I've got a pair of Timberland Boots (Grey with orange trim n inside) last winter. Trust me with the latest polar vortex and snow, these puppies not only are comfortable, but they keep my feet warm and dry on long hikes. Sure, they may cost a lil more but its worth it. Keep on hiking!
I bought a pair of Timberland Boots and on my first hike the soles came off of both boots! Customer service was very uncooperative and would not repair or replace the boots, nor would they refund the money I spent on the extremely poor quality boots.

Some people claim out here that their shoes are uncomfortable, they cause corns and other stuff, but I trust the brand because I wear their shoes from the late fall till the early spring.
I buy different models, as I have both classical Timbs for gloomy weather, and some others that are more of sport style.
I ain't care much about what others say, as they perfectly suit my style and don't cause any corns as guys share here. Maybe it's better to choose the right size more thoroughly.
Absolutely terrible customer service at Oxford Westgate. I bought sandals in London and wore them for less than 20 minutes in Oxford. They caused terribly painful blisters on my both feet. I called the store in Oxford, explained the situation in detail and they said they would offer a refund. This afternoon I had a very unpleasant 25 minutes with the manager and assistant. The latter said these were 'just blisters' and they could not violate the company policy of offering no refunds after shoes have been work outdoors, even if they had caused bodily harm. Horrible product and even worse customer service. Trust the poor reviews here here and avoid

They give you a 12 month warranty because that is all they will last. My sole started coming off after 9 months. That was on my first pair but I figured well they were warm and water proof so this year I tried them again. Not even 6 months and they are falling apart. I work for a living and I will never by this crap again. No pictures I through them away. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.
Honestly the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Took my money, 10 days later sent an email saying the order had been cancelled with no explanation. When I contacted them they told me it was either that the product was out of stock or there was a payment issue, but they didn't know why. The website still shows my product in stock and they had my money so neither are correct. A week later and I'm still arguing with customer service who won't send my product and won't send my refund!
I just purchased a pair of timberland Jaynes. I ordered size 8. I have pretty small feet, what they sent me was,I don't know like a 4. Way too small, sent them back, ordered another pair. Timberland just sent me any old pair, ordered nubuck, size 8.5 just to be sure, got gray and brown two tone things, again way too small. I needed workboots, for work! I can't keep sending back all these screw ups. Plus my refund hasn't gone through yet. WTH! I'm going to Carolinas. Timberland sucks.
Bought custom made shoes for the hubby ($150), which I chose everything to be black including the thread. To my surprise the thread on the soles came in white. Emailed customer service team who claimed the factory in the Dominican Republic confirmed that is the only thread they use on custom orders. Why would I order an all black shoe w/white thread? Customer service is a joke, they refuse to honor their mistake and out of a purchase of $150 they're offering a $30 egift card? If I could give it a negative zero star that would be what they deserve.
I wish I could rate ZERO STARS. Garbage company that doesn't stand behind their product. Sent 2 pairs of shoes back that each fell apart in 3-4 months, sent them both back with letter saying they are not at fault. 12 month warranty. Pfft. Don't buy this stuff! Never called or emailed. Just sent back their garbage product that I paid $165 a pair for! You would have better luck with customer service buying shoes for $10 at Walmart!
Photos are of a 4 month old shoe that cost me $165! Both photos same show, and they sent them back saying nothing is wrong with them.
Tried to recently return my pair of black timberlands in which the soles are coming off the boot. The boot and soles are great and I heard they warranty their boots for faulty craftsmanship. Sent only to receive back my same pair a week later and signature was required to receive them. Waste of shipping and waste of a good pair of boots for crappy craftsmanship. I unfortunately own two more pair but will never buy anything again timberland. Thanks timberland you and your employees suck and I hope your business gets what it deserves in the future.
I ordered a pair of boots from timberland, even after looking at all the reviews from people. I've always had good experience buying timberlands, and today, 10 years after ordering my last pair and the quality and packaging is still top notch.
Tip for consumers:
Look for the good sales first.

Horrible experience shopping with Timeberland online. It promised to come 3-4 days and did not show up in a month. They had no clue and did not take any responsibility. Customer service reps can not be any worse.
I ordered the same boot through Amazon, came in two days and boots are fine.
Will never ever buy from them.
Credit card information was stolen days after I purchased items from the Smithfield NC location. The credit card company alerted me and prevented a $560 charge: someone made purchases for Timberland merchandise. After researching further reviews of this store, I contacted the store and the corporate office since, according to other reviews about this store, this is not the first time. Wish I knew earlier.
Buyer beware? Timberland does NOT stand by their products. I bought a pair of shoes and after 1 day of wear the dye ruined a pair of my khakis! Timberland said a refund could not be given because they were used! How do you know they're defective until worn? They want to force me purchase more poorly made merchandise by way of a gift card! Um, NO!
I have never seen worse shoes in the world. I had bought the shoes 2 months ago it broke in 2 months and above all company people also did not help they are saying that they broke because of your wear.
I purchased nubuc splitrock 2 hiking boots 4 months ago and at this point they have degraded to tramp standard. The stitching at the back on BOTH PAIRS tore and the side ankle cushioning began to badly fray.
I contacted Timberland Customer services and they had the audacity to call it wear and tear!
Advertised as premium hiking boots
Degrade that badly in only 4 months!
£130 cost price
Avoid Timberland like the plauge if you want value for money.

Timberland, such a cheap company. I ordered a pair of 150$ boots wore them around the block, returned them for the next size larger only to have the boots I wore around the block returned to me saying they would not take them as a return because they have a no boots worn return policy. On top of that, when I re-entered the timberland website, they are now providing a slightly worn for sale department. What kind of scum does this? Totally a scam. Having said that I do like the product. Moral of the story is that the boots are good, be very wary of trying to return for a different size to these scammers.

I bought these women's hiking boots for work and hiking. They are uncomfortable, had to buy inserts, not warm. And then found out them to not be waterproof during rain. Tried to return them 10mo old, and after much effort Timberland denied my claim. So glad I spent $ 90 on fashion boots to wear in pleasant weather. Do not purchase.
Horrible customer service and horrible quality... the soul is coming unglued on my boots that aren't even 1 year old, I spent almost $300 on them and they emailed me back and told me the soul coming unglued isn't their problem it's mine basically... very unimpressed with timberland!
I purchased my timberland hiking boots in late August 2014. The boots stayed my closet until December when it got colder. I am very dis appointed to say that the soul of my right boots has already pulled apart.
I had to sent a pair of boots back that fell apart. Timberland honored Their warranty but instead of replacing the boot they issued me a gift card. Well fine but the gift card was considerable less then what I paid and did not cover the cost of shipping boots back to them either.
I used the gift card on timberland.com bought another pair of boots also having to spend more money out of pocket to get a boot that should have been replaced at no charge. They sent me the wrong boot and when I called to inform them I was ignored and basically told too bad! My only option was to return them and wait for another refund before reordering? Really?! Timberland you have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You have lost a loyal customer forever...
I bought these top grain leather, steel toed insulated boots a couple of years ago. They get very little wear as I have other steel toes I wear when it is warm. I put these on to do a trenching job and as I walked to the shop to get some tools it looked as if smoke were puffing out of the soles. By the time I got to the shop the right sole literally fell off and the left one partially fell off. As you can see by the photos these are essentially new. Never subjected to oils or solvents and worn very little. Very expensive to purchase and very cheaply made...
They did not stand behind their warranty. Offered a $30 e-gift card. Why would I purchase another Timberland product. They did not stand behind the boots that fell apart. A product is only as good as the company that stands behind it. When I filed a claim Timberland did not stand behind it. Buyer beware. The boots wore out in a few months. They basically fell apart on the inside.
Order the shoe again because it was very comfortable, They lasted almost two years, order again the same kind, they changed the insole of the shoe with a cheaper one very uncomfortable. Not going to buy again.
I first bought some Timberland deck shoes in the '80s sometime - not sure just when... and have replaced them with the same - comfortable, durable, good quality. I recently ordered my 3rd pair... wow, what a disappointment. I don't know if the company has changed hands, or what. Sole color is now stark white - which I'm not fond of, but the worst part was the new 'inner sole' - a nice piece of smooth leather, which at first I thought was a good touch - is absurd. I can just envision some eager MBA 'Bottom Line' Clown saying "Hey - I know what! We can save a buck per shoe if we only run that innersole part way up the shoe! And some dim-witted Exec. Said 'OK'!
So, you have this nice HALF innersole that curls up every time you remove your foot from the shoe. I'll never buy another Timberland shoe of any kind. They've become money-grubbing 'Bottom Line Babies'.
