TeamViewer is a good option while working like a team or from a distance. It provides basic function of screen sharing and data transfer from one place to the other place. You may share data from PC, Laptop or a smartphone, it equally works on these all devices. While transfering big files, it shows some difficulty and u may only work with internet connectivity.
I called for support. Team Viewer committed fraud. These people should be prosecuted and incarceated. Thet signed me up for a $ 55 a month charge on some other service. I plan to complain to the New York Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission to shut these people down. Beware. They are dangerous crooks!
I have been a corporate Team Viewer user with a paid annual subscription for over 4 years. All in all it is a pretty good tool. I do however question the leadership decision making as far as new wiz bang features vs. completing just basic functionality. I have been asking for an audio cue when a new customer requests a session for over 3 years. They provide an audio cue when a chat message comes in, and an email when a session is requested, but not a simple basic audio cue. When working with multiple machines and monitors, this is a critical but simple ask. Their stubbornness is troubling and diminishing my confidence in the product.
Product itself was OK, but they refused to refund after accidental renewal of an yearly subscription. I ended up paying for 2 years now, when I only needed one.
They are essentially making business on people not reading their EULA. On yearly subscriptions:
"In order to terminate a subscription, a written request must be submitted at least 28 days prior to the date of renewal"
I respectfully asked for a refund, but they are unapologetic about it.
I cannot believe I received an automatic renewal notification from TeamViewer today... the very day of the automatic renewal. There was no notification prior to today. I had no intentions of renewing and since the subscription was completed online, via a phone conversation, I was completely unaware of a 28 day prior to renewal policy which can only be delivered in writing!
Of course, I have closed the credit card account before they were able to make the charge but I do suspect I will receive some sort of attempt to damage my credit in retaliation of their shady business practices.
We are entirely too busy to keep up when every online subscription will be renewing. To not send out an invoice at least 30 days in advance is an absolutely horrible business practice. I will be voicing this review on every outlet possible in order to keep other businesses from an obvious trap set by a predatory company.
The software was great when it worked.
The customer service was the most appalling i have EVER received.
They tried to renew my subscription but without notifying me in advance, just took the money.
I ended up having to get it back via the bank.
They offered no apology, no way of making it right and basically threatened me that i had to pay.
I didn't and they won't be getting it.
Absolute joke of a company.
Didn't want a business licence in the first place as I only intended to use the software to support my elderly father with his I. T. needs but the software kept saying that I was using it for commercial purposes. Quick call to their support line ended up convincing me to buy a business licence. When I tried to cancel on renewal, I was told it was too late because I hadn't given them 28 days notice. Told if I didn't pay, they would use debt collectors to collect money. Yet, they only sent me a reminder email 14 days prior to renewal. So, I'm left with a £460 bill to use a bit of software once or twice a month to help my father make his Westfield claims. Clearly I would advise NO ONE to use Teamviewer, let them go out of business and then maybe they'll reflect on how human beings SHOULD treat one another.
Overpriced software with predatory hidden terms and conditions. Numerous complaints online about their unexpected renewal conditions and they are quick to threaten customers with legal action and submission to collections.
If you account should reach a status where an invoice is outstanding, they will refuse to communicate or work with you unless you pay. Don't pay? It will go to collections. Absolutely no customer service.
The company will automatically renew your subscription and charge you the annual fee even if you send them a cancellation notice. If you have been victimized by this company and you are a resident of California or your company does business in CA, please file a complaint with the CA Dept. of Consumer Affairs. They are easy to find online. You should also pursue a claim through your credit card company and sue TeamViewer in your local small claims court to get your subscription refunded. TeamViewer is RIP off!
Very poor business practices: Forcefully feeding ads to their paying customers about further paid upgrades. Also a very shoddy pricing model for the products. Choose a competing product instead who actually see their customers as something more as a bag of money!
I got this for my business to be able to be remote. At first it was decent, however it went up in price and down in quality. The cost over $650 a year, no weekend support, when you do call for support you are in queue for over an hour and most of the time you will be disconnected when you get close to first or second in queue. When you do try to cancel you will get the run around just enough of a run around that you will miss the 28 day cancellation. I 100% would NOT recommend this company. Customer service is horrible and so is the quality of the service itself.

Be careful when using this solution as things always seem to change with regards to what your are licensed for and able to do with this utility. It appears this company is now being predatory with their pricing/licensing and taking advantage during the current Pandemic.
TeamViewer does not allow you to cancel an upcoming renewal unless you cancel your subscription more than 28 days before the prior subscription expires. This unnecessary restriction is predatory and cannot be justified from a customer's perspective (but it's great for TeamViewer's bank accounts!).
Renewals are billed on an annual basis. If I want to cancel an upcoming renewal prior to the new term I should be able to. NOTE: I'm not talking about cancelling my current year of service, I'm talking about cancelling my UPCOMING year of service.
Avoid this shady company at all costs.
Teamviewer has the worst customer support I have ever encountered. We were on a 14 day free trial and they charged our account for a full year subscription. We have been trying to cancel the subscription and they are ignoring our support ticket by sending us responses saying they have a backlog of support tickets.
I have called their 800 number 3 days in a row and they disconnect with us everytime. From what I can see on complaints on the BBB this is a recurring issue. Teamviewer makes it almost impossible to cancel their subscription and they don't give refunds. Do no sign up with them. Its a slippery slope.
Tip for consumers:
Do not sign up with TeamViewer. Awful company

14 day free trial and they charged out account anyway.
Teamviewer has outdated cancellation policy. Buyer beware they require a 28 day cancellation before contracts ends. Most states have laws against this type of cancellation. Call your BBB agency and complain. Don't take this laying down.
I do not recommend this company please stay away from them if you can. I reached out to them several times about a pro rated refund because our policy auto renewed during the Coronvirus shutdowns. They refused any refund and said that it clearly states in their cancellation policy they don't do refunds. I think it is unethical for a business like this to not work with a small business likes ours to help us in a time of a global pandemic when cash flow is critical. We will never do business with this company again because of this and the poor customer service I received as well. The company blocked my email after the 4th request I sent that went unanswered looking to get answers. Horrible business practice I'm very disgusted.
Was in a relationship with a man who stole my identity and put all of my private details on TeamViewer. Illegally stalking and harassing me through my devices and spying on my 11 year old with his clients tagging along, hacking my emails and fb accounts. TeamViewerneeds to be shut down. Shawn Jensen

The company is fraud and try to lute money from the customer. As business user there is no option to cancel your account, only option is sending email. If you forgot they will threaten to pay money. We have to think seriously to take legal action against their cooked policy and payment options
Only needed it for a project of 1 month. Now it got renewed automatically for an entire year. And the product wasn't even good. I just had to go with it due to my customer. So even I didn't use it for over 10 months they refuse to refund me.
Do not be fooled to pay this company any money. The product is under developed and not cross version compatible. It is also infested with security risks. Meaning you will only be able to remote to a unit unless its using the exact same version. Even though you pay.
Use ANY other remoter and save yourself a lot of money and grief
I used this program for 2-3 years with not many issues, but with newer versions, I started to find more and more bugs and know it escalated into disconnection after 1-2 minutes of sessions. When I try to reconnect it give me a message that time is up, and should buy this program, but how? Even if I wanted this program, which I don't, thank you. There is no option for personal use (cause it should be free, which isn't) and only business which is like 30 bucks, don't have, even if I had not for this.
As you can see in image this message pops up and even after I wait the given time it resets time and the same message pops up again.
TeamViewer works really well for me! I've been using TeamViewer for nearly five years, and I find it very user friendly, highly functional, and low footprint on my desktop. If all else fails, I'll read the manual (as with any software tool), and I don't have to do that much with TeamViewer; it's quite intuitive and easy to navigate.
Tip for consumers:
It's easy to download and install, therefore no shipping charges.

Terrible Customer service. Even if you use the free version, they will mark you as commercial and make you pay. I was attempting to access personal photos and they would not remove my block. They said I had to fill out a form that could take up to a month to review. STAY AWAY! Bad Service, Bad Business. BAD!
Like the other reviews say - very sneaky renewal conditions.
In the small print, unless you cancel 28 days prior to renewal, you get charged for a full year in advance.
And it's so convoluted to cancel - I couldn't even find out how to do so. So guess what - up for another $1800 for just 3 users!
We started using Chrome Desktop Remote (free) Seems to work just fine
The charged me over $200 for subscription. But can never get help. You can call *******253 number and it just hangs up after 30 minuets. Can't get anyone on the website. They keep automatically renewing and can't stop it. Nightmare
I have used teamviewer on my PC for several years. I am happy they made and aneroid app, and it even works well. With a bit of time on it controls will be second nature. Only thing I saw so far was it does not zoom out far enough, but that is not a show stopper.
So disappointed, have been a customer for several tarts. I raised a ticke about my bill- it was 10 days later so I called as needed to sort this out. They now say it is too late for me to downgrade to remote access as I use teamviewer for one client only. I feel the whole experience is disjointed and over priced especially at the present climate.
