I was given 4 different matchmakers over the time I had a Tawkify package. That alone should be a red flag. The matchmakers I had left the company so it had nothing to do with any incompatibility with me as a client. This meant I had to do an introductory meeting with every matchmaker. I paid nearly $7000. It's is 100% not worth the cost. You don't get many subsequent sessions with your matchmaker. What you do get are optional phone calls after a date to review the results and see if your match agreed to a second date. I find it hard to believe that you are getting your moneys worth if you don't have much interaction with a matchmaker beyond the initial session.
The matches I had weren't awful but none resulted in a second date. Again, all my date feedback was positive. It seems highly strange to me that of the 9-10 matches I had, none resulted in at least a second date. The dates I had I could have found on a cheap app. They weren't extraordinary or any more serious about dating than someone you would find on an app.
I had spoken with the employee who sold me my package and told that my experience was unusual and disappointing. After that confirmation I did reach out to customer success only to be sent the agreement I had signed and a "sorry it didn't work out" email. I have pushed back for a possible refund and told that they don't offer that since they did provide their services even if the services were subpar and the fact that I had to go through 4 matchmakers due to no fault of my own.
If you read the fine print, you are essentially locked into the plan once you pay and the only way you can get a refund is if you successfully match with one of the matches and can prove that it's true by being in promotional material, etc. The rate that I got matches was fast enough that even if one had resulted in second date, there would be minimal time to see what happens.
I would definitely avoid at all costs. There are other matchmakers who will personalize their services with you which I have already found in the Philly area. The responses I have received from them have been cold and the final email I got after my last unsuccessful date with just a simple "good luck, we know you will find someone".
I paid $6,800 for 6 matches with the belief that I would have dates that were well matched for my personality, lifestyle and physical attributes. I also believed the service would have higher caliber candidates than the apps. It did not. In fact, it drove me to get back on the apps, where I have had success. If I could go back, I would have bought a purse instead.
My first match was so off-point, customer service provided me with an additional match for free. My second match was OK; I was trying to keep an open mind and said I would see him again; he agreed, but ultimately neither of us reached out. After that, my matchmaker essentially asked me to lower my standards so she could have better luck finding matches for me. After arguing with customer service for a refund, which they refused, I switched matchmakers. It didn't help. The matches are only as good as their candidate pool, which is not impressive. I felt the matchmakers had quotas to meet, sending me on dates with people who were nowhere near what I was looking for. Twice, it took a while to find matches, and by that time I was already dating someone I met outside of the service. Note, they will not refund you if you find a relationship outside of Tawkify, only if that someone was found through their service.
Tawkify was a waste of my time and money. So much so, I forfeited my final two dates. Buyer beware prior to signing the contract; take note of the refund agreement as what they sell you on, vs what it says, do not align.

I signed up for this site hoping that I would find someone to chat or meet. But I was never given a single person after listing what kind of person I was interested in. The site doesn't allow to search members and the cost was non-refundable. They have people who do the searching for you and there is no guarantee that they will find someone. I feel you are throwing money away by not giving you a chance to look through a list of current members. Try other sites and pass on this one.

I've been a paying customer for 10 months. I paid $6,800 for six matches. I've gone on 3 dates. Three dates in almost a year. Of the three dates 2 did not even come close to meeting my expectations and one was just okay. There is no incentive for matchmakers to match you in an expedited manner. The entire model is geared towards Tawkify taking your money and trapping you in a contract, then barely doing their part. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it, either. They have you by the purse strings. You are also more often than not matched with people who are not paying for the service. So they also have nothing to lose. You as a paying customer hold all the risk and the service is awful. I would steer very clear.

I think this service could greatly benefit from an app. Based on the level of investment, I should never feel in the dark as to whether anything is happening or not. I was aggressively pressed to submit feedback from an initial date, but have received no such communication in return. I'm not sure what that means and I would expect at this level that ambiguity would not prove to be an issue. I guess I would prefer to know the status of things and occasional emailed communication do t provide that or any level of confidence on the contracted service.

When I applied, I was assured there were eligible men in their database. They tried to upsell me to a personal matching service. I told them I wanted to see the quality of men before considering an upgrade. In 10 months I didn't hear a word from them. I reached out via email and never got a response. Don't waste your time or money.

Absolute scam.They lie from the get go. First, they say it is refundable it is not. As long as they give you matches they don't have to return your money. Second, they say both males and females pay, they do not. Females are allowed into their portfolio, and they will take anyone( and I mean anyone). Third, they don't match your preferences at all, they just give you anyone regardless of your preferences. Four, their matchmakers are not good, I cycled through 3 because each one was terrible. The girls on there are not cute, intelligent, and have more baggage than tinder chicks. It is not reputable and do no use this service. Once they get your money they are done with you. I filed multiple complaints and at the end they just said too bad do you want to extend.

I paid around 8 K for 10 matches. I believe I only had 2 matches that turned into more than the first date. But none turned into anything more than going to a movie or dinner. Didn't turn out to be a match. I feel like a wasted a lot of money and time for nothing. I don't know how their matching system works but 2 out of 10. I guess that is where they get the 80% success rate.

I've been scheduled for two dates recently, and I wanted to share my experiences with you. Unfortunately, the first date was a no-show, and although the person did provide a warning beforehand, that information wasn't communicated to me. The second date was booked at a location that turned out to be closed for a while. Both instances required me to drive for over an hour one way, which, given my busy schedule and the need to arrange for a babysitter, has been quite challenging.
I understand that I don't live in a major city, but I also don't reside in a super small town. Thus, the significant travel time without actually meeting anyone has been less than ideal. However, I must mention that the coaching aspect of this experience has been a saving grace.

Answer: The app so much better because you can look at photographs and get a sense of the person and you know yourself much better than these matchmaker so only meet you for an hour and then only give you a 10 or 15 minute follow up. I actually feel bad for these matchmakers, because I think they are forced by this model to deal with a lot of very disappointed people.
