I'm astounded that there are so many negative reviews and if I had seen them before I ordered from the company I would never have ordered. I ordered 5 Joules tops at a bargain price of £13 each (Joules prices were between £19.95 and £29.95). They arrived within 5 days, beautifully packed with tissue inside and they fit perfectly. I'm thrilled with them. I had entered a code to get an extra 10% off but it didn't go through so I emailed the company and told them and had a reply the following day with an apology and a refund of 10%. I can't fault the company, the customer service or the garments.
Although the products were great and delivery was speedy, my experience when returning an unwanted item. I'd obtained proof of return; and received an email from The Hut to confirm that my item had been returned to them however they still refused to refund my item. The company lied stating I 'didn't follow the correct return procedure' although I'd used the reeuen label generated through the site. After filing a dispute, months of going back and forth, numerous phone calls and emails not responded to; the dispute was decided in my favour. I'm actually so grateful I'd paid using Klarna as I would've been hundreds of pounds out of pocket. I won't be ordering from this site again due to this headache.
Agree with everything other 1 star reviews have said. Claim item is in stock until after ordered then in dispatch but awaiting stock ( that does not even make sense!). Then refuse refund as item has entered the dospatch process (although still not in stock! And been waiting 1 month). All the while the front end web page continues to list item as in stock to unsuspecting potential customers.

Can't imagine how anyone could have a good experience with them. Ordered one product and it never got to me. Sent a complaint saying that it had not reached me, and after a week or two, they got back to me to say they were going to send out another. That one didn't get to me either, so after more messing around with customer 'service', finally got a refund after a couple of months. Avoid!

This company refused to take responsibilty and refused to help with the return ( for me it would be a cost of $120-190 CAD) The customer service is ridiculously obtuse, painfully slow, and unhelpful. Same happened to me, bought DVD set and it doesn't work in America - you need to be in region 2 for it to play, whatever the hell that means. They won't refund anything and won't let me write a review. Their site is misrepresented with all their helpful questions and returns etc but none of it is true, customer service is awful and I feel scammed.
I too have been taken advantage of by these criminals. I ordered the Barbie DVD set for my 5-year-old grand-daughter. Imagine the disappointment when we found these Region 2 DVD's do not work in the USA.
The.hut.com knowingly shipped these to a USA address. They knew the DVD's would not work and they will not refund the purchase price.
I will try to contact my Credit Card Company and see if they can rescue me from my stupidity.

Customer service was appalling, I had to email over 5 times to only get a response that they would do nothing about my situation and that they basically didn't care. I ordered an Armani suit for $150 in 09. 26. 22. I 10. 2. 22 only received a sweater from the suit. There are no pants. The documents show a jacket and pants everywhere. The jacket is of disgusting quality. The money was not returned and the documents for the return are not given

Placed an order this morning, payment was taken. Received an email some 8 hours later saying they had cancelled the order as they don't deliver to business addresses. Really? This was going to be a gift but I may not be able to get it on time now as you took all day to decide that you wouldn't fulfil the order. So bad.
I have had a terrible time dealing with customer services at this company.I bought a slim fit Polo shirt but they sent a standard fit, I received the order 31st Oct & messaged them stating it is not what i ordered. They advised me that this would be dealt with by the " Brand Specialst" that day.Thirteen messages was sent with the same reply, apologising but it was being dealt with b y the brand specialist!. I wrote emails to the CEO & 2 of the directors with no response. They finally agreed that i could return the item on the 17th November with a promise of a refund. It was back to the apologies & stating that the refund was pending. I realised that i had paid by paypal & reported the Hut too them. I finally got paid on the 5th December. I will never use this company again. If you buy from them & they send the wrong product you are made to feel as though you are lying, buyers beware!

I purchased a DVD set of a TV show series but didn't realize the set "might not be vIewable outside of Europe". I live in the United States. It was an honest mistake which was not discovered until I opened the set and put in the first DVD. I contacted service and was told "sorry... but they couldn't accept the DVD back as it had been opened". I'm out $74.00. Very poor customer service. I will never buy from the Hut again and will stick to Amazon whose return policies are more customer satisfaction oriented.
I tried to cancel an order that hadn't been dispatched yet but I was not able to.
They have a very small window apparently in which you can cancel the orders but it is not displayed or visible anywhere at the time of purchase.
As an online service, you must provide the easiest way to order, cancel or refund/return (free of charge) items. How can it be I can't cancel am order that hasn't left the premises yet?

Can not believe a company in this day and age does not have a telephone number I can contact them on, with a simple enquiry or a complaint.
I ordered two tablets. I placed an order, had to verify my address for some reason before they would even place the order. I sent them the documents and it took them 72 hours before they dispatched the items. I waited and gave them the benefit of the doubt as I work in a Complaints Department. Finally they sent the items and there was only one tablet in the parcel. I confirmed with the delivery agent (Yodel) that was the package and there was no other items.
I am furious as there is no number I can contact them on as they don't have one and I have to wait days before I get a response. Take my advise and go somewhere else. I hope they can sort my issue within the week.
I wish I could say something good but quite frankly I was sold a pair of expensive Bench boxer shorts and they were mis-stitched. Told the company but they said because of the passage of time they weren't bothered to replace or refund them. I know the law states you can't sell faulty goods but they don't care. Cheap and cheerful but what is the point if they sell something that is faulty and not fit for the purpose.
They have the worst customer service ever possible. They takes ages to reply and they don't even try to solve your problem. I was sent an awful smelling perfume which I have been using for ages and I knew that it wasn't right. I texted them, called them, emailed them. They response with 1 email and did not try to solve my problem. Do not order ever from them. I would give a -5 start, if could.

I was so stoked to purchase from this company and ordered several hundred dollars worth of merchandise during their Black Friday sale. After 2 weeks of no word about my order, I searched to find a customer service number or email and found there was none. I tried to communicate via my account and found that I was locked out of my account. With no customer service to turn to... who could I get to reset my account? NO ONE. They just have my money in limbo with no word about my order.
I thought to contact Facebook just to receive robot like responses. I begged to have a HUMAN email me and let me know exactly what was going on and they said they couldn't do that. So ridiculous. I am still out of money and products and its been a month. Total scammers.
Dreadful experience. I returned the item via Inpost lockers who confirmed they have lost the item and notified the hut to start the claims process. I have messaged repeatedly and I'm done instances it takes then 2 weeks to reply. I've forwarded the emails, completed declarations and the latest reply after 2 months states they have not received the return, which was the start of the whole trail. Impossible to deal with and there is no refund on the horizon…. £132 wasted!

Bought a dryer from The Hut and shipped to me in the US and product can only be used in UK? You would think as a courtesy they would have made me aware that this dryer did not have dual voltage options. Why would I buy something I could not use?

Terrible company to deal with, bought some items which went missing with yodel, tried to get intouch with them but they have no phone number, you can send a message to the customer services which takes 72 hours each time for them to reply to, eventually had to print a form off, sign it, scan it, upload it, then send it back to them to get a refund. Am still waiting a month later and now instead to get it back as none delivery of products from the bank. Avoid this company at all costs
