I've got a pair of Timberland Boots (Grey with orange trim n inside) last winter. Trust me with the latest polar vortex and snow, these puppies not only are comfortable, but they keep my feet warm and dry on long hikes. Sure, they may cost a lil more but its worth it. Keep on hiking!
I bought a pair of Timberland Boots and on my first hike the soles came off of both boots! Customer service was very uncooperative and would not repair or replace the boots, nor would they refund the money I spent on the extremely poor quality boots.
I will never waste money on another pair of timberlands. I had to cut off my pair of timberland pro composite toe because they wouldn't come off my feet
Bought a pair of Timberland boots... opened them 12 months later... only to discover a huge defect. Timberland would not warrant boots against defects... after countless times with horrible customer service they still refused to replace my boots! WTF is a lifetime warranty against defects... oh they moved to China so now its only 12 months... MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, DONT BUYBOOTS FROM TIMBERLAND!
I ordered from Timberland website and got shoes then doesn't fit. Timberland shoes size not the same other product and quality is so different btw website.
Anyway, I return on 6/23 via USPS and still get refund till today 7/16.

Great! I WILL NOT SHOPPING EVER AGAIN TIMBERLAND.
Bought these at famous footwear, one month later they are broken and they won't guarantee a return or exchange!
Comfortable shoes but didn't hold up on hikes... bottoms are glued on and fell apart after a few good hikes. Do not recommend the brand.
Don't need to say anything. Take a look at my Timberlands. I have never had shoes break down like this. Called Timberland and no reply. I
Had two pairs of there pretend boots and the soles detached from the uppers the moment they saw a forest. Made for softy city boys only.
I have had 3 pairs of 6" work boots now. Each pair drops in quality. The latest pair are very obviously low quality. I will never buy these again.

Last November, I placed an order with Timberland for10 pairs of shoes, which were on sale. The order total was about 1200 GBP. I intended to keep several pairs and then send the rest back, depending on fit etc.
This order was then broken up into several shipments, only one of which I received. This shipment contained one pair of shoes. Two others were returned to Timberland after unsuccessful delivery attempts and I was refunded about 200 Pounds.
However, the remaining 7 pairs were never delivered to me, and I never received a refund, either. I only realized this after a few months when checking my credit card statements.
I then contacted Timberland and was asked to fill out a form stating that I had not received the items. I filled it out and sent it back as quickly as possible and was then reassured that I'd get a refund. It has been 2 months since then, and after several more emails and phone calls, I still have received nothing.
Every time I call, I am assured that my case has been escalated to management and I should get my refund within a few days and also receive a call back the same day, none of which has EVER happened.
Not only is this blatant theft, but I've also experienced some of the poorest customer support I've ever seen. I think it's extremely rude to repeatedly promise a customer updates and progress, when none of that is every forthcoming.
As of right now, Timberland still owes me about 900 GBP, which is not a trivial amount of money by any means. I'm posting these reviews in the hope that it helps others avoid the same problems.
I'd give 0 Stars if I could.
Update: As of right now, they claim that a refund has finally been issued and should appear back on my credit card within 10 working days. I will update this space.

The inside material ripped apart after two weeks, the inside soles dyed my socks yellow. Tried to return twice, they said it's my fault.

The 3rd time these were worn they pulled apart. Then I paid to send to the company and they returned not repaired or replaced.
99% of these reviews are people complaining about ridiculous circumstances no company should be entitled to follow. Timberland is just fine.
I bought a package, when I checked that no one in my family received it, I informed them and they said that I had to be responsible for it.
I ordered boots/shoes from Timberline online and I am a person that follows my order until I receive it. I did receive a e-mail that my order had been shipped, however, the tracking that they sent me did not have any information, it was showing like they were waiting to be picked up by Fed-ex I guess, but it did give me a estimated delivery date which was in two days. Well I never received my order and I started to call Timberline customer service to see if someone could help me with the status. Well in about two weeks not two days, this is what I received (see the attached pictures). It came in a package bag that I opened, PLEASE NOTE, the box does not have a top, the shoes had been worn, the shoes were laced different and they were torn on the side. Well as you probably can imagine I was livid. I called Timberline right away, told them what I received and told them I had took pictures if they needed them and representative act like he could not understand me. I told him that this should be report and someone fired. I don't know where these shoes/boots had been and who worn them, I immediately put them back in the bag and put them in my garage. Well the story continues with me asking them to have these shoes picked up and please at this time I wanted my money back. The representative told me that I had to return the shoes and once received my money would be refunded. Really, I said are you kidding me, I ask for a manager, who told me that they will schedule a pick up the shoes, but again I ask about my refund, she told me the same thing about the refund, but she also stated that she could send me a replacement. It took me almost a month to get my shoes/boots and she thought I wanted a replacement after this really! Well I never got my refund, I had to go through my bank to dispute this and apparently it worked because my bank credit my money back to my account. It's something with Timberline, if I can't walk in the store and buy them, I won't be purchasing them ever again online. This is the second round with them, there will not be a third. The first time, it was a shipping thing, they said my boots was shipped and delivered and they never was, so Timberline sent them to me again and I got them so I really did not worry about it. This time it was unacceptable and ridiculous. Whoever took my order and worn them must have taken the shipping label home with them, because it was on the outside of the bag, which again scares me. Please just beware, I don't know if Timberline has went down a lot, but for the money you pay this is bad. Something is now right, I wish someone from Timberline Corporate could be made aware of this and all the other reviews I am reading.
I've been buying/wearing timberland boots for over 40 years and I used to appreciate their product(s) -- over the past 5 years though I've had nothing but problems with my timberland boots.
-One pair of timberland boots wore well but the soles kept pulling away and over the past 5 years I've had to glue them at least 4 times; I didn't use these boots for work.
-I also had a pair, that looks like the current 6-inch premium timberland boots, that I had to glue the soles twice over the past 3 years. Then the mid soles started
Crumbling apart so I couldn't glue them anymore, the soles on these boots only had about half wear, and I had to throw them away.
-I also have a pair of timberland pro sport series boots that have quite high uppers (probably around 10") and I have only worn these timberland boots a few times to go hiking in the winter. The leather on these timberland boots is in excellent condition (the leather is free of any damage or wear) and the soles hardly have any wear on them. A couple of years ago I went to wear them and found that the mid soles were disintegrating and crumbling apart. I knew that these boots were past the one year warranty but I mailed them to timberland hoping that they would recognize that these boots were hardly worn, that timberland used a defective material(s), and that timberland would take care of a long term customer and repair/replace them. Timberland returned the boots to me stating that they were out of the one year warranty period.
Through the years I've probably purchased ten pair of Timberland boots and had been pleased with them. But these last three pair of boots have been horrible. Did timberland use material in the midsoles trying to be green' that would decompose when thrown out but are decomposing before then? Did timberland just screw up in choosing the material of the mid soles? Did timberland just try to save money by using cheap material(s) in the midsoles? When I spend $100 to $300 on a pair of boots I expect them to last, I might wear them out which is fine, but I don't expect hardly used boots to just start falling apart!
Timberland won't take care of thier atrocious material blunder and forces their customer(s) to bear the cost of their mistake. From reading online there are many other people having the same problems, and other problems, with their timberland boots. With
Timberland not standing' by their products/customers I think that timberland will lose many customers and revenue... timberland has definitely lost me as a customer for any of their products!
