It is the worst service experience that I ever had encountered within US. About one year ago, when I used this service to connect my own personal laptops at the different locations within home. The teamview technical support contacted me and claim that this is for the business usage. Even if the teamview claim that any non-commercial usage will be free and my usage of teamview is quite low frequency (only once or twice within one week). Out of supporting their business, I paid one year fee. However, they put so-called automatic renewal clause in a link to activate the first year's usage via a "no-reply" email address. In other words, even if your paying for the one year fee, you can not directly use it unless you clicked the agreement. Secondly, before reaching the deadline of renewal, this company NEVER sent any reminders to the clients there is an auto-renewal for the license. Also when I decide to cancel it or opt-out, it seems that nowhere to find the direct cancel button on their webpage. So I sent them an email via their email link (support-request@...) on their website (showing at that time) to request the cancellation. However, I never received an response. A few weeks later, I received an invoice of $588 to claim that I ordered the service. At that time, I called their phone number and noticed that there is so-called ticket system to cancel the service. Then I sent an email via ticket to request the cancellation. To my surprise, the service representative still claimed that I ordered the service and owed another new year's fee since there is "so-called" 28-days in advance before the expiration. It is very sensational! No any other companies within US have practiced the service like this especially to a non-commercial or individual client. Not allow clients to cancel even if the users do not need the service. After a few emails exchanges between that service representative and I, the service representative still claimed that they never received my cancellation request and insisted that I "ordered" the service and need to pay for another year's fee. By the way, if one does not go through their so-called ticket systems, your email message will NOT be considered as a valid request and will NOT be handled in fact! After another few weeks, they kept sending me invoices along with the so-called fees, increasing weekly. I would like to share such an experience of this notorious company to all peoples to fully aware of this kind of business practice here.
I would strongly suggest that all US consumers who have experienced such an auto-renewal trap or fraud should report your own experiences to the US Federal Trade Commission for further investigations. Let us help to purify the business environments within US. We only need those companies who are honest and ethical to be prosperous within US.

Stay away from their subscriptions, Teamviewer will make you pay for a year even though you cancelled the service and don't use it anymore.
We cancelled 27 days before the subscription expired with mitigating circumstances explained to them, they refused the cancellation and made us aware that cancellation is only allowed 30 days before expiry date.
They insist on payment for another 12 months although we don't use their service anymore.
It is hard to understand why we have to pay for something we don't use.
I would recommend many other services such as Anydesk or even free remote services that doesn't lock you in with scare tactics and make you pay for something you do not use or need.
Customer support is also pathetic, their sales team also just want to sell and not listen to customers requests.
Answer: They say I don't qualify to talk to a real person when I call the number and they don't respond to my tickets...
Answer: Definitely Chrome Remote Desktop. Been using for about 4 years now and haven't had any issues. Improvements over the few years since I first started using it have made it even better.
