I'm astounded that there are so many negative reviews and if I had seen them before I ordered from the company I would never have ordered. I ordered 5 Joules tops at a bargain price of £13 each (Joules prices were between £19.95 and £29.95). They arrived within 5 days, beautifully packed with tissue inside and they fit perfectly. I'm thrilled with them. I had entered a code to get an extra 10% off but it didn't go through so I emailed the company and told them and had a reply the following day with an apology and a refund of 10%. I can't fault the company, the customer service or the garments.
Although the products were great and delivery was speedy, my experience when returning an unwanted item. I'd obtained proof of return; and received an email from The Hut to confirm that my item had been returned to them however they still refused to refund my item. The company lied stating I 'didn't follow the correct return procedure' although I'd used the reeuen label generated through the site. After filing a dispute, months of going back and forth, numerous phone calls and emails not responded to; the dispute was decided in my favour. I'm actually so grateful I'd paid using Klarna as I would've been hundreds of pounds out of pocket. I won't be ordering from this site again due to this headache.
The mattress lifter is a joke you can order from Amazon for 22.00 and get two. One from this company was 52.00 complete scam rip-off do not use them. I returned the product and never got a credit on my visa. Complete scam don't order anything from them

Ordered a watch - it was damaged when it arrived. I immediately returned it but after a month was still waiting on my money. After numerous phone calls and emails they eventually gave me the money back. I shop online for many items and have never encountered as many problems as what I have with the hut. Never ever again will I use them - wish I had found this page & reviews before I purchased from them.
Rubbish customer service and delivery. My item was not delivered and I'm still trying to obtain a refund. No sign of it and it takes them days to respond to any issues. They keep on saying to log in and respond to messages which I do and NOTHING gets sorted. The last thing they will do is giving your money back. SCAM. Won't be using this website EVER again.
All enquiries and questions submitted are met with automated generic replies generally to the effect of 'sorry we can't help you'. The websites help faq appears to be a dead link and the tool for automating order cancellations simply generates an error saying it cannot find your order. Purchases made here are a gamble, maybe you 'win' and your transaction is smooth, or maybe you lose your money to the house.
Terrible website. I made an immediate payment which they quickly took. So much for their terms and conditions as they cancelled it 24 hours later. They say it will take 3 to 5 days to credit my account back with the money they took. Even though they could as easily m, ake an immediate payment.
Its a scam website as far as I am concerned. They take your money but wont send you what you have ordered.
We spent a $150.00 on Dvds. We were unable to play them due to region code.
They know this and are getting away with it! They need to shut them down!

I purchased an item for next day delivery. Two weeks later it still hasn't arrived. They refunded the delivery fee but keep stalling on refunding. I have at least ten messages stating they would refund me, however when I query where it is they give me a different date and ask me to wait another 3-5 days. It's clear they will not refund and I can't say this enough DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. You cannot speak to them. They don't have a connecting phone or live chat- it's messaging service where they don't respond properly. So disgusted.

They are scammers! I've made an order and they've lost it. I didn't receive my parcel after 4 weeks and I wrote more than 4 emails asking them to give me back my money. No action. No reaction. Customer service doesn't care. I paid 135 pounds for nothing. No money, no boots, no answers.

I would give a minus rating if there is one. The goods I purchased were seriously damaged on delivery and they refused to offer free return as promised on their website. And it was so difficult to get through to the customer service because there is no direct line at all. You are only allowed to send online message. The customer service team is ignorant. The only thing they did was just repeating they cannot offer free return on damaged goods, which is totally contrary to what they promise on the website regarding the damaged goods.
If you are lucky enough with no issues with your purchase, you may want to try. BUT if there is any issue, The Hut will not take any responsibilities at all.

Placed order Dec 8, cancelled order Dec 10, wrote 12 emails requesting for my refund, it's now Jan 18,2019. They keep saying that the merchandise is on it's way back to their warehouse...
I stopped writing to them because I keep getting the same response.

I did not receive an order number following a fault during the ordering process. However the Hut happily took my money but refused to deliver my order. When I asked them to help they said they could not without an order number and would not check the order because of data protection laws. They then ignored all other emails explaining the situation. Do not order from this company-appalling customer service.
I bought a pair of shoes in Black Friday deal, this was on Monday 27/11/17, they charged my card, says usually dispatched within 24 hours and email would be sent to confirm. Not a peep by Thursday so sent message(s), no reply, done online chat to get some excuse about the warehouse system being down or some drivel, was then contacted to say order was stopped but would be chased up and sent out. As if today, still sating processing, tried to cancel to be told by email i cannot. If items not received soon, i will be taking further action to recover my money. They had the cheek to offer me £10 credit, not sure why as i will never, ever use this site again. Despicable, no wonder there are so many bad reviews.
It's a joke of a company! Stay away! Australian customers beware! Even if the website says you'll be charged in AUD, you'll still pay in USD. I have contacted support about the issue many times and instead of assisting they keep closing my ticket.

I've had the worst experience ever buying from the hut. I bought an iPad 2 and when the order was not dispatched on date, I start process of enquiry. Got sent from pillar to post with absolute nonsense about them having no idea when they would be getting in stock. It's December 2016, before xmas... they don't know for 10 days when they getting stock! Reficulous, do they think we are idiots!? I have wasted 10 days being messed around with the only option being given by them as to cancel now! This was a birthday present which is now well overdue. Please please don't buy from this scandalous outfit who have atrocious customer service and take customers for fools with the nonsense that is produced. Terrible experience
I upgraded and paid for next day delivery on an order as the hoodie was meant for a present THIS EVENING!
I then waited in all day and it never arrived whilst the despite receiving an email last night from The Hut which stated they would be delivered today.
I contacted them via the live chat to which the agent told me she will speak to the courier tomorrow and see if they can advise about what has happened and that there is nothing more they can do except apologise. I am £50 down, no order, no present to give out the only compensation I get is a sorry. Not even a refund on my postage.
This is not a great example to set to a new customer.

I ordered a giant Toblerone online and when the receipt was sent via email it contained the wrong delivery address. I immediately contacted them by email as their offices were closed and the next morning I got an email saying it was too late to modify the address and there would be no refund.!
The address did not make any sense and the item is undeliverable - and I'm sure would be returned to the sender - so it is appalling that their so called "customer service" would not even care about assisting me. I have contacted my credit card company and lodged a complaint. They are going to put a hold on the charges while they do an investigation.!

Do not order from this company. Terrible experience with them. I did not receive my package and had to cancel my purchase with my credit card in dispute. Having ordered from this company with it having a great price and sent out the supposed next day, their delivery tracking and customer service was terrible in tracking down a package that should of been sent out in time and received in time for Christmas. I contacted them many times via email and live chat, each time they told me I would have to wait another 7 days to find my package that should of been delivered on time. It ruined my Christmas a little in trying to get this resolved by this careless company. A simple check by the customer personal to find my package and get back to me via email would have sufficed. They can track their own package now. Do yourself the favor and save yourself a headache and order from some other company.
Ordered something several weeks ago. It was "In stock". After 1 week they still didn't ship it, but instead changed it from "In stock" to "Usually dispatched within a month". Created a message and the customer "service" had several weeks to answer now. They still didn't reply.
So short: They happily take your money. But don't expect anything in return.

I order on this site New Year's gift for my brother. The order was made on December 17. I was chosen free delivery type. As a result, the company sent me my parcel via EMS, which took more than a month (my brother did not get a gift for the new year) plus the £ 50 I paid taxes. Here's what they answered me:

These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot advise what the cost may be (customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country).
Unfortunately we are unable to cover the costs of these duties and you would be expected to pay this when receiving your order.
I think this is a fraudulent company. I placed an order 4 weeks ago, have not received my order and everytime I go to Royalmail tracking it says in transit. Royal Mail would not take 2 weeks to track a package and based on reviews here they do this to many people. Do not use their service!
We have been trying to return an item we cannot use because the plug is Australian (they are an australian website) and we are in USA. No listing of this issue on their site or product or during purchase. SEVERAL emails and days later they keep giving me the runaround! We put their return information on the package as they asked and at the post office we were told to pay $78 for customs plus shipping! We went home and emailed them and several emails later they offer to have it picked up by courier. (huh?) well ok and now 3 times they have asked for my email! And my address! They have all this! Last email now requested the contents of the parcel, size, shape, weight, value and name of product we purchased! We have had it. That reeks of poor business!
Terrible Experience. Have spent two weeks trying to track a package that was ordered one month ago. After constant stalling on the part of The Hut and my many repeated requests for update I was told that the package was delivered. It wasn't. I have contacted my Credit card company. Wish I had read these reviews earlier. Apparently this is a pattern with The Hut. Similar reviews on all other review sites. Avoid.
