My first order was in 2022, when I got a Korg L380U piano. My initial hesitation and concerns fully fade away when this large and heavy instrument was delivered to Armenia in perfect condition. In 2024, I made two other orders including 2 guitars, 2 modeling amps and accessories, all in good packaging and in the quality as advertized. I'm blowed away by the excellence of my HB guitars - TE-62DB and SC 550ii! The only issue I had was a factory defect with the PG Spark Go amp in my last order. It failed to shift stereo/mono in the app and the phone socket only had mono output. Thomann's customer support helped me greately with the warranty related investigation process. As the return shipment from Armenia would be quite costly, they just offered me to keep the defective and shipped another one, new and fully functional. What a great example of an awsome customer care and support!
Caveat Emptor UK buyers beware. Although prices seem good value, when there is an issue and something has to be returned then it can turn into a nightmare. I bought a Marshall JVM combo through Thomann and it developed a fault on the board - confirmed by an amp tech here in the UK. It took nearly 3 months to get Thomann to accept a return and when they arranged a courier to collect it they had to ask me after if it had actually been collected. I supplied them with a photograph of the courier scanning the return label. There didn't seem to be any integrated information with the courier. They then said it could take up to 20 working days (a month) for it to arrive at their warehouse. I waited the 20 working days without any update only to be told after that in fact it had been lost in transit somewhere and they didn't know where it was. They would raise an investigation with the courier company and then revert back to me with a resolution. I'm still waiting for that resolution which they have already said won't involve a replacement. So in summary, they don't know where my Marshall is, they won't replace it, they have the money and I've been without an amp since February. Buyers beware.
Just the worse customer service experience in my life. My order is in... Spain from Dec. 17 and I'm in Switzerland. Nobody at Thomann can tell me something about it and the do NOTHING to solve the problem. Juste..."wait please"
They sold me a guitar that was 2 years old from build date. The neck started to crack top joint they more or less called me a liar. They said it must have been involved in a accident. L know it has not. It has never left the same room since the day it came out of the box. If it had been mistreated it would have impact Mark's on the guitar but not a mark on it. The 3 year warranty is none existant. Go elsewhere.

I returned an item, but haven't got the refund, I think they're gonna steal money, they are thief.

I ordered some B-stock items that were available at the time. Placed the order and paid. 5 days later they told me that the items were not anymore available? Cusromer service replied to late do my emails.

I was very, very impressed with your service. The items were very well packaged and the communication with your company every step of the way was first class. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending your company to others. I might add I did call into Dawson's of Chester to see their stock and prices. I was more than amazed to find the guitar alone was more than £50 sterling more expensive - and there was no movement on that for a cash sale. To think I got such a good deal including superb delivery all the way from Germany in time for Christmas from you is exemplary. The only thing I can add is that you deserve the business and I wish you a very successful 2017.

Classical guitar Amalio Burguet 2M, noticed the broken finish on the back that revealed a very bad glueing of the bottom sides made by the producer, that caused the finish to crack. Guitar is within legal warranty of 2 years, but contact with customer service has been less than useless: one month of excuses and trying to sell me a paid reparation of the guitar, which i refused. They invented pretty any excuse to avoid warranty application, from blaming humidity first, then dryness, which doesn't make any sense where I do live and keep my guitars.
Truth is that problem was cause by bad construction of the guitar itself, more precisely the problem was in the bottom bracing, as you can see in the photo.
No more buying from them, that's for sure.
And please, Thomann staff, no use to answer this, I'm no more a "dear" customer, we could very well say that you cost me dear, as I don't print money and have had no real deal in buying a faulty guitar from you.

I have bought everything from plectrums to a Gibson Les Paul from Thomann. I have always had great service and great prices, the slight trade off is the longer delivery time to the UK. But that just makes the anticipation all the more sweet.
Quick delivery, great Mega Store, everything great! I am oredering from Thoman.De for a 6-7 years and always it was no problem of any kind. In past 6-7 years i get many gift coupons from them... sweet!
I received my guitar a few days ago, very well packaged in 2boes with loads of cushioning. I have given the guitar a CST 24 T Delux in Paradise Flame, a very good try out, I am extremely happy with this guitar, I have played other guitars at £1500 plus that have not matched the tones or playability of this instrument. I cannot fault it, well the G string needed a very slight adjustment of intonation but could have gotten by without it. I will certainly buy another Harley Benton guitar and have no problem advising anyone to purchase one. I ordered late on a Friday night did not expect it to be dispatched till Monday, which it was received the guitar on Wed. Germany to Edinburgh Scotland in 3 days great stuff. I bought thomann DP26 keyboard £222.00. Had to pay UPS an extra £71.58 vat and delivery charge. It arrived damaged. Emailed Thomann. They aren't interested. Just told me that they are passing my case onto UPS. I paid both Thomann and UPS with PayPal so I hope it will get sorted. I'm in limbo here as I need a keyboard. I can't afford another one untill I get my money back and I have no idea when I will. I will never use Thomann again and would advise UK buyers not too. Especially if they use UPS.

Don't buy if in the UK. THOMANN don't tell you about the import tax.

I ordered a new Piano, after more that 15 days waiting for it, I discovered that they can't help me to carry it to my house.
Of course I returned it, after more that a week they don't give me my money back, They have ruined my Christmas.

Ordered two ocarina's. One is fine, the other one misses the manual. Mailed them three times. Started to call, from the netherlands to germany. After about 15 minutes on hold the line goes dead. And the number in the mail was wrong. Got the right one. Again the line drops dead after 15 minutes on hold. Second time I got a human. She would email me an answer within two days. Another week went by. No answer. After in total a month and two more phone calls I called to send the ocarina back. About three weeks ago I got an email that they received it. It's now at least two months after the delivery of the second ocarina and I'm stil waiting for my 45,- And I just got the bill from the telephone. It was about the same amount that I've infested in the calls to germany.
Even though the first ocarina came completely and without trouble.
I WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN!
I guess I will never get my money either.

If you know for sure there is nothing that can go wrong, you could risk it, but I strongly DISRECOMMEND IT!!!
I bought a Protec 316 CT case for French horn from the site Thomann.de. The product is excellent and sent from Germany to France it was received within the specified period and very well wrapped The site seems to be excellent.

Bought a faulty b7k ultra, it came with a noise that turned the sound horrible. Recorded some videos reproducing the fault. Now they tell me the pedal is okay and refuse to give repair, refund or replace it. Horrible experience for me. I've been a costumer for years now... I even tested other b7k and not long ago I owned the b7k and the vintage. They tell me i don't like the sound of the pedal... I love darkglass pedals, just not the faulty ones. To resume it, I've spent 422 on a piece of junk and they refuse to do anything about it and will keep my money. I fell robbed! Well done Thomann...

I placed an online order with payment process through paypal.
I got order confirmation email and after that there was no correspondence.
I had to follow up with their department after 1 week and i was told they did not ship my order because they were waiting for my tel number.
My point is that i had to follow up to be told this. Only after that i got to know why my shipment had not been dispatched.
I was also told they sent me an email asking for my # which is not true as i didcheck all my emails and my spam folders etc, they were lying, there was no email sent to me.
This will be my first and last dealing with Thomann. Very unprofessional. I will probably not deal with them again. Very laid back company to deal with.

The costumer service is quite helpful and competent for the most part.
Delivery is fast but expensive.
They have fixed delivery fee that, to my Country, Portugal is quite expensive 20euros no matter if the article in question is just 1euro.
Free shipping is only for orders over 200euros.

I placed an order, but few days before payment went through i notice the address was wrong. Straigh away i send email that address is wrong before payment went though + change address to correct one on their webside + next day contact support that address was wrong. They told me it is too late ( which was not to late as my parcel was not even send yet) = nobody looked at my email... They told me to contact delivery company... They send, parcel from Germany to Ireland on the wrong address. Good selection of products but poor customer service. Good people from Irish Anpost helped me to direct my parcel, everything is easy if you're willing to help.
