But but, if you are young guy between 25-30 years then you should stay far away from this website. Believe me, you'll lose your self-esteem and develop trust issues. They are not looking for a good looking and honest boyfriend, they are looking for a financier.

Yes its true that they will nicely chat with you and make you feel special, but believe me when you'll be feeling butterfly in your stocmach due to love emotions, its a sign that somekind of hospital/accident or financial issue is around the corner.

Pros:

- Get a virtual feeling of love/affection because you can't get it in your real life.

- If you have nothing to do, it's a great website to kill your time.

- if you have plenty of money and you are looking for a way to sepnd it, join the premium membership and spend on girls.

- If you are an expat in Thailand and looking for a wife, then go for it. You'll get a lovely young wife. Of course only until you have sufficient money in your bank account.

Cons:

- You'll develop the trust issues and become anxious(depends on the type of person you are)

- Even if you get your perfect match, don't get too emotional and be ready when the reality strikes you. (it can strike in several ways like sudden block, financial request, hospital bills, accidents etc.)

- You never know if the 20-year-old girl you are talking to, already have 2 kids.

- Their English speaking/understanding ability is so poor that you'll often have to use google translator(even for simple words and sentences)

- Loss of peace of mind is guaranteed.

3 hours after posting this review and sending an email to the same address I did over the last few days, WWWAAAMMM my profile showed up and so did my photos, but still did not receive any email response from the site explaining why this had happened. So for no response from the website staff, my previous review stands. STAY AWAY.

This site thaicupid.com is a 100% complete scam. How is my experience. I signed up 3 days ago as a standard member meaning I did not buy a subscription. I wanted to check it out and see what it was like first. I have tested Asian dating sites because I have read many reviews and men complaining about how fake these sites are. So I signed for 3 days.

1. Uploaded 5 photos and received an email back saying the photos were approved and would take a few hours for them to show up. Waited 3 days and I noticed that my profile had no photo on my main login page. The content I wrote was there, but no photos. I then checked my photo section and I saw 2 of my photos, but they showed as hidden. Why hidden? I never selected to hide my photos.

2. I have sent multiple emails to *******@ThaiCupid.com and no reply. I have sent like 15 emails over the past few days, and yet not one reply.

3. Here is the kicker. So I did a search. I selected I am a female searching for male. I put in my country, my city, my state and within 50 miles of my home. I am logged into the site, hit the search feature and I am not even showing up in the search results. How is that even possible. How is it possible that I am receiving interest and likes from members when my profile and photos are not even displaying in a search area.

If someone can explain this to me, I will take back everything I said and apologize.

I swear, there is a photo listed from the search that the guy looks like Dennis Rodman.

I am warning any male that is thinking about using this site. I have only tested this site so far and I am telling you it is a complete 100% SCAM. If you want to give away your money, just send it to me.

Actually, one moment. I am also testing Internationalcupid.com. Okay, my photo shows up there, but I am only guessing because I am a gold member.

I have a premium account with zero ads supposedly. They upgraded the site layout and now for the last 5-6 weeks ads keep popping up when you login. I contacted customer service multiple times and the one time they replied they gave me the complete runaround of excuses and still the ads persist. Members message me that I used to know in the past and when i ask them did you message me again they say no I didn't. It has happened many times. Bots. Also I'm a member of Asiandating an affiliated site as a free member. I get many many messages there I can't answer unless i pay. 1 woman I know and trust from Thaicupid and also a member of AD sent me a message on Asiandating which I can't answer. So I asked her why send me a message on a site which I can't answer. I tell her you can easily send it to me on Thaicupid and I can answer you with my premium account there. She told me she hadn't visited the AD site in 1 month and never messaged me there. Scam site, absolutely incompetent useless customer service, fraudulent deceptive sites.

Most women are looking for meal tickets from their failed marriages with multiple kids to take care of. Deceptive profiles with lying info. The list is endless why you shouldn't sign up for this site.

I have met a few honest women although most eventually lie to you for a multitude of reasons. And remember in Thailand they have a dowry system. And even if they have been married in the past more than 1 time each time they remarry the parents want a large dowry that even Thai men couldn't afford. But being a farang you can or so they think and expect. Money money money this is what you are good for. Be leery. Might you meet someone to marry who is honest yes. Can they speak English good enough to communicate face to face without a translator, no not the vast majority. So take your chances although do it face to face in Thailand as others have stated. These dating sites are a waste of money and time in general with extremely limited results. Expect a refund when the company breaks the options you signed up for, can pigs fly

Many Fake profiles.
Some of the sites have been caught with fake profiles (read the press) - ThaiCupid too? I joined and after 1 day received 75+ messages. ABout 1/3 were from USA based gals but the photos were found on the web and their profiles incomplete (they only put in age, and a few items). Obviously fake... did ThaiCupid add them or they just have no guards in place?
Also messaging is not available unless you pay. However for a handful of messages I was able to read... though from FAKE profiles... I will not pay such a HIGH fee for a service that seems to be full of fake profiles.
I wrote them feedback 5 times and only received 1 response and it was a canned message and not applicable to what I asked. Site is maybe worse than ThaiFriendly.
