I am obsessed with The Last Hunt. I have placed at least 23 orders according to my order history and will no doubt place many more. A lot of the complaints I see are pertain to sizing, which if you read the small print you will know they do not accept returns due to size or fit only for misrepresented or defective items. I keep a list of things I like in the stores and write down what size I fit so when they are out of season I can scoop them up. It helps to use other sites reviews like REI or Zappos to figure out sizing. I have saved so much money buying from The Last Hunt, especially when they have sales and the shipping is usually super fast, maybe a bit slower during big sales. I cannot recommend this site enough.
Can't believe in 2024 there are still frauds like this in Canada. They use fine print to reject all exchange/ refunds. I couldn't find any where to review their company couple of month ago. Cuz they got no listing on any mainstream websites. Only a bunch of like made up Reddit threads. They sent me a jacket that does not match description and is wrong in size. Told me to get lost because I didn't read their fine print. Can't believe they are allowed to operate, probably run by offshore scammers.
If you already know the product: all good. If you're relying on their pictures / descriptions: buyer beware.
I got the Sense dress from Peak Performance, which was pictured as curved, but came in as a ruler-straight long boxy t-shirt, with a major side slit that was not visible nor described. Colours can be quite off, which is par for the course with online shopping, but still: got an orange t-shirt when I thought it would be pink.
Very fast delivery and quick customer service reply. Will shop there again, especially for gear.

I saw a lot of negative reviews for this site and was a bit skeptical about ordering from it. However, I went for it anyways based on another 5 star reviews - know your size in things and if in question, try it on in another store for fit as their return policy is final sale. I bought a pair of limited issued Vans High Tops in my size and they showed up very quickly and were as exactly as described.

I gave it five stars so this Importent comment would be seen. I lost over $400 on my purchases with these con artists. Bought shoes that were improperly sized. I am a size 11, I ordered size. 12 because of the comments from other buyers that they experienced sizes were incorrect and to size up. And they were still too small. In addition there is no option to return them and no option for a trade in. My shoes fit but my wife's did not but my shoes after 20 minutes gave me huge blisters on my heels even though these shoes were classified as blister proof and these people could not care less. This is the worst online experience I have had to date. I hike with over 30 professional hikers every week and they will all know how terrible my experience has been. Consumers Beware!

I had an item missing in my order. I emailed customer service as they have no phone contact to call. No one got back to me on two attempts. Once they have your money they don't care about what happens after,.
Try the item on at a store that carries it and then order from last hunt and save $$. They warn you MULTIPLE times that it's last sale, so if you don't know that. It's on you. I'm 100% satisfied with my Fjall Raven coat that was 399+ at mec and I got for 250. Awesome site and quick delivery.

Purchased items that in the reviews stated fit small so I bought a size up. This still wasn't large enough and the sizing is not even close to other manufacturers. With that said I just wanted to exchange for a larger size. The Last Hunt basically said 'too bad so sad'. Nothing we can do for you. Brutal customer service. I understand no returns as a policy but at least give the customer an exchange. Last Hunt, my Last Purchase! Good customers only stay for good retailers.
The Last Hunt is clear and specific on their website that all sales are final, which is fair considering the deep discounts the site offers. You need to know your size and be willing to accept the terms as specified. If you order what you believe to be your size and it doesn't fit, you bite the bullet and gift it. But what if Last Hunt sends the customer the wrong size? They don't care. You're still stuck with the product even though they have failed you as a customer. Terrible business to deal with and will avoid doing so in the future, no matter the good quality and discounts offered.
The Last Hunt is so pathetic there is no way you telephone them to return their mistakes. Sad indeed.

It is a no return policy site and I understood that when i ordered. Issue is that the company has inaccurate descriptions on the website and they refuse to take any responsibility for that. They hide behind their vendors and their response to me was that the description is the one the manufacturer provided. So i was expecting snow pants and i got rain pants instead. They are untrustworthy and unethical. Do not buy from this company.
I purchased a Spyder mens winter coat 2 weeks ago. They sent me a toddlers snowsuit instead. Since then I have sent 4 emails with no reply, return or refund. I was a loyal last hunt customer as I have purchased 4 coats in the past from them but will never shop here again. The parent company is Altitude Sports but they will not take a call from a client to rectify their careless mistake.

This is the WORST COMPANY. Do not be tricked by the cheap prices of brand name products - the descriptions are not accurate, and when you receive a product you ordered that's not what you purchased, they do not offer an exchange or refund. It's ridiculous. I ordered a size 6K bog boots for two two-year-olds and it stated the size was 5.7 inches. When I recieved them, they were MASSIVE. I mean, I wear a size 9 in woman's and I can put these on my feet. I sent a pic of the sizing chart attached to the shoes and a picture of the shoes measured 10.5 inches to customer service and they didn't agree with the difference?! This is insane. Now I'm stuck with two pairs of bogs boots that don't fit the children they were bought for. Disgusting customer service. Will never buy from this cheap company ever again. Buyer beware!
Because costumer service is a real nightmare. Chose and paid for same day delivery on a monday mourning. Didnt received the package when I left for trip on the wednesday PM. tried to get in touch on tuesday with no success. Repeated mistake in 2 orders: I ordered shoes, they sent me the wrong size, I had to send them a series of messages with pictures of the shoes. I was sent a return label and had to go to the post office to return them.
I ordered again, the same product, they sent me back the wrong size. Again.

If you see a deal on The Last Hunt, run in the other direction. The only thing their customer service is good at is to tell you they won't help you. If it doesn't fit, you are stuck with it. Their size chart pointed me to a size and I was pretty confident about it. The garment is way too big. They'll tell you it is not their fault nor their responsibility. I am out $300.
I have had two bad experiences with The Last Hunt and the listed sizes. This is important because of their 'no returns' policy. The first was with a pair of shoes where the size listed was 7-7 ½. I am a size 7 and was hopeful with fingers crossed. The shoes arrived and they are closer to a size 8.
The second bad experience was with a Micheal Phelps Wetsuit. All I could do when I opened the box was laugh. I had read reviews that had recommended sizing up because the size chart is skewed for the smaller. Normally I am a Women's Medium, so I sized up to a Women's Large. When I held the suit up it was more likely going to fit a 14 year old child... No where near long enough in the torso and will only stretch enough to cover a lanky pre-teen.
I would only recommend shopping with The Last Hunt if you know the product lines really well, or are able to try them on in a local store to determine your sizing with that company.

They will take your money - Rob you - and will not respond when you tell them they sent you ALL the wrong items. Please do not order from this company. They are a fraud

I ordered a pair of shoes, they sent me the wrong style, when I complained the offered a refund, but when I was transferred the money they did not refund their shipping fees. So keep in mind if you order a product you could possibly not get the product you ordered, and have to either accept that or pay a fee for no product at all. Had they warned there was no full refund I probably would have just kept the shoes so I didn't pay for nothing but a bad experience.

I purchased a Helly Hanson jacket for my husband in XL which is the size I always purchase for him... and yes I have purchased Helly Hanson before I used to own a ski shop and carried their line. This coat fits more like an XXXL and they refuse to exchange it. I am beyond furious! I am a business owner and understand there are two sides to a story but this is simply not standing behind their products and service. Awful customer service.

I have bought several times from them. I do have to say they deliver fast. But they make mistakes with the sizes and their customer service needs major improvement. I have sent several emails and they do not respond. Their products are good and their prices are good.

I ordered two pairs of pants from this company. One came in correct size, the other 4 sizes to big. The company refused responsibility and refused return or refund, claiming that I ordered them... one correct size the other 4 size larger. I do not know what happened, is it a computer error or simple attempt to unload their stock by scamming clients. Do not buy there. You do not know what you will get and they will not accept your return.
Ordered next day delivery never received merchandise. (was for my son's first ski outing) emailed, callled and got an answering machine ( really?) status of order always at ready for pick up and even boxknight carrier wont respond. I have been ordering online for years and never encountered such crappy service. These guys dont deserve to be out there. I succesfully contested the charge with my cc after one week of radio silence. Good riddance.
Ordered a jacket close to 2 weeks ago, stated they reserve 24hrs to prepare for shipping then a confirmation email would be sent. Contacted them 48hrs later was told it hasn't left warehouse because they are relocating their warehouse and they were sorry for the delay. Well, 240hrs later and still no word on my product. Oh, but they have my money.
