Many years ago when the Guardian was the Manchester Guardian it was a progressive newspaper with integrity. These days the online Guardian has gone full bore with the current version of "political correctness." #MeToo; the penis is a lethal instrument; males--especially hetero males--are simply not to be trusted; the female body is surrounded by razor wire, and that is exactly as it should be. Every day the reader has to wade through 8 or 10 "articles," many of them both enraged and banal, which amounts to a reign of terror. Does the Guardian actually believe in this, or is it all to boost sales? It is hard to say, even as the Guardian is increasingly hard to stomach.
I receive The Guardian through my email every morning and it is the first thing I read in the mornings. It is the most unbiased news I have found. Very interesting articles from around the world. No paywall but I do contribute to them occasionally because I like their unbiased news.
The quality has notably deteriorated. Very pro establishment newspaper full of bias, basically the "allowed" liberal news from the establishment point of view. Read Medialens and Glenn Greenwald for details. Famous for anti Assange and anti Corbyn and pro war campaigns.
The Guardian is one of the first places I turn as an authoritative source of information. Their articles are well written and authoritatively sourced, and they have a healthy left-leaning bias, which is a good thing. I highly recommend this website for anyone who really wants to know what is going on in the news. Plus, the site itself is very easy to navigate and is quite fast.
All I can say is that the reviews given to guardian speak for themselves. We must be more truthful to our viewers and stop following what is clearly lies.
May the force of GOD rule over our great USA.
Habitually posts misleading information and flat out wrong information. Credibility is gone and people like the ones who run The Guardian should not be allowed to manipulate the public. Sick!
The Guardian is just another one political sided news media! Horrible! All they do is bash Trump and welcome communist ideology! Stay far away!
I used to read newspapers, and this time has now gone. I never read The Guardian in paper copy, but I found my way onto it online by being linked onto a couple of articles. They were quite original, and between times I've started to read certain pages regularly.
It's definitely a paper with political leanings, but is not particularly politically aggressive. It allows people to make up their own minds. However, it is for that very reason an annoying site. The reporting is far too politically correct, uncommitted, unresearched and unrepresentative. There are huge areas which seem to go under the radar, such as the environment, or business, or social issues or anything technical. Then you go onto a comments page, which is often the first page I open, and if you trawl through, you'll find some quite smart people, who maybe should be doing the reporting in the first place.
I have to back up my reading from more heavyweight journals. The Guardian is very lightweight, but it is a "news" website, and I haven't yet found a better alternative.
Fairytales from the leftist movement. I get from facts elsewhere, not The Guardian. For more fake news, pay their subscription fee.
The Guardian is insanely biased on the far left of the spectrum. It also has a very low factual reporting, despite what the fake fact checkers might say (which are dishonest, and no one fact checks the fact checkers). Regardless of what the Guardian might try to tell you, Carbon dioxide cannot warm the earth, Greta Thunberg is not a genius (she's actually quite $#*!ed), and the Coronavirus pandemic will not last forever and ever (even though the democrats want you to think that). And eternal lockdown is not ok, no matter how much the guardian says that it is or their claim that, "The science is settled, so you should trust it." Science is NEVER SETTLED!
The Guardian has a rating of 1.4 stars from 29 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. The Guardian ranks 210th among International News sites.
