I was with a different brokerage for 10 plus years. They quoted me a policy that would cost over $200 a month and claimed that was the only offer they had. I left them and Zebra was the first company I called. Gabriel was absolutely wonderful with professionalism, expertise, and all around super helpful. I interacted with a couple of other team members and they were also just as helpful and warm/friendly. Lots of appreciation for the team and company.
After years of paying high premiums Chris took the time to explain to us exactly what I was paying for and worked with me to find something that was above the California legal requirements- but was nearly half of what I was paying annually!. He was even able to get us extended road side service and still saved us $2,000 a year!
The process is quick enough however at the end it gives you a list of insurance companies with no quote just links to click on to get a quote from them, basically starting the entire process over. You can just do the same on your own. No need for this service.
Saw the TV ads for thezebra.com service, and thought I'd use it to compare insurance rates. A waste of time! It asks you to enter everything (intelligent websites automatically get details such as the year the house is built once you enter the address) and in the end, it gives you INCORRECT information. The quotes are WAY higher than if you get the quote DIRECTLY from the insurance company that thezebra.com results show. Moreover, thezebra.com provides only a couple of quotes. Once you click on the links of the insurance companies listed in the results, you must start entering the info from the very beginning. The user interface is also glitchy, and if you try to go back to the previous entry, or edit the info, it doesn't work. The email thezebra.com sends is equally useless and a waste of resources (time, network bandwidth, etc) as illustrated by the attached screenshot.
I was trying to rewrite my auto insurance policy with the same company I was with. Because I insurance had just elasped that same day at 12, to rewrite me they wanted me to pay my policy in full. I went online thru zebra.com. The agent was very helpful and kind. He stayed on the phone on hold with me until an agent was available. Finally my process begin. I manage to bundle auto n renters insurance cheaper then what I was paying for only auto with other companies. Everyone I talked to at the zebra was very knowledgeable of their products n made buying insurance so easy. I have never felt so good and comfortable about purchasing auto insurance. I will shop with the zebra in the near future.

Im 50 years old I paid cash $1,100 for my car 2 years ago and was paying $117 a month for a car that was paid in cash that I only drove 2 miles back and forth to work everyday with the zebra it knocked me down $55 dollars! I went from paying 120 a month to $61 a month so excited no more paying High car insurance paying more than my car is worth! And at my age really!
Just a scam to get your information. I provided them with all of my information and I got one quote and links to five or six other insurance companies that wanted me to fill in all of my information again. Wish I had read the reviews first, believe all the one-star reviews that you read about this place.
They ask all information but that is no problem, once you click results 5 insurance companies pop up. Once you click on them they just restart you from the beginning, no quote just answering the same questions. Some ins companies didn't have the capability to give quotes to bundle after I clicked on them?!

Some of the bigger name companies prefer for you to buy the policy on their respective website, so you will be re-directed to their site. We understand how frustrating it can be to have to put all of your information in again, and it is an inefficiency that we are currently working on with our partners. The gentleman Abe was super helpful and answered ALL my questions. He must have spent 45+ mins helping me. Lookin up quotes, adjusting the, re-doing them, adding coverage, taking off what I didnt need, adding drivers,, taking them off again, putting things back on... I know I was pain in the you know what but he stayed calm and helpful the entire time. Because of him, I got an awesome rate and what is known as "full coverage" that meets our needs. I am paying LESS (about $50 less) for full coverage AND 2 drivers then I was paying for one driver and only having state min coverage. Oh did I mention with The Zebra I also get my deductible back if I ever have to file a claim! Thanks Abe! Super happy. Keep up the awesome work and I hope you treat others the same way. It was the easiest process and the people were all so helpful, curious and truthful. They gave me an honest quote and did not change up prices at the end. I truely would highly recommend them and only them. They were amazing.
Answer: The BBB does not consider them to be in accredited company they have received 11 complaints to the Better Business Bureau just in the last 12 months. Many complaints were involved in customer service was terrible cannot recommend them here and if zebra is then obviously they probably get paid every time someone signs up so they just do it and assured him that I got a good deal it's despicable
