This site is incredible. I use it all the time to access my computer at home from work. Never had issues. It's fast and reliable. They also provide really good apps for android and iphone. Highly recommend.
10 months are remaining on my year-subscription. Unlike most services, LogMeIn will not refund the next 10 months that we will not be using the subscription. Customer for many years. Clunky software and the service is even worse. Hung up on me the first time that I called to cancel.

I have tried unsuccessfully to cancel my account (which is on auto renewal). There is no online button or form to cancel. Trying to find the customer service number to call is nearly impossible. Once you do find the number, the agent helpfully tells you that you can't quit without a valid reason. I'm not even asking for money back. I just don't want to auto renew. This company is engaged in high pressure unethical practices. I would recommend avoiding it at all costs.

This company has steadily went downhill. They Jack prices up 150 percent EVERY YEAR - they formulate their one single email alert to wind up in junk mail hoping nobody sees it and then auto bill your credit card. F these dishonest people. Never again. Stay away. You've been warned.
I got 3 mails saying my account was accessed from russia, india and italy, okay fine, who are you again? I can't remember doing anything on their site... The location log didn't mention anything of access from anywhere...
We cancelled and paid off our account balance a few months ago, and we are STILL getting bills from the company, along with now threats of being sent to collections. Every time I email, I am told it's being taken care of, but yet another bill shows up, even though I show that they cashed the check that was sent. Horrible company with horrible customer service. Don't waste your time or money on them.
STAY AWAY! Logmein's "new" direction is expensive and deceptive. I've used Logmein for years. We also recommended it to all our clients as an easy, inexpensive way to allow us into their systems for support or file transfers. In the past year they have raised the price several hundred percent just to get the same capabilities. We're going to ask all our customers to switch support programs and are currently looking for an alternative.
Great salesman sold me the product. I clearly outlined what was needed and I was guaranteed it was manageable. I just required the ability to have an out of hours diversion.

Being an Australia based company, it was difficult talking to anyone due to different time zones. When I finally got someone they were all talk and little action.
I constantly was reaching out explaining my concerns and was promised it would be fixed.

I've have had a logmein account for over 8 years. 8 Years! It had just come to my attention that they were billing me TWICE for 2 different accounts. One which was closed 5 years ago, but they just kept charging the card. I spoke to their customer service and they are absolutely not willing to help in any way. Do NOT use these guys, they have horrible business practices. Totally unethical.
Logmein is TERRIBLE! Do not sign up under any circumstances. They increase the price of your subscription and don't even send you a bill! I didn't even realize I was subscribed as they took increasingly large amounts of money from me! Then when you go to their website there is no easy way to unsubscribe! I ended up having to call them in America to finally cancel my subscription renewal. They make it as difficult as possible to unsubscribe. Very shady practices...
It's been said you can tell a lot about a company as to how they deal with the tough (upset) customer issues. This was the case with us. Neil helped defuse what could have been a small explosion.
In short, We had a wonderful tech support experience from Neil. I had questions from the acquisition of Jive and things didn't go so well. I was a little miffed, to say the least.
Why? No LogMeIn account manager called us to ask if we needed help, and there was no boarding to know how to navigate from Log Me In back to the old Jive VOiP accout. Our toll free phone # was disconnected, but the bill was paid. I had valid reasons to be hopping mad.
Granted, a few things fell through the cracks. It happens and there was nothing for us to gain by being mad or upset about this and tossing LogMeIn under the bus with a 1-star rating.
Neil was kind and professional and nailed it for me in 5 minutes. This is why I'm giving LogMeIn a 5-Star review.

Don't blow up and toss them under the bus just because things seem new or different. Call their tech support and give them some kindness and you'll get the same in return.

We were using JIVE's VOiP service. It was acquired by LogMeIn and we are now using the same VOiP and PBX with SoftPhone apps effectively. Well done.
Had to re-image XP systems and found out Logmein cannot be reloaded. Paid the yearly fee of $1600 6 months ago for the access and now halfway through the year it is unusable. Their customer service just said they're sorry but no refund can be provided and there's no one to talk to beyond the person who answered the cust service phone. Super disappointed to be treated so poorly after being a customer for many years.
I think the title says it all, but I was happy where I was a few years back when I paid $500 for 200 seats. Every year they've jacked it up and now they are eliminating our level of service and forcing us to move to a plan that costs almost $3500. The worst part is they gave us a month's notice which isn't enough time to move so I have to stay for at least a year while I figure out our next step. I called them and they didn't apologize or empathize. They just don't seem to care.
I've been a loyal customer for years. We recently went through a merger situation and no longer needed service from LogMeIn. It is impossible to cancel your account; they send you from department to department until you drop off of the call, or promise to call back and never do. Based upon this experience alone, I would never do business with this firm again and advise all to be weary of their lack-of-customer service.
I've been using Logmein for more than 12 years, and you would think that the company care about its loyal and long-standing customers. Not this company, this year as it has been doing over the last few years, has been doubling the prices to where, what I once paid in 2016 $554.00, in 2019 they are now charging me $3499. 99. Last year, I paid $1400. This year I will no longer be funding their billion dollar sales revenue. Thanks but no thanks.
They just charged my card which was out of date! I was about to give them a different card due to a change in business but this behavior does not bode well. Good product or not - I am close to raising 'be cautious' warning on this company! I have requested a refund and they point me to their 'policy'. So next stop - the bank. If a card is expired, I should be protected against receiving charges against it?
I try this product for one year I paid for the first year $ 49, The renewal came twice $ 99 :( too expensive. 100 % from prior year! The worst thing is the auto renew button its no where to be found and for my surprise you have to called to 800 number to do the cancellation they are the only one can turn it OFF, Unfair, no?. Even no message to let you know your product its about to be expired so we have the option to continue or not without messing up your account and paying extra fees to the bank because caught out of guard
They make it so you can't cancel online. They raise prices every year. When I joined in 2014 I was paying 52.92, and it was 377.99 in 2018. That's a 614% increase. Stay away from them! Find a trustworthy local IT company, they will be able to help you way better that these corporate idiots.
Very angry with them on their auto-renewal policy. Had called them last year after their auto renewal had happened to cancel auto renewal. This year, they conveniently didn't have record and charged me the amount again. They have a no-refund policy, and the credit card company won't do anything about it... SO make sure to hang on to any "confirmation number" they give you if you cancel the service, or they will keep charging ENDLESSLY. A very poor policy, and a way to dishonestly keep stealing money from their customers.
Nearly impossible to receive support. NEVER sign up auto renewal, they make it extremely difficult to cancel. Support is outside of US and communication is extremely difficult. After trying to deal with their 'support', I will never have anything to do with this company again. I have been using their service since they were 'free'. Has gotten so expensive, it's no longer affordable for a small company like mine.

However when I went to cancel the service (because their subscription has gone form $50 to $265 in 3 years) and ask for a partial refund for the billing that occured in November they told me tough luck. Wow double bill me for 3 years and not have the courtesy to provide me a pro rated refund of the current year. Not an organization you want to work with. Stay away.
In a few years the annual automatically renewed subscription had increased by eight times by the time I noticed it. It had become about $400 per year. The most recent payment was refunded after my phone call, but no hope for the previous years of non-use.
The product is good as are other competitive products used in our business.
A company is represented by its employees whether it is customer support, sales and even in the community. We had the displeasure of delivering services to Aaron Roberts a LogMeIn employee who is rude and unprofessional.
I called support to cancel our monthly service and they can't help. I had to email some random sales person who is not getting back to me. I really hope American Express doesn't give them the money when I dispute the charge.
Unbelievable... Last year they charged me 199 for the service. This year they want 999... Who does that. Hey Logmein... Enjoy whatever that corporate market gives you and leave behind the people that made you popular!... No one would ever complain about a modest increase for good service... This? Is awful!
