Disappointing Experience with TiCombo – Zero Accountability

I recently purchased two tickets for the Eminem Concert at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (After Race Concert) through TiCombo. Nowhere on the marketplace was it mentioned that access to the concert area required a wristband distributed on a "First Come, First Serve" basis, with a limited number available. I assumed this meant closer access to the stage, not that entry to the concert area itself would be restricted.

I received my QR code tickets through the iOS app and drove 1 hour and 15 minutes from Dubai to Abu Dhabi on the day of the event. After parking at Yas Mall and taking the bus to the concert gate, I arrived at 5:30 PM—only to discover that all wristbands were gone. A large crowd of unhappy people, including myself, was blocked from entering the stage area. After two hours of waiting, I left the venue disappointed and frustrated, missing the concert altogether.

Here's where things get worse:

I spent 3,571 AED for these tickets, and no one took accountability for the failure:

The event organizer, who charged 600 AED for the tickets, refused any refund.
The seller on the marketplace kept their 2,000 AED premium.
TiCombo, who charged 824.20 AED in marketplace fees, profited while providing no meaningful resolution or support.
Despite wasting 5 days in back-and-forth conversations with TiCombo, their final response was a generic dismissal, stating they only facilitate ticket purchases and can't be held responsible for the event organizer's shortcomings. In the end, everyone involved profited—except me, the customer.

Good for booking event tickets. I had booked tickets for FIFA and received the tickets immediately. Best service.
