative never came back to help me. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received.

Go to a different site!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I bought a night stand from there. While building it I noticed 2 cracked load bearing boards, which I glued and clamped and all the holes needed drilled out because they were not deep enough and would have cracked the boards installing the screws. There was also a repair that had been done to the front face using putty and sand paper, but wasn't re-stained so I had to touch that up. I also had to put in supports on the bottom shelf because there was none per design and would have sagged as soon as I put weight on it. I contacted customer service for a partial refund for my extra work on the stand and to save them return shipping fees. Their only options were to return the stand for a new one, but they were completely out of stock until for 3 months or return the stand for a refund. I made the stand usable after hours of building and fixing it so did not want to return it at all, just a discount of 10% or 20% or something. They refuse to answer me. So now I have to disassemble it and return it, which costs them much more in shipping than a discount. Then I have to wait for a refund and then purchase from someone else. Terrible customer service and a terrible experience!
Tip for consumers:
Check everything really good before spending hours to assemble just to have to take it back apart.

I ordered two humidifiers that I needed asap because my son is sick. It was scheduled to be delivered between 6pm and 7pm. No one showed up. So I called Target.com and inquired about my products. I was placed on hold for seven minutes until they found my shopper. Then I was informed that they would not be able to deliver until the next day at 8pm. I informed the rep that I could not wait that long and that I wish they would have contacted me about this. Before I could get my sentence out, the rep says well you just want to cancel the order. I said yes because I need to get someone to go get the products the same day. She cancelled my order and was supposed to refund my entire order but she didn't. My refund was $15.96 short. I called customer service again and informed them of the mistake. The rep was very rude and told me that they would not refund $5 for a promotional coupon that did not affect what I paid for my products and was very rude about it. Then she told me that all I was missing was $9.99. I told her that it did not add up. The numbers did not add up. Could I speak to someone else or a supervisor. She told me that their is no one else to talk to and that was it. So basically they took my money and was very rude. That was my first time shopping at target.com and it will be my last time. I am contacting legal counsel because I can't be the first person that Target has taken money from fraudulently. I am also contacting my bank for fraud.
Tip for consumers:
Do not purchase two of anything. This way if you have to cancel or return. Target will not reduce your refund by $5. Also don’t use same day delivery because it will not happen and they will try to keep your money.

Worst customer service ever! I bought a vacuum today for $60 to be shipped to my house (advertised as that price, see picture in comments). I was notified via email 6 hours later that my order was canceled (I didn't cancel it and there was more than sufficient funds in my account). I contacted customer service to figure out why they canceled my order, only to find out Target charged my card, then canceled my order because they advertised the wrong price and REFUSED TO HONOR IT! The manager told me that I would have to reorder it for $139 more, over 6 full hours after my order had been placed. When they refused to send me the product and honor their advertised price (that I had already purchased and been charged for) they then told me that the funds taken from my account would be on hold with the bank for up to seven business days! The manager that I originally had to escalate it with hung up on me, so I had to recontact customer service and re-escalate the issue. The next manager told me the best they could do was to give me 15% off of the new advertised price (which mind you was over $100 more than I had bought it for!). Target, you should be ASHAMED for not honoring your orders- at the very least you need to probably retrain your management in customer service support. 100% lost a loyal customer.

The Woodridge, IL Target store isn't helpful at all in given any work to those who live close to that store & who can't drive a car with having a medical condition, so she or he won't have to waste $$ on taxies, any work at all the store specially after the Dominick's store that was next to it had closed in 2013!

Oh, Target... how the mighty have fallen... I have shopped at Target for many, many years. Never have I been so frustrated with this store. I have been shopping at the Target in McKinney on 121 since 2012. Great store. Clean. Most of the employees are nice. I could almost always find what I was looking for. That is until the last 3-4 months. I first started noticing the things I purchased regularly were not in stock. Then their place in the shelves disappeared completely forcing me to buy online and from other retailers because I would find lower prices. Then this particular location did a remodel. Which was a total nightmare. I've been in half a dozen times since the remodel was completed and still cannot find the things I am looking for. Whoever merchandized this store should be punched in the throat. This past weekend my husband and I spent an hour in there doing our normal grocery shopping. We had to split up to find the items we were looking for and some of them we still couldn't find. We were exasperated and finally left. We decided to order the items we could not find on Target.com. I received an email today stating that those items are not going to be delivered in time. Really? Also while I was in their website I noticed that they have certain things that cannot be shipped unless you spend $25 even if you're a Redcard member. I am going to start shopping at a different Target to see if I have a better in-store experience. If not then I will be searching for a new store to shop at. Oooooh, and I can't forget that Target now plays music. Ugh. Totally distracting and annoying.

I love Target. Though they do not have as many awesome deals as they used to. Their shipping is relatively slow when you use the free shipping from your Red Card. The clothes used to be really good, but now it seems like the quality has dipped a bit. The shoes and shirts do not seem to last quite as long. Target is still fun and I always choose it over places like Walmart. I am disappointed that they stopped carrying my favorite bathroom cleaner, Mr. Clean Shower and Bathtub cleaner.

If I could give zero stars I would. First I ordered my item on November 30th for a Christmas Santa Suit. I received my item December 6th when I opened it I was missing the pants and tie. I called right away not to mention the hold time each time was about 25 minutes. I was told that they would send me a replacement because I was missing my items. The lady said she would send me an email I would receive my outfit by the December 13th. NO Email no tracking number nothing. Called never received my order on December 13th. Not to mention had to cancel the photographer because the Santa suit was for Christmas pictures and my sons Christmas play. Everything completely ruined. Called back on the 13th A guy named Bryce acted like it was Ups fault and asked me if I contacted them. NO because I never got a tracking number was informed they sent it to my email and to check my spam and I informed everyone I never received any emails. So come to find out my replacement got cancelled. Not sure with how that happened Bryce said were you aware of that. No obviously I wasn't why else would I be calling looking for my order. He said he reordered it and it would be here December 19th. So I had to cancel the photographer again. NO Christmas cards such a huge inconvenience without remorse from the staff at target. It's truly upsetting. I asked for a refund and then was informed to call back in a few hours for it. I'm really disappointed in how the situation in general was handled. I hope that target really looks into this and will help to improve the issues so that this doesn't happen to more people.

I received duplicates of a cookie jar and liked the bed bath and beyond one better so I went to return the Target one. I showed the return barcode that has the cookie jar on it and they tell me they're not allowed to scan barcodes from registries to return items. Then I was told that it was a target plus item and there's nothing in store could do and that I would have to contact customer service. So I do and am connected to a girl name Taylor who works on the target plus side… She's telling me that I have to reach out to the family member who bought it who lives 2 1/2 hours away she's going to ship the family member a return label which then the family member who lives 2 1/2 hours away will have to send to me because it wasn't charged on my card and she can't send me a SIMPLE LABEL. This family member is elderly as is and it's not a simple thing for her! She then proceeded to laugh because I was clearly frustrated and she was 0 help and the worst customer service I've dealt with. I'm a huge Target shopper, so this was super disappointing.
