Yesterday, Friday 13th I visited the Bunbury WA, Good Guys store to purchase items for a new renovated kitchen. I was fortunate to have a very knowledgeable and caring young man, Reece. He gave me all the information and more for the 4 appliances I needed. Today,14th, I went back and ordered 5 products. The customer service and product knowledge was fantastic. ComplaintI am writing to address an ongoing issue regarding the purchase of a washing machine from the store, Tempe GOOD GUYS, in July 2022. The LG washing machine I purchased has developed rust on the top. Following discussions with the store, we reached a mutual agreement to resolve this matter, which included a reimbursement of $450. Regrettably, despite assurances from the store manager, only $431.25 has been returned to me thus far, leaving a shortfall of $18.75. I was informed on the 8 April 2024 that the remaining amount would be credited to my account by April 10,2024. However, to date, I have not received the promised reimbursement. This lack of follow-up and failure to honour the agreement is disappointing and reflects poorly on the reliability and integrity of the store. In addition I was tricked into cancelling the Tribunal hearing on the 12 March 2024 with the promise mentioned above but it has not been fulfilled. I have spent hours on the phone enquiring of what is happening and why the unfounded delays with continuous excuses. They have not understood the importance of resolving this matter promptly and in good faith. Please do not trust them. They are dishonest.
I visited this Dubbo store ready with cash in hand coming out of an epidemic wanting to buy a deep freeze.
They had 4 on the floor i was happy to buy but they refused to sell me one of them even though they had stock ordered.
This is not good business and they dont look after their customers.
My friends and I will never walk into their store again and I encourage potential buyers to not waste their time walk into their store.

Went to Ballarat Good Guys on 11/10/22 to get a price on a Smart TV. Found the model after waiting 15 minutes for customer service and was given their "Best Price" quote which was the same as the shelf price. I advised the uninterested sales person that I was going price shopping. Went to the nearby opposition and couldn't believe the difference. Customer service was immediate and excellent, I received an excellent price after a bit of bartering and made my purchase. Telly delivered and working perfectly. I paid for my membership in Sep 2022 but did not receive on e Gazette as of Dec 2022. I called and was told the address was wrong which I found hard to believe cos I had a membership before for years. I was told that the ones I did not get would be sent and problem solved. As of today 1-18-23 I did not receive the Gazette so I called and talked to Abby. She blames the problem on Post Office. I said no Goodguys admitted it was a address error. She repeated six times it was Post Office then gets all cocky with me when I refuse that blame. I said refund my membership so she hangs up. I got nothing for my money this is Highway Robbery. I have read a couple of reviews and its apparent this a problem for others so I was lied and the Post Office was blamed.

After spending nearly $7000 on products at the Brighton store, delivery was organised. I knew the products were in store, so nothing was in transit. Plumber was arranged, electrical points completed. No delivery, no text message, could not get through to the store (kept getting hung up on) on the nominated day. Exasperated I rang head office and canceled the order to receive a full refund. Two days later a truck turned up with the goods at 7am! I said I'll take the dishwasher, but not the other items, as I had now purchased them elsewhere. Delivery of dishwasher was completed, bows removed, and it was then that I noticed two big dents on the door of the dishwasher. I called head office again, got someone's voicemail who said to email, but failed to provide email address, left a message but no one has returned my call. Please do not purchase from Good Guys Brighton unless the item is in store and you can take it with you, and can confirm it is not damaged

On the 1st September I bought a Range hood for the price of 450 dollars. There was a promotion which made me entitled of 80 dollars store credit. Today, October 8th I am still waiting for my goods which they don t have in stock. Also, Customer care of Good guys told me I am not entitled of the store credit because I didn t meet the terms and conditions - get the item before September 13th. First of all is not my fault that good guys sold me an item that they don t have. Almost two months and I am still waiting for the item. In addition, no store credit. Honestly, that was a Fraud!
We bought a fridge from the good guys Tempe. The instore service was good. We paid for premium delivery but got the worst delivery I have ever had from a store. It took 3 tries, which means 3 days home waiting, 3 times emptying the fridge and losing frozen food. The second time they rang and said they were 30 mins away then 8 mins then 4 mins and could we wait outside for them but never showed up. On ringing we were told that our fridge wasn't on the truck. When they did finally deliver it they wouldn't take the old fridge and didn't take the packaging from the new one or set it up as we had paid for. Really angry. Very poor delivery service.
On 8/10/2022 We went to Good Guys carseldine and bought Dishwasher and a Fridge. The sales person was Francois D. We were extremely appalled by the rude nature of the sales person with no time to talk. He stated that he is too busy to answer any queries because he had 3 other customers to serve. He stated " if you need my time come in the weekdays. Weekends are too busy for me'. You can check we have been a regular customer of good guys as well as my son(Sanchito Banerjee). This is the first time we experienced such an arrogant behaviour. The receipt number for fridge is S*******030.

I have been in the loop of speaking to concierge who then try to call Hisense asking them to call me. They don't call they call/ email them again and again no call. I have had this same problem since October 22 the new tv warranty from Hisense and the extended warranty is a waste of money I still can't get it fixed and consort he say again we will insist on a call back hahaha don't make me laugh you only constantly cut me off when you have me complains even luke at the call centre hung up as soon as I told him I've called 3 times today to sort this, he never spoke after that just disconnected the call

Again we had outstanding service from Good Guys Brighton. Have already purchased Oled Tv s and other appliances, We continue to use our Brighton store as we know personal service is personified. Last week we purchased a new Oled tv, Cannot speak high enough for tv consultant Michael. He listened to our needs and arranged for Peter Matheos of Your AVWorks to mount the tv. His work was so professional. Good Guys are very fortunate to have Michaels expertise. My wife is so impressed with the picture frame app that Michael informed us of. Absolutely no customer Service. After placing my order and taking my payment I have received no further info, several phone calls to i knowledge and I help sales Staff - I css as led sales as the. Customer service line is never answered.
I requested a refund after several failed attempts to arrange delivery and despite confirming the i lorded was cancelled no refund or any correspondence has been received.

Delivery is farmed out to incompetent operators who have no care of where they dump things. The good guys phone line even worse; lots of threats and blackmail.

Truly appalling service. Faulty dishwasher, replaced 3 times still faulty. Trying to contact Good Guys for help is like pulling teeth. Long waits on phone, ridiculously incompetent chat platform. I am still on the phone 45 mins as I type this.

I have the worset experience in my life ever in the good guys Aurbun. The store manager has no manners in the way dealing with customers. He is pointing fingers and shouting. When I told him the customers is always right He screamed
I asked him for his reason for his actions and he said it is our policy I request to see this policy and he refused to showe it to me. I am so disappointed with this type of service

Our Samsung TV has been faulty now for the last 3 weeks - no screen display, turned all dark.
I bought the TV with Concierge service for additional warranty some 3 years ago.
Reported the faulty TV to Good Guys' Concierge service who referred me to their underwriters D&G, and we had a visit from Woolleys, their contracted repairer, almost 2 weeks ago. Repeatedly I followed up on any repair or replacement action with GG concierge service, D&G and Woollys.
Apparently Samsung Australia is involved as well whether it is replacement/or repair.
So 4 parties involved and after almost 3 weeks no resolution! They all just pointing fingers.
You really wonder whether the Concierge service is of any value at all!
If this goes on much longer I have on option other then to complain to ACCC.
Ordered an oven and a dishwasher at the Black Friday sale. Upon purchase I arranged for a Monday delivery for the oven, dishwasher needed to be ordered in… Delivery never happened on that Monday! I went on to organise another date a few days later, but no delivery again. Despite calling every day, twice a day most days, it took 5 attempts at making delivery arrangements for my oven to be delivered. Keeping in mind that they kept promising me delivery so I had to be home on those days to wait for them not to show up!
In that time, my dishwasher had finally arrived and was scheduled to be delivered on the same day of the oven's 5th attempt and guess what? No delivery again!
I am lucky that I work from home so flexible with delivery date/ time but if one had to take time off work to be delivered, I would definitely not be buying from the Good guys! In that time I also had to cancel the electrician to connect the oven and cooktop (purchased elsewhere), so this whole ordeal means we've had no means to cook other than the barbecue and a little camping gas! Not ideal! It seems the Good Guys believe their time is more valuable than ours!
Also, in all this time, it is impossible to speak to anyone in management, they are either in a meeting, gone for the day or they will give you a call back NEVER!
Will I be buying from the Good guys again? Maybe in store, but I will never ever buy from them if it requires delivery! I would rather pay more or do without than put up with all that unnecessary stress!
It's now over 2 months that nobody from Good Guys (GG) in Cockburn central bothered to resolve the problems I'm facing with a purchase. I have been to the store on many occasions but was asked to call & email a manager named Cilla. Left so many massages for her and sent email but none returned.
This led me to lodge a complaint with the Consumer Protection department & I'm yet to receive a phone call from GG's. It seems no one is bothered. The have a bunch of unqualified staffs unable to deal with after purchase matters. The manager isn't doing her job & should be fired immediately. Hope someone from corporate office takes a quick action to resolve my issues. I haven't got much time left.
I edge all customers who may be tempered buy their slogan "payless- pay cash" take heed not to fell into their trap. The prices may look better but other retailers like Harvey Norman are far better in terms of prices & after purchase services & hence they will match any prices. Harvey Norman has a professional team, and they take after sale matters seriously in providing continued services. Customers should also consider Officeworks for computer stuffs and avoid Good Guys altogether.

Never again. The worst shopping experience ever. Shop elsewhere. Should be called the Bad Guys. They sell products that are not stocked and you could wait weeks or months.
Was given a timeframe of between 10am and 12. At 11.59am received a call to advise the driver was running 30 minutes late. By 2 pm I still hadn't received my clothes dryer.
Called them at 2.22 to see where my delivery was. Three times I had to call as their hold voiceover only lasts for 4-5 minutes.
Finally got to speak to someone who advised the delivery was rescheduled till the next day.
No courtesy call to advise. Then told I had to wait for another text message to advise what time my delivery would be arriving.
Exceedingly poor service, and wouldn't shop at The Good Guys or JB Hi Fi ad they use the same delivery company.
I ordered a product for my mother, the store called to say another store will fulfil the order, I then got an SMS saying it was coming, then another later the same day saying there was an issue can the store will contact me which it didn't.
I tried to call the store, no answer, when they called me back they told me they cancelled the order although no one had contacted me to tell me this, the store was no help and just said this is all I can see so you should get a refund.
With this not making sense, I called the customer care number for them to tell me there was no cancellation, the order is with Bankstown store and there was no refund being processed.
The time it has taken to chase up the store to do there job and deliver a product I ordered over a week ago is ridiculous, I could have driven to Harvey Norman and picked one up and taken it to her in less time than I have spent on the phone!

My review is on the company service not a product. This company is impossible to contact after you purchase, they show no interest in their customers. Their website backend is a mess few links work or return you back to the beginning. The product order search function is laughable, in fact chimps could do a superior job. NEVER WILL I BUY FROM THIS MOB AGAIN! I'm assuming that after you place a web order some fool in a senior position believes thats the end of customer interaction. HOPELESS!
