Yesterday, Friday 13th I visited the Bunbury WA, Good Guys store to purchase items for a new renovated kitchen. I was fortunate to have a very knowledgeable and caring young man, Reece. He gave me all the information and more for the 4 appliances I needed. Today,14th, I went back and ordered 5 products. The customer service and product knowledge was fantastic. I was so thankful to have a caring, knowledgeable with great customer service to help me. Thank you Reece and enjoy your break. Mary
ComplaintI am writing to address an ongoing issue regarding the purchase of a washing machine from the store, Tempe GOOD GUYS, in July 2022. The LG washing machine I purchased has developed rust on the top. Following discussions with the store, we reached a mutual agreement to resolve this matter, which included a reimbursement of $450. Regrettably, despite assurances from the store manager, only $431.25 has been returned to me thus far, leaving a shortfall of $18.75. I was informed on the 8 April 2024 that the remaining amount would be credited to my account by April 10,2024. However, to date, I have not received the promised reimbursement. This lack of follow-up and failure to honour the agreement is disappointing and reflects poorly on the reliability and integrity of the store. In addition I was tricked into cancelling the Tribunal hearing on the 12 March 2024 with the promise mentioned above but it has not been fulfilled. I have spent hours on the phone enquiring of what is happening and why the unfounded delays with continuous excuses. They have not understood the importance of resolving this matter promptly and in good faith. Please do not trust them. They are dishonest.
Brought a product paid for it then they sold it to someone else and they said nothing they could do about it worse service ever will not be back
Purchased a TV online in September 2021. July 2022 I noticed a thin green line running down the screen. Contacted the agent in Australia and provided them with serial number, photo and proof of purchase. Within an hour I had a response with a credit number to take to the Good Guys. Called them and then sent through all the details. Offered a replacement, credit or refund. I opted for a refund as I thought I would shop around. TV picked up on the Friday, heard nothing the following week despite 4 emails and 2 phone calls to their online department. Finally rang the store and was told to come in and bring paperwork etc and we can sort out for you there and then. Working away that week I did so on the Saturday the week after. We had picked out a Samsung 65inch to replace, it meant $300 extra but was happy with my choice - read reviews etc. Went to store and explained we would like a credit and what TV we were going to choose, also told him what the person on the phone and that store had said. His first response was that the Samsung TV was inferior and rubbish and that he would recommend another brand, $600 more. He read through my details the paperwork and then looked on his computer and said he could see the TV had gotten back to the warehouse. He then proceeded to say that they couldnt do anything and to call the online support team on Monday, he said he would call them also and explain that i had been given the run around and then he would call me. I wasnt pleased but thought at the time it wasnt his fault, Monday I called the support line number he gave, it went to a voice mail, i left my details, order number etc and asked them to call back. I received an email saying that my credit had been paid back into my account. I never heard back from ONLINE SUPPORT or the rude salesman who promised to call back after he spoke to support. Never again GOOD GUYS

Staff are so impolite and won't explain to you about the product. They don't care about you. So disappointed.
I admit that I was stupid to think a reputable company like The Good Guys will do things as they advertised. I purchased a fridge from them and not JIBI hifi although same price purely because of their promise of store cash. I never received it! When I finally rang, I was told it was sent sometime in Jan, I asked the online chat staff called Ankita but was only told they sent it! She couldn't care less if there is a problem with their tech as I resally not received once their promised store cash. They do not sent you email or reminder about the cash reaching your "Wallet" app and if it expires it will disapper from the app, she said, meaning there is no way in the world to find out if they have in fact sent it or not. Also I made the mistake of paying the money and sign up for their Gold Service Plan, I was swayed by the sales rep it is a good deal as it gives you extra store cash. Again, never receive it! I am going to repor their misleading behaviour to ACCC and I urge consumers who are scammed by this store cash scam to do the same!
Dont return calls, pass the buck, take far too long to do repairs.
