My elderly mother called in a panic after receiving repeated collection calls for a product she firmly insists she does not want and did not order. Upon reading several sites' complaints about underhanded Telikin elder abuse tactics, I've warned my brother (who holds her financial PoA) to close her credit card account immediately to avoid their bogus charges since they apparently just keep on comin'. She hasn't even opened the box and upon a UPS store rep's instruction have told her to write "REFUSED; RETURN TO SENDER" on it and let UPS get rid of it, after she gets a receipt from UPS showing it's been returned.

Mom bought a table top and called to return it because it was too big for her table. I packed it up and sent it back. I called them to explain that my mother was 89 and has dementia and did not have wi-fi and they needed to cancel any request to send a laptop. I was told that she wanted it so they were sending it. Now 3 months later telikin is calling my mom looking for add'l pmts above the $170.00, $49.99, $19.99 and $19.99 they already took out of her acct. Mom said "I told the gentleman that I didn't have a computer that worked only my old visa one that I haven't seen in ages) Visa one? I have no idea where the laptop is or if they even sent it. I closed the credit card acct. She used. I have tried to call to get this taken care of and funny but the ONLY line that gets answers is sales. They just transfer to support that does not get answered. Buyer BEWARE.

My mom fell for these con artists and thought she was purchasing the computer for $400 plus a one time $19.95 for additional programs on it. I had warned her to never trust purchasing anything over the phone and giving her credit card out but she didn't listen. They initially charged her $173 and she received the computer with no paperwork saying what she had paid or what she owed. After that she started seeing random charges on her card from them for different amounts and late fees and noticed some of the charges said "Lease". She called them and was immediately hung up on when they realized she wasn't wanting to purchase and needed to discuss billing" Tried calling back over and over and could not get anyone to answer. She finally stopped payments on her card after they had taken around $368 from her since she couldn't get in touch with them. After that they called her saying they were repossessing the computer with no refund or filing charges on her. They called her a liar and refused to disclose to her any info on the so called lease they said she had with them or explain any of the charges on her card. We filed disputes on a couple of them but the card sided with them which I don't understand, she never signed anything, never received any lease papers and I know from my own experiences at a business, usually if you don't have a signed credit card slip, the business loses. This was a costly lesson learned for her on a small fixed income. These people need to be put out of business and the ones behind it jailed for the crappy way they treat seniors

This company over charges and delivers under specs that run on an Open-Sources Operating system. You can buy a better and faster machine for the same amount and install an OS like Ubuntu
My mother-in-law just passed away and she had purchased a WOW computer. I want to let everyone know that the Telekin/WOW computer is complete scam. Telekin and WOW are the same company. This computer, for the size and specs, should NOT be this expensive. (It's basically a Chromebook.) Additionally, they are not telling you that you will need to purchase an access plan in order to use this computer. You have to pay a monthly access fee in order to use the computer. Once you stop paying, the computer is inoperable and will not work. When you give your credit card,, you are agreeing to lease their software for an UNLIMITED period of time. Nonrefundable. Do not fall for this scam which is targeted at seniors. They are advertising *******@goodolddays magazine. WOW and Telekin are are taking advantage of seniors. #telikincomputerscam #wowcomputerscam

Keep getting run around about return label. Keep getting transferred from person to person, then finally leave voicemail. They call bk again another run around because no one can issue a return label
Supervisor did not agree to take back a $10.80 late fee that was imposed on me.
