Relationships need to begin with an in-person assessment. These types of methods where you talk online first are designed to leave you disappointed in-person. The way to shake the stranger lock is to be expecting an in-person one on one, you just need to know the face and the name first before the in-person, the less that is said online the before the in-person meeting the better.
I can't say enough good things about my matchmaker at Tawkify. Signing up took me a bit since I was unsure if I could afford the service, but I can't be happier that I decided to do it. I've been on 7 dates since I signed up in November, and have paused my remaining matches as I am in a relationship with my 7th match and there are lots of sparks flying :)
I was contacted by Tawkify to set up a profile to match with men. I did not have an account. Apparently I matched with someone and this match maker set up a video chat with me. She asked me questions and was very rude about my take on a political issue. She was making fun of my opinions and was just very rude. If I was you, I would run. The last thing she said was she was going to be sure to tell the other match makers about what I said and I am sure she is slanting it with her biases. So that is fine with me. I just think you need to know that if you don't agree with the match maker, you are out! So basically the man that paid for this service will never meet a possible match because of his match makers opinion. That, in my opinion, is a rip off!
I'm sorry that we missed each other today! Matchmaking is inherently such a vulnerable process, and the last thing we want is for anyone in our community to feel judged for their beliefs or preferences. I'm disappointed that this was your experience. It looks like you had a screening with another matchmaker after this review was posted, and I hope that one was more reflective of our culture. I'm still in the very beginning stages of working with Tawkify and I can't believe how transformational their process has already been for me. I ended up transferring to a new matchmaker when I realized the first pairing wasn't the best fit, and am blown away by how much my new MM 'gets me.' I really feel like she's going to find the right, super unique, dream matches for me to start my dating experience again. Not to mention the BRILLIANT coach they have on staff. My first coaching session no joke changed my life - it opened up an awareness of how my past trauma has filtered out the kind of men I actually want to be with, and I'm taking steps to heal that so I can make the most of the incredible matches I'll be paired with when that happens soon. Honestly, I feel so excited and affirmed by this process and can't wait to see how it all turns out. Whether I 'find my match' or not through this process, I will have found more of myself and that's worth it all.
I had a terrible experience with this dating service. For the nearly $10k price tag, the quality of the matches and the quality of the service are woefully inadequate. In my view, the matchmakers did not actually pay attention to your personality or preferences, despite the promised bespoke process and individualized search. And the frequency, number, and quality of matches was terrible. I live in New York City and had virtually no limitations or filters on the matches I would consider, yet tawkify professed not to be able be able to find me a date. (I'm a successful, active, objectively attractive woman in my early 40s.). Every time I expressed concern about the process my matchmaker shut off communication and sent me to customer service. It was a tremendous waste of my time and energy and I do not recommend this to anyone.

While he was nice, he just wasn't for me. He was clearly not in good shape, and he also isn't really in healthcare. He's a biller, albeit for a healthcare institution.I work out and would like to be with someone who also does.

They make up stories and lied to me. They charged me $15k for 12 matches, but later I found it costs only 6k. Obviously they upped the price after interviewing me. They are liers and no integrity in business

I paid $100 to be a part of their database, which got me one call where they tried to upsell me the whole time and then never heard from them again. Like, at least send updates. What a scam.

Answer: The app so much better because you can look at photographs and get a sense of the person and you know yourself much better than these matchmaker so only meet you for an hour and then only give you a 10 or 15 minute follow up. I actually feel bad for these matchmakers, because I think they are forced by this model to deal with a lot of very disappointed people.
